1. Per evitare incidenti è necessario controllare che tutti gli accessori ed i bagagli siano montati correttamente,
verificate con regolare frequenza le condizioni di tenuta.
2. Accessori e bagagli possono ridurre la stabilità e le prestazioni della motocicletta. Tenetene conto durante la
marcia.
3. Non utilizzate mai la motocicletta con il bauletto aperto o sovraccarico.
4. Leggete con attenzione il manuale, le eventuali limitazioni della vostra motocicletta e le istruzioni di montaggio.
5. Non mettete materiali infiammabili, esplosivi, o bombole di gas nelle valigie.
6. Verificate con scrupolosa perizia che i bulloni di fissaggio del kit e la valigia siano ben serrati.

2. The addition of accessories and luggage can reduce the stability, performance and safe operating speed of a
motorcycle.
3. Never ride a motorcycle with the top box overloaded or unlocked.
4. Read the owner’s manual, the limitations of your motorbike and fitting instructions carefully.
5. Do not put flammable or explosive materials, nor gas cylinders into the cases.
6. Carefully verify that the bolts that fix the case or the kit are firmly tightened during regular servicing.
1. Um Unfälle zu vermeiden, achten Sie bitte darauf, dass alle Zubehörteile und Gepäckstücke sorgfältig montiert
sind. Prüfen Sie dies regelmäßig nach!
2. Zubehörteile und Gepäckstücke können die Stabilität und Leistungsfähigkeit des Motorrades beeinträchtigen.
Passen Sie Ihre Fahrgeschwindigkeit den geänderten Verhältnissen an.

4. Lesen Sie die Anbauanleitung aufmerksam durch und beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise in Ihrem

1. Guidate la motocicletta con prudenza soprattutto quando le valigie sono a pieno carico.
2. ll montaggio delle valigie può influenzare il comportamento su strada del motociclo soprattutto in
funzione del peso trasportato che comunque non può eccedere i limiti indicati. Prima di partire accertatevi
che il carico del bauletto sia fissato per evitare che si sposti. A causa del comportamento di guida modificato,
prima di intraprendere un viaggio verificate la stabilità e le condizioni di guida del mezzo con un giro di prova. Di
conseguenza adattate lo stile di guida alle condizioni del motociclo.
3. Durante le manovre di guida in uno spazio ristretto fate attenzione alla larghezza del carico.
4. Attenzione al vento forte. La sensibilità al vento laterale aumenta in seguito al fissaggio di bauletti.
5. Sia l’installazione che l’utilizzo delle valigie potrebbero essere soggetti a limitazioni di legge nel vostro paese o
in quelli che intendete visitare con la moto. Informatevi.
1. Always take care when riding the motorcycle, above all when the cases are at full load.
2. The mounting of motorcycle luggage can influence the handling characteristics of the motorcycle. This is
due to the extra load applied to the vehicle. Under no circumstances should the gross weight of the luggage exceed
that recommended by KAPPA or the motorcycle manufacturer. We therefore recommend that you consider the
loading of the vehicle when riding. Before leaving always check that the load is secure to avoid its movement.
Because of the higher loading, please always check the stability of your motorbike when you leave for a trip,
driving for a short way. Always take extra care when using motorcycle luggage that is fitted to your bike.
3. When driving in a narrow space pay attention to the width of the bike.

Please pay attention if the wind is strong. The sensitivity of your motorcycle to side winds is increased with cases fitted.
5. Both the fitting and use of the cases may be subject to legal restrictions depending on the laws of your Country
or the Country you are riding in. Please make sure you are aware of any such restrictions before travelling.

überschritten werden darf. Prüfen Sie vor der Abfahrt nochmals, ob die Ladung im Koffer gegen Verrutschen

Motorrades. Passen Sie Ihre Fahrweise entsprechend den veränderten Fahrverhalten des Motorrades an.
3. Vorsicht bei Fahrmanövern auf schmalen Straßen.
4. Nach der Montage unserer Produkte erhöht sich die Seitenempfindlichkeit bei starkem Wind.
5. Die Montage und die Verwendung der Koffer könnte gegen gültige Vorschriften oder Beschränkungen in Ihrem
Land verstoßen, oder gegen Länder in die Sie mit Ihrem Motorrad verreisen möchten. Bitte informieren Sie sich
hierüber vorher.

