und der Sicherheitshinweise können Schä-
den am Gerät und Gefahren für den Bedie-
ner und andere Personen entstehen.

Umweltschutz
Die Verpackungsmaterialien
sind recyclebar. Bitte werfen Sie
die Verpackungen nicht in den
Hausmüll, sondern führen Sie
diese einer Wiederverwertung
zu.
Altgeräte enthalten wertvolle re-
cyclingfähige Materialien, die ei-
ner Verwertung zugeführt
werden sollten. Batterien, Öl und
ähnliche Stoffe dürfen nicht in
die Umwelt gelangen. Bitte ent-
sorgen Sie Altgeräte deshalb
über geeignete Sammelsyste-
me.

Hinweis
Wir empfehlen, zusätzlich zur Papierfilter-
tüte unseren Anbausatz Mikrofilter einzu-
setzen (siehe Sonderzubehör). BIA
Kategorie C, Abscheidegrad sicher größer
als 99,9%. Damit können auch besonders
feine, gesundheitsgefährdende Stäube ab-
gesaugt werden. Der Austausch des Mikro-
filters soll dann erfolgen, wenn die
Saugleistung trotz neuer Papierfiltertüte
ungenügend ist.
ÎBeide Schrauben an den Seiten des
Saugeroberteils herausschrauben.
ÎSaugeroberteil in senkrechter Position
auf den Bürstkopf stecken.
ÎBeide Aluminiumprofile in die vorgese-
henen Aussparungen am Saugerober-
teil einführen und mit den Schrauben
befestigen.
ÎVerbindungsschlauch an Bürstkopf und
Saugeroberteil anschließen.
ÎVerbindungskabel mit Stecker in Steck-
dose am Saugeroberteil stecken (Ste-
cker muß hörbar einrasten).
ÎNetzkabel des Gerätes zwischen dem
oberen und dem unteren Kabelhalter
aufwickeln.
ÎKomplettes Netzkabel durch Drehen
des unteren Kabelhalters entnehmen.

Beschädigungsgefahr! Mit der sich drehen-
den Bürste nicht über das Netzkabel fah-
ren. Das Gerät über Treppen und hohe
Schwellen tragen.
Der Bürstkopf besitzt eine Gelenkraste die
das Gerät in der senkrechten Ruhestellung
arretiert.

ÎGerät einschalten.
Hinweis
Die Bürste schaltet sich automatisch ein,
wenn das Handrohr fest im Motorgehäuse
sitzt. Bitte prüfen!
ÎHandrohr aus dem Motorgehäuse zie-
hen. Bürste schaltet automatisch ab.
ÎFugen- oder Polsterdüse auf das Hand-
rohr aufstecken.
ÎReinigungsarbeiten mit dem Handrohr
durchführen.
Hinweis
Ohne aufgesteckte Fugen- oder Polsterdü-
se darf mit dem Handrohr nicht gearbeitet
werden (Abnutzung des Handrohrs führt zu
Störungen, siehe Störungshilfe).
ÎNach Beendigung der Reinigungsarbei-
ten, Handrohr senkrecht in das Motor-
gehäuse stecken.
Die Bürste lässt sich an die Florhöhe des
Teppichs anpassen.
ÎGerät in Arbeitsstellung bringen (ca.
45°).
ÎGewünschte Position zwischen 1 und 4
mit dem Stellknopf wählen.
– Position 1: niedriger Flor
– Position 4: hoher Flor
Hinweis
In Ruhestellung des Gerätes kann keine
Einstellung erfolgen.
Die elektronische Bürstenkontrolle über-
wacht ständig das Arbeiten der Bürste.
–Kein Licht
Bürste arbeitet ordnungsgemäß.
–Oranges Licht leuchtet
Stellknopf für Florhöhe auf niedrigere
Florhöhe einstellen.
–Oranges Licht leuchtet auch bei
niedrigster Stufe
Bürstenstreifen wechseln.
Leuchtet die Kontrolllampe rot auf, bitte
prüfen:
A Ist die Filtertüte voll?
B Ist der Saug- oder Verbindungs-
schlauch verstopft?
ÎFiltertüte wechseln oder Verstopfungen
beseitigen.
Hinweis
Es liegt keine Störung vor, wenn beim Sau-
gen mit dem Saugschlauch das Handrohr
verschlossen wird und dabei die Kontroll-
lampe aufleuchtet.

