SETTING UP THE WHIRLPOOL
For other bathtub model-specific notes for the installation
of the whirlpool - see also the Installation Instructions
page 3.
If the whirlpool is supplied with a handrail (*), this
should be fastened before the tub is mounted (see
enclosed installation instructions).
NOTE A: The tub model cannot be set up with the
head section pointing to one corner of the room
at an acute angle since otherwise the technical
equipment would no longer be accessible.
NOTE B: When setting up the tub model, additional
supporting strips have to be provided in the corner
of the room.
For the installation of the tub models CENTRO
DUO OVAL (mod. 127-7/128-7), MEGA DUO OVAL
(mod. 184-7), CLASSIC DUO OVAL WIDE (mod.
115-7), CONO DUO (mod. 733-7/734-7/ 735-7)
and VAIO DUO OVAL (mod. 951-7), the supply
and waste pipes have to be laid in the floor (see
paragraphs below). The place of installation of the
whirlpool must be tiled and the joints pointed.

WHIRLPOOLS WITH CASING
For the installation of the tub models CENTRO DUO OVAL
(mod. 127-7/128-7), MEGA DUO OVAL (mod. 184-7),
CLASSIC DUO OVAL WIDE (mod. 115-7), CONO DUO
(mod. 733-7/734-7/735-7) and VAIO DUO OVAL (mod.
951-7), the local waste pipe, the power supply line and
the water feed pipe, if applicable, have to be laid through
the floor. In the areas marked in the drawings, the pipes/
lines must be led through the casing.

ALIGNMENT OF THE CASING
Before the installation of the tub models CENTRO DUO
OVAL (mod. 127-7/128-7), MEGA DUO OVAL (mod. 184-7),
CLASSIC DUO OVAL WIDE (mod. 115-7), CONO DUO (mod.
733-7/734-7/735-7) and VAIO DUO OVAL (mod. 951-7),
the casing first has to be set up on the tiled floor.
• Set up the casing in the intended place.
• Align the casing.
Align the casing in exactly horizontal position by
means of a spirit level.
• Apply a continuous silicone joint (A, approx. 10 mm
thick) to the bottom openings of the casing, as illus-
trated.

CONNECTION OF THE DRAIN AND
OVERFLOW FITTINGS
WHIRLPOOLS WITH CASING (MOD. xxx-7)
• To connect the drain and overflow fittings to the local
sewerage, place the whirlpool with its height-adjustable
feet on the supplied mounting boards.
Place, e.g., cardboard underneath the mounting
boards to protect the casing from damage.
• Carefully place the whirlpool into the casing and check
the optimum position of the siphon trap connecting
hose.
ALIGNMENT OF THE WHIRLPOOL
WHIRLPOOL WITH CASING (MOD. xxx-7)
The height-adjustable feet are preset to the correct height
in the workshop. Normally it is not necessary to adjust the
feet.

POINTING THE CASING JOINTS
After the functional check, the casing can be sealed with
the appropriate flexible sealing material (e.g. silicone,
acrylic).
• Point the continuous edge below the bathtub rim (A)
with sealing material and let it rest until the sealing
material has hardened completely (see manufacturer‘s
instructions).
For the operation of the whirlpool it is absolutely
necessary that air can circulate underneath the
pool. The bottom edge (B) of the casing must not
be pointed.
