OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1) Open the battery compartment (4) by pressing and lifting the clip(5).
2) Lift the cover (6) and insert 8 batteries (C ) respecting the indicated polarities.
We suggest using only alkaline batteries, which give longer autonomy. The
megaphone is also endowed with a socket for external DC 12V power. Make sure
to use the right connector with positive internal polarity.
3) Close the cover (4) and lock it through the specific clip (5).
4) Position the rotating volume control (14) about halfway.
Use of the megaphone by handgrip
- Make sure that the microphone connected to the spiral cable is fixed on the back
of the megaphone and that the button (15) is set on "SPEAK". Press the "SPEECH"
button (8). The megaphone is now ready for use. Hold the megaphone using the
handle, bring it about 2-3 cm from the mouth and press the activation button (17).
The led (9) will light up.
- If you don't press the "speech" (8) button and you position the switch (15) on
"SIREN", the megaphone will produce a very loud sound, similar to a siren, useful
for emergency alarms. The siren function's volume cannot be adjusted.
- If you don't press the "speech" (8) button and you position the switch (15) on
"WHISTLE", the megaphone will produce a very loud sound, similar to a whistle,
useful for emergency alarms or to draw attention. The whistle function's volume
cannot be adjusted.
Use of the megaphone worn on shoulder
- The megaphone can also be worn on the shoulder using the carry strap(16). In
this case the microphone must be disconnected from the megaphone and activated
by setting the button (13) to "on". The led (9) will light up. Make sure that the button
(15) is placed on "SPEAK". To speak or to stop the amplification you have to use
"SPEECH" button (8).
- By switching the selector (15) on "SIREN" or "WHISTLE", you will activate one of
the two emergency alarms. The effect's volume cannot be adjusted. You can stop it
also by using button (13).