ÎDeckelverschluss drücken und Deckel
abnehmen.
ÎFiltertütensicherung nach links schie-
ben, bis sich die Filtertüte vom Stutzen
abziehen lässt.
ÎHaltepappe der neuen Filtertüte mit der
schmalen Seite rechts in die Halterung
einführen.
ÎFiltertütensicherung nach links schie-
ben und Haltepappe über den Stutzen
nach oben führen bis sie einrastet.
ÎDeckel aufsetzen.
Hinweis
Schließt der Deckel nicht, prüfen ob die Fil-
tertüte richtig eingesetzt ist.
Nach ca. 20 Filtertütenwechseln muss der
Sicherheitsfilter gewechselt werden.
ÎDeckelverschluss drücken und Deckel
abnehmen.
ÎRote Arretierung anheben und Sicher-
heitsfilter herausziehen.
ÎNeuen Sicherheitsfilter einschieben.
Hinweis
Schließt der Deckel nicht, prüfen ob der Si-
cherheitsfilter richtig eingesetzt ist.
Nach ca. 20 Filtertütenwechseln muss der
Ausblasfilter gewechselt werden.
ÎAusblasfilter vom Gehäuse wegdrücken
und herausziehen.
ÎNeuen Ausblasfilter einsetzen.
ÎAbdeckung vom Bürstkopf abschrau-
ben.
ÎBürste so drehen, dass sich der Bürs-
tenstreifen durch die Öffnung heraus-
schieben bzw. herausziehen lässt.
ÎNeuen Bürstenstreifen ganz einschie-
ben.

ÎNetzstecker ziehen.
ÎBürste auf Verunreinigungen prüfen
und gegebenenfalls blockierende Ge-
genstände entfernen.
ÎGerät einschalten.
ÎNetzstecker ziehen.
ÎVerstopfte Filter austauschen oder
Saugschlauchverstopfung beseitigen.
Nach ca. 20 Minuten ist das Gerät wie-
der einsatzbereit.
ÎGerät ausschalten.
ÎSaugschlauch aus dem Gehäuse neh-
men und gerade ziehen.
ÎVerstopfung im Schlauch mit längli-
chem Gegenstand lösen.
Lässt sich die Verstopfung noch immer
nicht beseitigen, folgendermaßen vorge-
hen:
ÎDurch Drücken des Sperrhebels, Saug-
schlauch vom Gerät trennen.
ÎSaugschlauch vom Handrohr am Ge-
windeteil herausdrehen.
ÎVerbindungsschlauch durch Herauszie-
hen der beiden Enden entnehmen.
ÎVerstopfung beseitigen.
ÎSaugeroberteil mit Bürstkopf verbinden.
ÎVerbindungsschlauch an Bürstkopf und
Saugeroberteil anschließen.
ÎVerbindungskabel mit Stecker in Steck-
dose am Saugeroberteil stecken (Ste-
cker muß hörbar einrasten).
ÎHandrohr senkrecht in das Motorgehäu-
se stecken.
Bei abgenutztem Rohrende (Arbeiten ohne
aufgesteckter Fugen- oder Polsterdüse)
wird der Endschalter nicht mehr betätigt,
die Bürsten drehen sich nicht.

spitzen Gegenstand (z. B. Schrauben-
dreher) entriegeln.
ÎVerbindungskabel lösen.
ÎVerbindungsschlauch durch Herauszie-
hen der beiden Enden entnehmen.
ÎBeide Schrauben an den Seiten des
Saugeroberteils herausschrauben.

dienststelle.

Note
We recommend that you use our microfilter
attachment set along with the paper bag
(see special accessories). BIA category C,
separation level safety greater than 99.9%.
This can help in sucking even extremely fine
dust particles that can be harmful to health.
The microfilter should be replaced when the
suction performance is poor despite chang-
ing the paper bag.
ÎRemove both the screws located on the
sides of the upper part of the vacuum
cleaner.
ÎInsert the upper part of the vacuum
cleaner in a vertical position on to the
brush head.
ÎInsert both the aluminium profiles into
the recesses provided at the upper part
of the vacuum cleaner and fasten them
with the screws.
ÎConnect the connecting hose to the
brush head and the upper part of the
vacuum cleaner.
ÎInsert the connection chord with plug into
the socket at the upper part of the vacu-
um cleaner (you must be able to hear the
plug locking in).
ÎWind the mains cable of the appliance
between the upper and lower cable hold-
er.
ÎRemove the entire mains cable by turn-
ing the lower cable holder.
몇Warning
Risk of damage! Do not move the appliance
over the mains cable when the brushes are
rotating. Carry the appliance over the steps
and high thresholds.
The brush head is equipped with a hinged
lock that stops the appliance in the vertical
resting position.
ÎTo resume working, step on the locking
pedal and tilt the appliance backwards.