en fonction du poids total qui ne doit pas être supérieur à celui autorisé. Avant de partir, assurez-vous que le
chargement dans la valise soit bien fixé pour éviter qu’il se déplace. à cause du changement de comportement de
la conduite, avant de commencer votre voyage, faites un tour d’essai pour vérifier la stabilité et les conditions de
conduite. Adaptez votre conduite en conséquence.
3. En manoeuvrant dans un espace étroit, faites attention à la largeur du chargement.
4. Faites attention si le vent est fort. La sensibilité au vent latéral augmente en raison de la présence des valises.
5. L'installation ou l'utilisation de valises peut être sujette à des restrictions légales dans votre pays ou dans celui
où vous comptez vous rendre à moto. Renseignez-vous.

máxima.
2. El montaje del baúl puede influir en el pilotaje de la moto durante la marcha, sobre todo en función del peso
transportado, que de todos modos no puede exceder el límite indicado. Antes de iniciar la marcha compruebe de
que la carga del baúl esté bien asegurada, para evitar que se desplace. A causa del comportamiento modificado
durante la conducción, recomendamos que antes de comenzar un viaje compruebe la estabilidad y las condiciones
de marcha con una vuelta de prueba y adopte el estilo de conducción consecuente.
3. Durante las maniobras en espacios reducidos preste mucha atención a la anchura de la carga.
4. En condiciones de viento fuerte aumente el nivel de atención. La percepción del viento lateral aumenta
sensiblemente con el montaje del baúl.
5. Sea la instalación que la utilización de las maletas podrían ser sujetas a limitaciones de ley en vuestro país o en
los que quereis visitar con la moto. Informad.

1. Affinché l’usura non comprometta l’aggancio della valigia è necessario controllare periodicamente:
• il serraggio delle viti che ancorano il nasello;
• l’usura dei gommini.
2. Al fine di non pregiudicare la normale tenuta ermetica della valigia, assicuratevi che la stessa si chiuda senza
che il coperchio sforzi contro il contenuto.
3. Non sedersi sopra le valigie. Un carico illecito della superficie delle valigie nonché riempirle con oggetti
ingombranti o troppo voluminosi potrebbe danneggiare la valigia compromettendone l'impermeabilità.
1. To avoid wear compromising the case fastening, please periodically check:
• that the screws of the attachment clamp are duly fastened;
• that the plate rubbers are not worn.
2. In order not to prejudice the watertight seal of the case, be sure that it is closed in a way that the lid does not
force against the content.
3. The cases haven't been constructed to sit on. An excessive load on their upper surface as well as loading
the case with bulky or voluminous objects may cause considerable damage to the case and compromise its
watertightness.
1. Um eine Beeinträchtigung der Kofferbefestigung zu vermeiden, kontrollieren Sie bitte regelmäßig:
• dass die Schrauben des Haltebügels ordnungsgemäß montiert sind
• dass die Gummistöpsel nicht abgenutzt sind
2. Damit die Dichtigkeit der Koffer gewährleistet wird, darf der Deckel beim Verschließen des Koffers nicht gegen
den Inhalt drücken.
3. Die Koffer sind nicht gebaut worden, um sich darauf zu setzen. Eine unzulässige Beladung der Koffer,
sowie eine Überladung mit großen Gegenständen, könnte die Koffer erheblich beschädigen und damit die
Wasserundurchlässigkeit beeinträchtigen.

• contrôler l’usure des silent blocs.
2. Afin de ne pas compromettre la fermeture et l’étanchéité de la valise, s’assurer qu’elle se referme sans que le
couvercle force sur le contenu.
3. Les top cases ne sont pas faits pour s'asseoir dessus. Un poids exessif sur le dessus ainsi qu'un chargement trop
encombrant ou volumineux peuvent endommager considérablement la valise et compromettre son étanchéité.
1. Con el fin de que el desgaste no comprometa el anclaje, es indispensable revisar periódicamente:
• la fijación de los tornillos que sujetan el anclaje;
• el desgaste de las gomas anti-vibración.
2. Con el fin de no perjudicar la estabilidad del baúl, es indispensable comprobar que esté bien cerrado y que la
tapa no modifique su posición a causa del contenido.
3. Los baúles no han sido fabricados para sentarse encima. Una carga impropia puesta sobre la superficie de
los baúles o incluso la introducción de objetos pesados o voluminosos puede dañar gravemente el mismo baúl
comprometiendo su estabilidad y seguridad.

