General:
ASTRO s a d g tal t me sw tch that calculates the sunset and sunr se
t mes by us ng coord nates and real t me clock. It operates accord ng to
the program sett ng and t has no need for a photocell sensor. Dev ce
could be used as astronom cal or d g tal t me sw tch.
ASTRO has two reserves to protect the real t me clock and calender
aga nst power outage.
For long term reserve there s CR2032 battery. If the dev ce s powered,
battery l fe s approx. 5 years. When the battery l fe s exp red,the user s
able to replace the battery eas ly.
Super capac tor s used for short t me power fa lures. It suppl es the
dev ce for 3-7 hours. In th s case battery s not used, so battery level s
conserved.
NOTE1: Before comm ss on ng the dev ce, please nsert the battery nto
the battery compartment .
NOTE : If the dev ce s not powered, ASTRO automat cally enters power
save mode to conserve the battery l fe. When the dev ce s n th s mode
LCD screen s turned off. The screen would turn on when press ng any
button and so the user would be able to change the sett ngs and
programm ng the dev ce manually. After 15 seconds of nact v ty, the
screen would be turned off aga n.
NOTE3: 4 preset programs are ava lable on the dev ce.

There are two clock faces, on the left for Relay A
and on the r ght for Relay B.
Warnings:
- The connect on of dev ce must be done by author zed techn cal
serv ce staff accord ng to the w r ng d agram.
- Before mak ng the connect ons to dev ce's term nals, please be
sure that there s no voltage across the cables or term nals. Also be
sure that the panel s de-energ zed.
- Before clean ng the dev ce, please be sure that t s de-energ zed
and use only dry t ssue-paper to clean t. Water or any other
chem cals used for clean ng may harm the dev ce
- Before comm ss on ng the dev ce, please be sure that the term nal
connect ons are made exactly
the same as n the connect on d agram
- To protect the dev ce, please mount t on DIN ra l n a panel.
- Contact your author zed dealer, f a problem occurs w th your
dev ce.

MENUS:
Press SET button on the ma n screen to access the menus. If the
lock funct on s deact vated, PROG menu appears on the screen. Use
the d rect on buttons to see ADJUST,DISPLY and EXIT
MANUAL MODE
Manual mode s used for sett ng or test ng the des red relay output, or
deact vat ng the program operat on. Th s mode could be act vated for
both of the relays separately. If output A s locked t can't be sw tched
to manual mode for output A, but t can be sw tched for output B.
For block ng the act vat on of manual mode, the related output should
be locked. Lock funct on s descr bed on page 7.
There are two d fferent manual modes.
1-TEMPORARY MODE : When the subsequent program steps n,
temporary manual mode would be deact vated.
Temporary manual mode for Relay A :
Push ▼ button unt l the flash ng hand con appears on the left of the
screen.
Throughout the manual mode, for chang ng Relay A output, t s
necessary to push and release ▼ button.
In th s mode, f the subsequent program for Relay A changes the
output, manual mode would be deact vated automat cally and
ASTRO operates the program. Otherw se manual mode would
cont nue to be act ve for Relay A.
To deact vate th s mode for Relay A as an opt on, push ▼ button unt l
the flash ng hand con d sappears.
Temporary manual mode for Relay B :
Push ▲ button unt l the flash ng hand con appears on the r ght of the
screen.
Throughout the manual mode, for chang ng Relay B output, t s
necessary to push and release ▲ button.
In th s mode, f the subsequent program for Relay B changes the
output, manual mode would be deact vated automat cally and
ASTRO operates the program. Otherw se manual mode would
cont nue to be act ve for Relay B.

- PERMANENT MODE : It s only poss ble to deact vate permanent
mode as manually.
Permanent manual mode for Relay A:
Push ▼ and SET buttons at the same t me unt l the hand con
appears on the left of the screen.
Permanent manual mode s not deact vated automat cally. The only
way to deact vate th s mode s manually.
Throughout the manual mode, for chang ng Relay A output, t s
necessary to push and release ▼ button.
To deact vate th s mode for Relay A, push ▼ button unt l the hand
con d sappears.

could not be act vated for t. But t s poss ble to act vate manual mode for Relay B. In th s case, for reach ng the menus, PIN code s
requ red. If th s funct on s enabled for both of the relays, manual control s not poss ble for both of them.
In conclus on, act vat ng lock funct on for any relay causes PIN code query before reach ng the menus and prevent manual control for the
related relay.
