Prior to operation, the push rod must be in-
stalled as shown and the appliance has to
be connected to power.

ÎCheck the mains cable regularly for
damage such as aging or formation of
cracks. If you find a damage, then the
cable must be replaced before using it
any further.
ÎCheck appliance for damage, have
damages repaired by customer service.
–For connection values, see technical
data and type plate.
–The electrical connections must be
done by an electrician according to IEC
60364-1.

Risk of electric shock.
–Do not drive over the mains cable.
mDanger
Risk of injury.
–Never wrap the mains cable around
your body or your neck.
–Do not let the mains cable come in con-
tact with the rotating brushes or rotating
pads.
Caution
The highest allowed net impedance at the
electrical connection point (refer to techni-
cal data) is not to be exceeded. In case of
confusion regarding the power impedance
present on your connection, please contact
your utilities provider.
ÎDisconnect the mains plug from the
socket.
ÎPull the lever for level adjustment and
bring the handle toward the front into a
vertical position.
ÎTilt the appliance rearward.
ÎPlace the disc brush/driver plate onto
the actuator and turn in anti-clockwise
direction.

ÎUndo the star handle screws on the top and
bottom supports.
ÎHang the detergent tank (option) into the
lower support.
ÎAlign and affix the detergent tank (option)
by sliding the two supports.
ÎScrew the star handle screws onto the sup-
ports.

1 Hose
ÎInsert the hose from the detergent tank
(option) into the bore on the casing. En-
sure that it is positioned properly.
Warning
Risk of damage. Only use the recommend-
ed detergents. With respect to different de-
tergents the operator bears the increased
risk regarding the operational safety and
danger of accident. Only use detergents
that are free from solvents, hydrochloric
acid and hydrofluoric acid.
Follow the safety instructions for using de-
tergents.
ÎRemove the lid.
ÎFill detergent solution into the detergent
tank.
ÎReplace the lid.
The additional weight (option) is used in
cases of severe contamination to achieve
an increased contact pressure.
Note
This higher contact pressure leads to a
quicker wear and tear on the brushes. Only
use the additional weight (option) if neces-
sary.
Caution
Crush hazard. Only lift the additional weight
(option) by its intended recesses.
ÎLift the additional weight (option) by its
recesses.
ÎPlace the additional weight (option)
onto the appliance.
Warning
Risk of injury! The operation of the appliance re-
quires practice.
–Ensure that there are no obstacles in the
area to be cleaned.
–Check the floor consistency for its suitability.
–The handling becomes more difficult with
uneven or rough surfaces.
ÎPull the lever for level adjustment.
ÎTilt the handle into a comfortable posi-
tion (arms outstretched).
ÎRelease the lever for level adjustment.
Caution
Risk of damage to the floor covering. Do
not operate the appliance on the spot.
ÎInsert the mains plug into a socket.
ÎSet handle to working height.
ÎHold the handle with both hands.
ÎPress and hold the unlocking button.
ÎUse the ON/OFF switch.
ÎRelease the unlocking button.
ÎRelease the switch to interrupt operation.
–Left: Press the handle downward.
–Right: Raise the handle.

ÎApply the detergent solution to the floor
or use the dosing lever of the detergent
tank (option).
ÎMove the appliance over the surface to
be cleaned.
ÎRepeat process for severe contamination.
ÎAfterwards, pick up the wastewater with
a wet vacuum or a cloth.
Caution
Risk of injury, risk of damage. The speed
switch may only be used while the appli-
ance is idle.
ÎTurn off the appliance.
ÎSelect the desired speed via the speed
switch:
Position I = 150 U/min
Position II = 300 U/min
ÎDisconnect the mains plug from the
socket.
ÎPull the lever for level adjustment and
bring the handle in a vertical position.
ÎRemove the detergent tank (option) and
dispose of unused detergent solution.
ÎSwivel the top cable hook downward.
ÎCoil the mains cable as shown.
ÎSwivel the top cable hook upward.
ÎRinse the detergent tank (option) with
clear water.
ÎPlace the appliance into the parking po-
sition.
ÎRemove the driver plate / disc brush.
ÎClean the casing with a damp cloth.
Caution
Risk of injury and damage! Observe the
weight of the appliance when you transport
it.
ÎSwivel the handle vertically and lock it.
ÎTilt the appliance backwards into the
transport position and drive it to its des-
tination location.
ÎWhen transporting in vehicles, secure
the appliance according to the guide-
lines from slipping and tipping over.
Caution
Risk of injury and damage! Note the weight
of the appliance in case of storage.
ÎPlace the appliance into the parking po-
sition.
ÎStore the appliance in a dry room, frost-
protected room.
ÎRinse contaminated disc brushes with
water.
ÎWash contaminated pads at a max.

ÎClean the casing with a damp cloth.
ÎCheck the mains connection cable for
damages.

caused by faulty material or defects in man-
ufacturing. In the event of a warranty claim
please contact your dealer or the nearest
authorized Customer Service centre.

Insufficient cleaning result Replace contaminated pads and wash them at a max.

move the foreign bodies if required.
