Safety
Read and understand all instructions before using this smart
lock. Damages caused by failure to follow instructions is not
covered by the warranty.
It is recommended to use the enclosures/accessories specified
by the company.
Use only the batteries configured for this product.
Do not forcibly disassemble the product to avoid alarm or
damage to the product.
Do not scratch the fingerprint sensor with sharp objects, it
could cause permanent damage.
Do not expose the product to corrosive substances to avoid
damaging the protective layer of the shell.
Do not hang objects on the handle/holder to avoid affecting the
normal use of the door lock.
Cleaning the product, please wipe it with a soft cloth.
Do not disassemble the battery while the device is in operation.
Please choose a professional engineer to install the door lock
and follow the company's standard installation instruction , and
do not install it by yourself.After the door lock is installed , Please
use“凯迪仕智能”APP to configuration network for the device
immediately and keep the mechanical key in a safe place. Don't
disclosure PIN code to the unknown person.
If the door lock triggers the low battery alarm, please replace the
fully charged lithium battery in time.
Warning
Do not place battery closing to fire in case of explosion.
Do not use emergency power supplies that do not comply
with safety regulations to power the product.
Do not short-circuit the two poles of the battery lead with
metal objects to avoid explosion.
Making sure replacement or maintenance are done by
professional person authorized by Kaadas
Your warranty may invalidate if you used accessories
produced by other manufacturer or not recommended by
Kaadas
Disposal of used battery and lock
Please understand the local electronic product classification
and collection system.
Please follow the local regulations and do not discard used
batteries into ordinary household garbage.
Properly disposing of used products helps to avoid potential
negative impacts on the environment and human health.
The battery can not be disposed of with ordinary household
garbage.

Before installation
Check the door opening direction before
installation
Latch bolt reversing
1. Use hex key to loosen the
screws counterclockwise
and remove the face plate.
2. Take out latch bolt, turn it
180° to change latch bolt
direction and put it back.

3. Install face plate and tighten the screws with hex key,
and the reversing completes.

Installation steps
Drilling holes on the door before
installing lock, then install mortise
in door and secure mortise with
supplied screws.
Install connecting screw post on
the front panel and put tailpiece
in shaft hole.
Send connection cables through hole
on the door and insert tailpiece of the
front panel through the rotating hole
on the mortise, than fix front panel with
mounting plate.
Note: Cut proper length tailpiece
according to door thickness.
Note: Cut the proper length of break-off screw
for the thickness of the door.

Check front panel and back
panel after installation and
if every parts is connected
well.
Insert front panel connection cable
and mortise connection cable to
corresponding interface on the back
panel, fasten tightly front and back
WIFI connection cables.
Put back surplus length connection cables
into the hole on the door and insert tailpiece
into emergency thumb turn of back panel,
then secure back panel with screws and
load Lithium battery and close battery cover.

Please scan QR code or search "凯迪仕智能" in app
store to download and install APP. Please complete
registration if use this APP first time. Open APP
home page after sign in successfully, click “+" at
top-right corner, select "scan code to add", then
scan the QR code on the back of the battery cover
to add the device.Please follow the guide of APP
for network configuration operation.
Note: Please ensure latest app version if you already
download“凯迪仕智能”APP on your phone. if QR code
on the battery cover can not be scanned, please select
“manual add" ,then Select the searched device or
enter K20 Pro Max(V2) at the top to go to the
corresponding add boot page.
4 Set your smart lock
WiFi network configuration
Add user and credential
① This lock only support 2.4Ghz WiFi frequency
and does not support 5Ghz frequency. If WiFi
configuration failed, please check router setting.
② Make sure distance between router and lock
not exceed 10m, otherwise weak signal may
affect connection effect.
③ Please keep WiFi network connection smooth,
otherwise it may affect some lock function.
④ Please make sure lock power supply is normal
and activated.
When it is inconvenient to pair lock by mobile“凯
迪仕智能”APP, you can press set button once on
the lock, register master PIN code or register
master fingerprint according to voice guide. Only
one type of credential can be registered at a time.
If the lock has been added using the phone“凯迪仕
智能”APP, open the APP home page, enter user
management interface,follow the APP guidelines
and lock voice prompts to add users and user PIN
code.
NOTE: Only one master PIN code and one master
fingerprint are supported on the lock.
Other credential need to be added through the
“凯迪仕智能”APP.

