2. Check that your mains vo tage corresponds to that stated on the
rating p ate of the app iance before using the app iance.
3. To protect against e ectrica shock do not immerse cord, p ug, or
the motor unit in water or other iquid.

as it comes into direct contact with food.
15. The pouring jar shou d be assemb ed correct y on the motor base
before you p ug it into the mains. The app iance is equipped with

a safety, which prevents the pouring jar from working if it is not
assemb ed correct y.
16. The app iance is designed for the preparation of sma quantities
of food, which have to be consumed rather quick y. It is not
designed for the preparation of arge quantities at once.
17. Keep hands and utensi s out of container whi e b ending to
reduce the risk of severe persona injury and/or damage to
b ender. A rubber spatu a may be used but must be used on y
when b ender is not running.
18. Do not use a broken, chipped or cracked b ender jar.
19. To reduce the risk of injury, never p ace the cutting unit b ades on
base without jar proper y attached.

22. A ways c ose the jar with the id before starting mixing. When
mixing hot iquid, do not fi more than 2/3 of the jar and be very
carefu in order to avoid sp ashing of hot iquid, otherwise you can
get burned. Do not forget to c ose the feeding ho e of the
pouring jar with the cap.
23. Screw on b ade assemb y firm y. Injury can resu t if moving b ades
accidenta y become exposed.

25. To disconnect cord, turn the speed se ector to "0" , then remove

POLA IZED PLUG INST UCTIONS
Some app iances are equipped with a po arized p ug (one b ade is
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of e ectric shock, this p ug
wi fit into the po arized out et on y one way. If the p ug does not
proper y fit into the out et at first, reverse it. If it sti does not fit,
contact a competent qua ified e ectrician. Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way.
For app iances equipped with a standard p ug, simp y insert the p ug
into the out et without paying attention to the way you p ug it.

SHO T CO D INST UCTIONS
A short power supp y cord is provided to reduce the hazards resu ting
from becoming entang ed in, or tripping over a onger cord.
Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
• The e ectrica rating of the extension cord shou d be at east
that of the app iance. If the e ectrica rating of the extension
cord is too ow, it cou d overheat and burn.
• The resu ting extended cord shou d be arranged so that it wi
not drape over the counter top or tab etop where it can be
pu ed on by chi dren or tripped over.

IMPO TANT INFO MATION
This app iance is not for professiona use. You shou d fo ow the
requested breaks. Fai ure to fo ow this instruction carefu y may resu t
in damage to the motor. The maximum continuous usage time is 1
minute. After 1 minute of continuous use, you shou d insert a break of
at east 10 minutes.
ASSEMBLY OF THE BLENDE AND USE
CAUTION!
Your app iance is fitted with a security device a owing the
functioning of the app iance on y when the jar is correct y p aced on
the motor b ock. If the jar is correct y positioned and the app iance
does not start, ca your after sa es service.
If the blade is disassembled from the bottom of the jar, check the
cleaning section for mounting instructions before continuing.
• Put pouring jar on the motor b ock and make sure it is correct y
inserted.
• Remove the id of the b ender.
• Fi the pouring jar with the chosen ingredients.
• C ose the id.
• P ug in the app iance.
• Choose the mixing speed with the button on the motor base. The
position 0 corresponds to the stopping of the app iance, the
position 1 to the s ow speed and the position 2 to the fast one.
• The position "P" (Pu se) is particu ar because the button has to be
kept manua y. This position is genera y used to crush ice in order
to avoid damages on the b ades, but it can a so be used to
comp ete the mixing.
• It is a so possib e to add iquids or other ingredients anytime
without stopping the app iance. You on y have to remove the
cap, which c oses the feeding opening by turning and raising it
straight up.
• Once you have finished the preparation, stop the app iance
(position 0) and unp ug the app iance.

• Remove the jar from the base. Then remove the id and pour the
iquid in the desired receptac e.
HOW TO CLEAN
• A ways unp ug from out et before c eaning.
• For a quick rinsing of the pouring jar (for examp e between two
preparations), you can use c ear water and switch on your
app iance for a few seconds. In this case, do not use any
detergent.
• For a fu c eaning, remove the jar from the motor b ock and turn
the b ade fixing ring on the bottom of the jar anti-c ockwise to
detach the sea ing ring and the b ade (this wi make the
c eaning easier). Then you can c ean these parts with soapy
water and rinse thorough y with c ear water. Dry before
assemb ing. To attach the b ades, put the sea ing ring around the
b ades, insert them in the bottom of the jar and tighten the fixing
ring by turning it c ockwise (tighten vigorous y in order to avoid
eaks). Caution, do not ose the sea during this operation.
• You can wipe the motor b ock with a soft damp c oth.

This KALORIK product is warranted for 1 year from the date of
purchase against defects in materia and workmanship. This warranty
is not transferab e. Keep the origina sa es receipt. Proof of purchase
is required to obtain warranty performance.
During this period, the KALORIK product that, upon inspection by
KALORIK, is proved defective, wi be repaired or rep aced, at
KALORIK's option, without charge to the customer. If a rep acement
product is sent, it wi carry the remaining warranty of the origina
product.
This warranty does not app y to any defect arising from a buyer's or
user's misuse of the product, neg igence, fai ure to fo ow KALORIK
instructions noted in the user’s manua , use on current or vo tage
other than that stamped on the product, wear and tear, a teration
or repair not authorized by KALORIK, or use for commercia purposes.
There is no warranty for g ass parts, g ass containers, fi ter basket,
b ades and agitators, and accessories in genera . There is a so no
warranty for parts ost by the user.
ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS WITH RESPECT TO
THIS PRODUCT IS ALSO LIMITED TO THE ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

period and more than 30 days after date of purchase, do not return

donde e consumo no debe ser demasiado tardío. No está
concebido para a preparación de grandes cantidades a a vez.