1. I nostri prodotti non necessitano di manutenzione specifica. In caso di caduta della moto o di urto
violento del bauletto, anche se trasportato a mano, si raccomanda di controllare attentamente che non si
siano verificate rotture o danneggiamenti al sistema di aggancio.
2. Per la pulizia utilizzate solamente acqua e sapone neutro. Non usate mai solventi, benzina o altri prodotti
chimici che possano danneggiare il bauletto.
1. Unsere Produkte benötigen keine spezifische Wartung. Im Falle eines Unfalles oder einem heftigem
Stoß gegen den Koffer, selbst wenn Sie den Koffer in der Hand tragen, empfehlen wir immer, sorgfältig
zu überprüfen, dass sich keine Beschädigungen am Befestigungssystem des Koffers befinden.
2. Zur Pflege und für die Reinigung benutzen Sie nur neutrales Reinigungsmittel (Wasser mit Neutralseife).
Benutzen Sie niemals Lösungsmittel, Benzin oder andere chemische Produkte, da diese den Koffer
beschädigen können.
1. Our cases and related products do not require any specific maintenance. Although, in the event of an
accident with the motorcycle or any violent impact to the case, even when carried by hand, we recommend
careful inspection to ensure that no damage has occurred to the securing or locking mechanism.
2. For the cleaning of the top box use a neutral cleaner (just water with mild soap). Never use solvents, petrol
or other chemical products that could damage the case.
1. Nos produits ne nécessitent pas d’entretien particulier. En cas de chute de la moto ou d’un choc violent
du top case, même en le portant à la main, il est toutefois recommandé de vérifier attentivement qu’il n’y
ait pas casse ou endommagement du système d’accrochage.
2. Pour le nettoyage, utiliser seulement de l'eau avec du savon neutre. Ne pas employer de solvants, d'essence
ou autres produits chimiques qui pourraient endommager les top cases.

al baúl, también si el producto es transportado a mano, se recomienda controlar igualmente que no se
hayan producidos roturas o daños al sistema de anclaje.
2. Para limpiar el baúl utilice sólo agua y jabón neutro. No utilice nunca disolventes, gasolina o productos
químicos ya que pueden dañar el baúl irreparablemente.

Limitare il carico se il peso della valigia e il suo contenuto superano quello consentito dalle istruzioni di
montaggio del portapacco o dalle limitazioni indicate dalla casa madre.
Limit the load if the weight of the case and its contents exceed the maximum loading suggested in the mounting
nstruction of the case carrier or exceed the loading limitations given by the motorcycle manufacturer.
Beschränken Sie die Zuladung des Koffers, wenn das Gewicht des Koffers und dessen Inhalt die maximale
angegebene Zuladung aus der Bedienungsanleitung des Gepäckträgers oder die Gewichtsbeschränkungen des
Fahrzeugherstellers überschreitet.

Ruotare la chiave verso destra.
Turn the key clockwise.

With lid closed, push top of lever upwards and inwards so that it catches on top shell.

avvenuta potrà ruotare verso sinistra per poi essere sfilata.
Push with a downward motion on the PRESS sticker till lever clicks close, the
case is now locked and the key can be removed.
Zum Schließen des Koffers drücken Sie auf dem PRESS Aufkleber; nun kann der
Koffer mit dem Schlüssel abgeschlossen und der Schlüssel entnommen werden.
Pousser fortement à l'endroit marqué PRESS; tourner la clé vers la gauche puis
l'enlever.
Presionar con fuerza el botón PRESS y rotar la llave hacia la izquierda para poder
abrir la maleta.

