The player has two main functions: HDD Storage for your PC & Multimedia Player
to TV/Monitor
How to use the player as a HDD Storage Device:
- Install the hard disk into the player enclosure and connect it to your PC via USB.
- Turn on the player. The driver for this new portable HDD will be initialized automatically
in your computer if you are running Windows® 2000/XP/Vista.
- A green arrow will appear in the right bottom corner of the computer screen.
(If you used a new hard disk in the media player you have to format and partition the
hard disk before use)

Playing Movies:
Select MOVIE in the main menu and press the ENTER key to enter the movie browser
mode.
Use the Up/Down/Left/Right keys to select a movie and the ENTER key to start
playback.
Key function during movie playback
Key Function Description
POWER Power switch
OSD Shows current play time. Press again and press ENTER and it will show
the time left, press it a third time to exit the mode.
L/R Switch between 3 audio channels: Mono Left/ Mono Right/Stereo
A-B
Repeat playback of a specific segment (A-B). At the starting point
A (point A) press A-B key, a few minutes later press the A-B key again
at the stopping point B (point B), the device will repeat playback of the
selected segment (A-B) automatically. Press A-B key again to cancel
A-B repeat playback
MENU Return to navigation window
DEVICE Return to device window

ENTER ()Press to select the highlighted option
ZOOM Use the ZOOM key to zoom in
STEP Press the STEP key, the device will enter STEP playback status. Press
ENTER to return to normal playback
TIME Press the TIME key, and use the numeric keys to navigate to a exact
point in a movie.
SLOW
Press SLOW, the device will enter slow playback mode, there are
3 selectable speeds 2x/4x/8x. Press the ENTER key to return to normal
playback mode
SUBTITLE Subtitle: SRT, SSA, ASS, SUB, ASS, PSB, TXT
MUTE Mute switch
SETUP While in stop modus, enter the SETUP menu
Stop key
Pause/Play
REPEAT Change repeat play mode
INFO While in stop status, select file and press OSD/INFO. The screen will
then show file information
Skip backward
Skip forward
Skip to previous movie when playing, and to previous page when
browsing
Skip to next movie when playing, and to next page when browsing
VOL+ ()Increase volume during playback
VOL– ()Decrease volume during playback
Playing Music:
Select MUSIC in the main menu and press ENTER to enter the music library:

Press the UP/ DOWN keys to select the desired music file and press ENTER to play.

Press the PHOTO/DIGEST key, the device will search for JPG files and
create a nine-picture preview

File management:
Select FILE in the main menu, press the ENTER key to enter file browse mode
Press Up/Down keys to select a file and press ENTER to confirm.

File copy function
- Please choose a destination where you want to save the file or folder, and press the
COPY TARGET key to confirm.
- Choose the file or folder which you want to copy, and press COPY again. Now the folder
you’ve selected will be copied into the destination folder.
System setup
If you want to change the system settings, please press the STOP button to stop any
playback. Then press SETUP to access the system setup menu
* OSD LANGUANGE options: English (default), French, German, Italian, Spanish.
* Screen Saver options: ON (default), OFF.
* Default: Reset (This will reset all the settings to the factory settings).

* Audio Out options: ANALOG (default) ,SPDIF/PCM
* LPCM Output setup options: LPCM 48K (default), LPCM 96K.
Video Setup
* TV Display options: 4:3 PS (Pan Scan)(default), 4:3 LB (Letter Box), WIDE/HDTV.
* TV Type options: Auto, NTSC, PAL (default).
* Resolution options: INTERLACE, PROGRESSIVE (default), 720P, 1080i.