ÎTurn on the appliance.
Note
The brush switches on automatically when
the hand pipe sits firmly into the motor cas-
ing. Please check!
ÎPull out the hand pipe from the motor
casing. The brush will switch off auto-
matically.
ÎMount the joints or upholstery nozzle on
the hand pipe.
ÎCarry out the cleaning tasks using the
hand pipe.
Note
Do not work with the hand pipe without at-
taching the joint or upholstery nozzle (if the
hand pipe gets worn out it will hamper the
working of the machine, see section on trou-
bleshooting).
ÎAfter completing the cleaning jobs, insert
the hand pipe vertically into the motor
casing.
The brush can be adjusted to match the pile
height of the carpet.
ÎBring the appliance to a working position
(approx. 45°)
ÎSelect desired position between 1 and 4
using the adjustment knob.
– Position 1: low pile
– Position 4: high pile
Note
No adjustment can be done when the appli-
ance is in resting position.
The electronic brush control continuously
monitors the working of the brush.
–No light
Brush is working properly.
–Orange light is glowing
Set the adjustment knob for pile height to
the lower pile height.
–Orange light also glows at lowest lev-
el

If the indicator lamp glows red, check the fol-
lowing:
A Is the filter bag full?
B Is the suction or connection hose
blocked?
ÎReplace filter bag or remove the block-
age.
Note
There is no problem if the handpipe closes
when you are vacuum cleaning using the
suction hose and hence the indicator lamp
start to glow.
ÎPress the lid cover and remove the lid.
ÎPush the filter bag lock towards the left
until the filter bag can be removed from
the support.
ÎInsert the holder strip of the new filter
bag into the holder with the narrow side
towards the right.
ÎMove the filter bag lock towards the left
and push the holder strip over the sup-
port upwards until it locks in.
ÎReplace the lid.
Note
If the lid does not close, check whether the
filter bag has been inserted properly.
The safety filter must be replaced after you
have replaced the filter bag approx. 20
times.
ÎPress the lid cover and remove the lid.
ÎLift the red lock and pull out the safety fil-
ter.
ÎInsert the new safety filter.
Note
If the lid does not close, check whether the
safety filter has been inserted properly.
The blower filter must be replaced after you
have replaced the filter bag approx. 20
times.
ÎPush away the blower filter from the cas-
ing and remove it.
ÎInsert new blower filter.

ÎUnscrew the cover of the brush head.
ÎTurn the brush in such a way that you
can push out the brush strip through the
opening or rather pull it out through the
opening.
ÎInsert the new brush strip completely.
ÎScrew on the cover.
ÎPull out the mains plug.
ÎCheck brush to see if there are impurities
and remove blocking objects, if any.
ÎTurn on the appliance.
ÎPull out the mains plug.
ÎReplace blocked filters or remove block-
ages from the suction hose.
The appliance is ready for use after ap-
prox. 20 minutes.
ÎTurn off the appliance.
ÎRemove the suction hose from the cas-
ing and straighten it.
ÎRemove the blockage using a long ob-
ject.
If the blockage cannot still be removed, pro-
ceed as follows:
ÎPress the locking lever and remove the
suction hose from the machine.
ÎRotate the suction hose at the threaded
part and remove it from the hand pipe.
ÎRemove the connecting hose by turning
both the ends.
ÎRemove the blockage.

ÎConnect the upper part of the vacuum
cleaner with the brush head.
ÎConnect the connecting hose to the
brush head and the upper part of the
vacuum cleaner.
ÎInsert the connection chord with plug into
the socket at the upper part of the vacu-
um cleaner (you must be able to hear the
plug locking in).
ÎInsert the hand pipe vertically into the
motor casing.
If the pipe end is worn out (happens when
you work without attaching the joint or uphol-
stery nozzle), the end switch does not get
activated and the brushes do not rotate.
ÎReplace hand pipe.
ÎUnlock the plug by pressing it in with a
sharp object (for e.g. screw driver).
ÎLoosen the connecting cable.
ÎRemove the connecting hose by turning
both the ends.
ÎRemove both the screws located on the
sides of the upper part of the vacuum
cleaner.
The warranty terms published by our com-
petent sales company are applicable in each
country. We will repair potential failures of
your appliance within the warranty period
free of charge, provided that such failure is
caused by faulty material or defects in fabri-
cation. In the event of a warranty claim
please contact your dealer or the nearest
authorized Customer Service center. Please
submit the proof of purchase.
– Only use accessories and spare parts
which have been approved by the manu-
facturer. The exclusive use of original ac-
cessories and original spare parts
ensures that the appliance can be oper-
ated safely and troublefree.
– At the end of the operating instructions
you will find a selected list of spare parts
that are often required.

