The 1080p Mini Player creates
beautiful high definition output from
your DVDs, providing a viewing
experience that rivals Blu-ray, and it
does so in a compact form factor.
The 1080p Mini Player adapts its video
processing to the type of content
being viewed. For example, the
onscreen display (OSD) with its sharp
edges and high contrast is processed
differently than movies, which contain
motion and natural colors. The 1080p
Mini Player also uses information
from the Kaleidescape Movie Guide
database to zoom letterboxed movies
to fill a 16:9 display and to relocate
subtitles for optimal viewing.
10-bit 4:4:4 color processing results
in accurate colors, natural skin
tones and nuanced shadows – fully
engaging the interest and imagination
of the audience. Motion adaptive
deinterlacing and reverse 3:2/2:2
pulldown produce crystal clear video
with smooth motion.
Automatic video configuration
matches output to the highest
available resolution over an HDMITM
connection, simplifying the installation
and setup required to achieve a
stunning high definition image.
The 1080p Mini Player’s small size and
near-silent operation make it an ideal
free-standing device sitting on a shelf
in the viewing room, hidden behind a
plasma display, concealed in a cabinet,
or mounted recessed in a wall or
behind a piece of furniture.
Designed to play back movies and
music from a Kaleidescape server,
the 1080p Mini Player is perfect for
locations where imports and direct
playback of a DVD or CD are not
required, such as a child’s room or
a stateroom on a yacht.