The lock system can enable/disable dual-verification. When dual-verification is enabled, it is required to verify
two type of credentials at same time to unlock, while it only need to verify one type of credential to unlock when
dual-verification is disabled.
Dual-verification enabled: dual verification (face-recognition+PIN code, face-recognition+fingerprint,
face-recognition+card, PIN code+fingerprint, PIN code+card,fingerprint+card.)
Dual-verification disabled: single credential verification (face-recognition, PIN code, card or fingerprint).
Note:
User PIN code(master, duress PIN code), user fingerprint(master, duress fingerprint), card, face-recognition,
Any two or more unlocking credentials can open.

Unlock from outside(normal mode)
IIn normal mode (Dual-verification is disabled), continuously entering wrong PIN code, face, fingerprint or card 5 times in a short period of time will
make this lock in lockdown for 100 seconds.
In safety mode (Dual-verification is enabled), continuously entering any wrong two credentials combination 5 times including PIN code, face,
fingerprint or card, will make this lock in lockdown for 100 seconds.
When the user approaches the door
lock, the camera automatically starts
face recognition, and the recognition
is confirmed successfully; Voice
prompt “Door opened”. Push or pull
the handle to open the door.

5 Use the smart lock

Touch the pad screen by palm to
lighten keypad; then entering the
registered PIN code with end of [#].

If your door is right opening direction, please turn the key
clockwise.
If your door is left opening direction, please turn the key
counterclockwise.
1. CLOSE button
Press CLOSE button once to lock.
Long press CLOSE button for 3 seconds to
enable privacy mode. In privacy mode , lock
can be opened only from inside or by master
credentials from outside.

Press OPEN button once to unlock.

You can unlock by mechanical key if you forget PIN code, the
battery run out or system error occurs.
When sensor handle function is enabled,
holding front and back side of sensing
handle at same time and cover unlocking
sensor can unlock from inside.
When sensing handle function is disabled,
please use OPEN button to unlock.
Insert the mechanical key and then rotate 180° to unlock.

When system is in voice mode, you can long
press button to enable mute mode after
keypad is waked up.
When system functions is in abnormal, you
can rotate emergency thumb turn to unlocking
position to unlock from inside.
When someone pressed the doorbell button ,
the doorbell sounds and video intercom
camera will shoot a video to send to paired
APP and send a notice. you can press notice
to see real-time situation of outside of door
(The APP will display incoming calls in the
background, Ensure that the APP (android)
has been granted automatic startup and
whitelist permissions, Otherwise, the android
phone may not receive push messages).
In real-time video intercom, a one-time PIN
code can be generated, and the APP side can
take screenshots and record screens.
PS: It is required to pair lock first to open
real-time video intercom camera function and
make sure the lock is network Configured.
(please refer to the previous WiFi network
configuration).
1. Enable: After closing door, press the defense
mode button to enable defense mode. voice
prompt “defense mode enabled”. In defense
mode, if someone unlock from inside , the
alarm will be triggered.
2. Disable: Defense mode will be disabled once
it is unlock from outside.

6 Other functions
Inside display screen
Awaken button
Press awaken button once to wake up display screen to see outside
situation, press awaken button again can close display screen and
awaken button light.
1. Display light-up time 5/10/15 seconds (default 10 seconds),
brightness (high, medium and low, default medium), user can set it
in the mobile app.
2. Display is on by default when you press the doorbell, you can turn
on or turn off it in the mobile app.
3. Display screen is turn on : Outdoor click doorbell, the display and
awaken button light come on simultaneously, you can watch the
dynamic outside the door in real time though the display; touch
the awaken button again to turn off the display.
4. Display screen is turn off : Outdoor click doorbell, only awaken
button light come on, touch the awaken button, you can watch the
dynamic outside the door in real time though the display; touch the
awaken button again to turn off the display.
If you forget master PIN code, When the battery is working properly,
you can double press reset button on the back panel by a pin tool,
then press "#" key on the keypad within 15 seconds according to the
voice guide to confirm restoring to factory settings. After the setting
is successful, voice prompt “The factory Settings have been restored”.
After restoring to factory settings, lock can't be locked normally and
any fingerprint can be used to unlock. it is required to pair lock to add
credential as soon as possible.

Replace battery
If you need to reboot the system, you can use a 5V power bank
as an emergency power supply and power the door lock through
the Type-C port.
Emergency power supply
When the battery voltage is too low to open the lock from outside,
you can use 5V power bank to charge the door lock via Type-C
port. After the door is unlocked, please replace battery
immediately.
Note:
When battery is too low, voice prompt "Low battery, please
change battery in time" at each unlocking and please replace
battery immediately.