1. Inserire le due sedi presenti sul fondo del bauletto sulle apposite lance poste sul telaio di
ancoraggio.
Insert the two protrusions on the bottom-shell under the slots located on the fitting plate.
Stecken Sie die zwei Streben auf dem Kofferunterteil in die dafür vorgesehenen Stellen auf der
Befestigungs-Platte.
Insérer les deux languettes (encastrées) présentes sur le fond de la valise dans les fentes
appropriées situées sur la platine d'ancrage.
Introducir las lengüetas del fondo del baúl en sus sedes situadas en la parrilla de anclaje.
2. Spingere il bauletto verso il basso.
Push the case downwards.
Schieben Sie den Koffer nach unten.
Pousser de la valise vers le bas.
Presionar el baúl hacia abajo.
3. Inserire il nasello di fissaggio della piastra nell’apposito foro posto sul fondo del bauletto.
Insert the locking wedge of the plate in the relevant recess on the case bottom-shell.
Stecken Sie zur Befestigung die Nase der Platte in das dafür vorgesehene Loch auf dem
Kofferunterteil.
Insérer le plot de fixation de la platine dans le trou approprié sur le fond de la valise.
Introducir el bloque de cierre de anclaje de la parrilla en el relativo agujero puesto en el fondo
del baúl.
4. Per un perfetto aggancio della valigia al relativo supporto accertarsi di udire il “click” del
nasello che è entrato nella apposita sede; diversamente l’aggancio non sarà completato
rischiando inoltre il distacco della valigia stessa.
For perfect fastening of the case to the plate, check that you hear the “click” to ensure the lock
is seated correctly; otherwise the fastening hasn't been completed and the case may detach
itself.
Um eine einwandfreie Befestigung des Koffers zu gewährleisten, überprüfen Sie, ob beim
Einrasten des Koffers ein „klicken“ hörbar ist. Ansonsten wurde die Befestigung nicht korrekt
durchgeführt und der Koffer könnte sich von der Platte lösen.
Pour un ancrage parfait de la valise à la platine, s'assurer de bien entendre le clic du verrouil-
lage du plot de fixation dans son logement. autrement, l'arrimage du top case ne sera pas
complet et en outre il risque de se décrocher de son support.
Para un anclaje correcto del baúl al soporte, asegurarse de escuchar el “clic” del bloque de
cierre que entra en su sede; de otra manera el anclaje no está completo y se puede producir un

5. Dopo aver fissato la valigia controllare l’avvenuto aggancio sollevando la stessa dal lato
maniglia.
After having fixed the case check that the fastening has been completed by gently lifting the
case from the handle side.

Nella fase di aggancio della valigia laterale fare ASSOLUTAMENTE attenzione che il gancio evi-
denziato nelle immagini a lato sia in posizione come nell’illustrazione “OK”.
When fastening the side-case, pay STRICT attention to ensure that the fastening hook indicated
in the picture is in the position “OK”.
Achten Sie bei der Befestigung des Seitenkoffers UNBEDINGT darauf, dass sich der
Befestigungs-Haken in der richtigen Stellung (siehe Bild) befindet.
A l'accrochage de la valise latérale, faire ABSOLUMENT attention à ce que les crochets, mis en
évidence sur les dessins ci-contre, soient dans la même position que celle de l'illustration “OK”.