Les matériaux constitutifs de
l’emballage sont recyclables. Ne
pas jeter les emballages dans
les ordures ménagères, mais les
remettre à un système de recy-
clage.
Les appareils usés contiennent
des matériaux précieux recycla-
bles lesquels doivent être appor-
tés à un système de recyclage. Il
est interdit de jeter les batteries,
l'huile et les substances similai-
res dans l'environnement. Pour
cette raison, utiliser des systè-
mes de collecte adéquats afin
d'éliminer les appareils usés.

Remarque
Nous recommandons de mettre additionne-
ment au papier filtre notre kit de annexe mi-
crofiltre (cf. accessoires spéciales). BIA
catégorie C, degré de évacuation plus haute
que 99,9%. Avec cela peuvent être aussi as-
piré des poussières fines et dangereuses
pour la santé. Le changement du microfiltre
doit être effectué, lorsque la performance
d'aspiration est insuffisante malgré un nou-
veau sac de papier filtre.
ÎDévisser les deux vises à la côté de la
partie supérieure d'aspiration.
ÎPlacer la partie supérieure d'aspiration
verticalement sur la tête de brosse.
ÎIntroduire les deux profils d'aluminium
dans l'ouverture prévue à la partie supé-
rieure d'aspiration et fixer avec les vises.
ÎBrancher le flexible de raccordement à la
tête de brosse et à la partie supérieure
d'aspiration.
ÎBrancher le câble de raccordement avec
fiche avec la douille (la fiche doit enclen-
cher audiblement).
ÎEnrouler le câble secteur de l'appareil
entre le support de câble supérieur et in-
férieur.
ÎEn tournant le support de câble inférieur,
retirer complètement le câble secteur.
몇Avertissement
Risque d'endommagement! Ne pas rouler
sur le câble d'alimentation avec les brosses
rotatives en mouvement. Toujours porter
l'appareil pour passer des marches d'esca-
liers ou des seuils élevés.
La tête de brosse dispose d'un encoche de
joint, que maintient l'appareil dans la posi-
tion verticale de repos.
ÎPour pouvoir travailler, presser la pédale
d'encoche et bascule l'appareil vers l'ar-
rière.

ÎAllumer l’appareil.
Remarque
La brosse se met automatiquement en mar-
che, lorsque le tuyau à main est placé soli-
dement dans l'enveloppe. Veuillez vérifier!
ÎRetirer le tuyau à mains d'enveloppe. La
brosse se met automatiquement hors
service.
ÎPoser la buse pour les joints ou le cous-
sin sur le tuyau à main.
ÎEffectuer des travaux de nettoyage avec
le tuyau à main.
Remarque
Ne pas travailler avec le tuyau à mains sans
buse pour les joints ou le coussin posé (usu-
re du tuyau à main peut provoqué des pan-
nes, cf. Aide en cas de panne).
ÎAprès les travaux de nettoyage, mettre le
tuyau à main verticalement dans l'enve-
loppe.
La brosse peut être adaptée à l'hauteur de
voile de la moquette.
ÎPositionner l'appareil en position fonc-
tionnelle (environ 45°).
ÎSélectionner la position souhaitée entre
1 et 4 avec le bouton de réglage.
– Position 1: Voile basse
– Position 4: Voile haute
Remarque
Un réglage ne peut être effectué, lorsque
l'appareil se trouve en position de repos.
Le contrôle électronique de la brosse contrô-
le permanemment le fonctionnement de la
brosse.
–Pas de lumière
La brosse travaille réglementairement.
–Lumière orange s'allume
Régler le bouton de réglage pou l'hau-
teur de voile sur l'hauteur plus basse de
voile.
–Lumière orange s'allume aussi au ni-
veau bas
Changer les bandes de la brosse.
