TO PREVENT POSSIBLEDAMAGE TO THERADIO
1.Load the batterieswith correct polarity.
2.If the radiois not usedfor a longtime, remove allthe batteries out
and put itin a safeplace. Avoidextreme hot orcold.
3.Remove the lowbatteries as soonas the soundvolume gets lowor
hard to receivestations.
4.Do not mixthe new andlow batteries whenyou put thebatteries in.
TO USE THEAC ADAPTOR(Optional)
If you tryuse theAC adaptor,make sure thevoltage and outputpolarity
is correct asspecified in theradio.
RADIO OPERATION
1.Set LOCK switchto OFF.
2.Press POWER buttonto turn onthe radio.
3.Adjust the volumeto a properlevel.
4.Use BAND/ALERT (Band Selector15) tochange bands between
AM/FM/TV/WB.
5.Press the Lightbutton, the backlightwill last for8 seconds.
6.Totune the radio,you can keyin or stepsearch for theAM/FM
stations; for TVand Weather bands.On AM/FMbands, you canuse the
tuning button ornumbers to directkey in thefrequency; in TV/WBband,
just press thetunning button toselect the channels.

SLEEP TIMER
1. When the radio is turned on,press the SLEEP button,then
90 and" SLEEP "will appearon LCD. You canselect thedesired time
from 10 to 90 by pressing theSLEEP button,and the radio willturn off
automatically atthe preset time. Ifthe knob is pressedagain, the sleep
function is cancelled.
TO SET THE ALARM TIME
YOU CAN SET TWO ALARM TIME
1. Turn off the radio;
2. Press 1/AL1SET button, " 1 " will appear on the display. Then press
TIME SET MEMORY button twice, " Al1 " willappear on thedisplay. Thealarm
time will flashonthe LCD, meanwhile press HOUR/TUNE-or MIN/TUNE+
button seperately as many times as needed till the required time is reached.
After the time flash several times,
3.When you hear the unit alarm, press SNOOZE button,the radio will stop
alarm, but 8seconds later, the radio will alarmagain.
Note: You have to choose AM/PM Properly.

radio is on,press MODE button,it switches amongthe modes: time,
alert1, alert2, frequencyand time repeatedly. If itis set totime mode, 4
seconds later,it will goback to frequencymode automatically.
When the radiois OFF, press TIMESET button, theclock number will
flash, then usethe HOUR/TUNE+ buttonto adjust Hour, and
MIN/TUNE- button toadjust minute.After a fewseconds, the timeis
set automatically.

The built inferrite antenna willgive you agood reception onAM, butyou need
to adjust thedirection to getthe max receptionon theAM station.

reception.

If the radio isnot used for along time, remove thebatteries from the battery
compartment to prevent possiblebattery leakage.
The radio should bekept in a placewith no extreme heator cold. Do notget
the radio in avery humidity place andnever get any liquidinto the radio.
Takethe radio with care,any shock may damagethe parts inside.
When use the radioin a moving vehicle, a cement building, use the radio
close to the openwindow for better reception.Any metal willhave interference
on the reception.