Al fine di tutelare l'utente ed evitare di danneggiare la struttura originale della motocicletta, Vi informiamo che il nostro prodotto é il risul-
tato dell'assemblaggio di numerosi particolari. Di conseguenza le saldature e le pieghe che lo caratterizzano, nonché le piccole differenze
di telaio tra una moto e l'altra possono sommarsi e dar luogo ad un montaggio non corretto. Vi consigliamo pertanto di affidarVi a persona-
le qualificato per il montaggio e di verificare attentamente prima di mettervi in viaggio che nessuna parte del kit interferisca negativamente
con parti originali della moto (telaio, silenziatore, carenature, ammortizzatori etc.) e che il funzionamento del sistema di illuminazione
(luci) sia garantito secondo le regole. Accertarsi che il posto del passeggero non sia ostacolato dalle valigie laterali. La KAPPA non rispon-
derà di eventuali danni causati da un montaggio o da un utilizzo errato del prodotto da parte di personale non qualificato. La garanzia pre-
vede esclusivamente la sostituzione gratuita degli articoli di produzione KAPPA che risultassero difettosi in fase di montaggio. Nel caso
insorgano problemi, ad esempio problemi di montaggio o domande, non apportate mai modifiche, ma rivolgetevi al produttore, ad un suo
rappresentante o rivenditore. I bauletti e i kit di fissaggio danneggiati non vanno assolutamente riutilizzati.
INFORMAZIONI NECESSARIE PER IL MONTAGGIO
In order to protect the user and avoid damage to the original structure of the motorcycle, we would like to point out the following. Our pro-
duct is the result of the assembly of various components. Therefore the welded points and bends, as well as the different motorcycle chas-
sis’s can cause assembly difficulties. For the correct fitting procedure we suggest you to rely on qualified personnel and to check carefully
that the kit components do not interfere negatively or contact with the original parts of the motorcycle (frame, silencers, frame works,
shock absorbers etc.) and for the correct operation of the illumination system (lights) is preserved respecting the given cautions. Also
check that the panniers do not hinder the pillion seat. If any problem arises, for ex. fitting problems or for any further question, never make
changes by yourself, but always contact the producer, an agent or a dealer. Under no circumstances should damaged cases and damaged
fitting kits be reutilized.
IMPORTANT FITTING INFORMATION
Um Sie als Fahrer und Ihr Fahrzeug vor Schäden zu bewahren, bitten wir Sie, folgendes zu beachten: Da unser Produkt sich aus einer
Vielzahl von Einzelteilen zusammen setzt, kann es durch die Schweißpunkte und Nähte, sowie durch die Toleranzen am Motorradrahmen
zu Schwierigkeiten bei der Montage vorkommen. Daher kann es vorkommen, daß sowohl durch die Schweißpunkte und Nähte, als auch
durch die Toleranzen am Motorradrahmen, Schwierigkeiten bei der Montage auftreten können. Um einen korrekten Anbau zu gewährlei-
sten, empfehlen wir Ihnen, sich an qualifizierte Fachhändler zu wenden und sorgfältig zu prüfen, daß durch den Anbau keine Originalteile
des Motorrades beschädigt oder deren Funktionsweise beeinträchtigt werden (Rahmen, Auspuff, Stoßdämpfer etc). Die Funktion der
Beleuchtungseinrichtung muß vorschriftsgemäß gewährleistet werden. Außerdem überprüfen Sie bitte, dass die Sitzposition des
Beifahrers nicht durch die Seitenkoffer beeinträchtigt wird. KAPPA haftet nicht für Schäden durch fehlerhafte Montage oder Bedienung.
Sollte ein Mangel des Produktes vor oder während der Montage festgestellt werden, garantiert KAPPA einen kostenlosen Umtausch. Falls
irgenwelche Probleme entstehen sollten, (z.B. bei der Montage) sollten keinesfalls Änderungen aus eigener Hand durchführt werden.
Wenden Sie sich in diesem Fall an den Hersteller, Vertreter oder Händler. In durchgeführt Form beschädigte Koffer oder Montage-Kits
dürfen nicht mehr verwendet werden.
WICHTIGE HINWEISE ZUR MONTAGE
Afin de guider l'utilisateur et éviter tout dommage à la moto, nous aimerions vous rappeler que nos produits sont le résultat d'un assem-

motos peuvent donner lieu à un mauvais montage. Pour un assemblage parfait, nous vous suggérons de vous adresser à l'un de nos
revendeurs spécialisés et de vérifier attentivement qu'aucun élément du kit de montage ne vienne géner l'une des parties originales de la
moto (cadre, silencieux, carénage, amortisseurs,.....) et que les feux soient bien visibles aux termes de la loi et non pas cachés par les vali-
ses. Assurez-vous que la place du passager ne soit pas gênée par les valises latérales. KAPPA n’ai pas responsable des dommages qui
peuvent être provoqués par le montage ou l’utilisation erronés fait par du personnel non qualifié. La garantie prévoit exclusivement le rem-
placement gratuit des pièces de production de KAPPA qui sont défectueuses. Dans le cas où vous avez des problèmes, par exemple diffi-
cultés de montage ou questions à poser, ne modifiez rien, mais adressez-vous au fabricant, à l’un de ses agents ou à un revendeur. Les
bagages ou kits de montage endommagés ne doivent jamais être réutilisés.

Con la intención de protejer al usuario y evitar el daño de la estructura original de la moto se tendria que tener en cuenta. Nuestro produc-
to és el resultado de una mezcla de varios componentes. Por consiguiente puntos de soldadura en los angulos, asi como los diferentes
chasis de la motocicleta pueden provocar algunas dificultades. Para un procedimiento correcto les sugerimos que acuda a personal cuali-
ficado que revisara cuidadosamente que los componentes del kit no interfieran o contacten negativamente con las piezas originales de la
moto (estructura, silenciador, amortiguadores, etc...) y quel el sistema de funcionamiento de luces este garantizado. Asegurarse que bel
lugar del pasajero no sea obstaculizado por las maletas laterales. KAPPA no se hara responsable de los daños causados por un incorrecto
montaje y puesta a punto por un personal no cualificado o mecánico. La garantia cubre exclusivamente el reemplazo de los artículos de la
producción de KAPPA, los cuales no presentan apriori defectos de montaje. En el caso que urgan problemas en el montaje o consultas , no
efectuar ninguna modificación, dirigirse al fabricante, a su representante o una tienda especializada, los baúles y kit de anclaje dañados no
son reutilizados.
