IMPORTANTI ISTRUZIONI DI SICUREZZA
Durante l’uso del ferro da stiro, è importante rispettare
le norme di sicurezza di base.
LEGGERE TUTTE LE ISTRUZIONI PRIMA DELL’USO
1. Usare l’apparecchio solo per l’uso cui è stato
destinato.
2. Il ferro da stiro non è un giocattolo. Tenere fuori
dalla portata dei bambini.
3. Per evitare il rischio di folgorazione, non immergere
il ferro da stiro in acqua o in qualsiasi altro liquido.
4. Impostare il ferro da stiro sempre su “OFF” prima di
collegarlo o scollegarlo dalla presa. Non tirare mai
il cavo di alimentazione per toglierlo dalla presa;
invece, a󰀨errare lo spinotto e tirarlo per scollegarlo
dalla presa.
5. Il cavo di alimentazione non deve mai toccare
superci calde. Lasciare ra󰀨reddare il ferro da stiro
prima di riporlo. Avvolgere il cavo attorno al ferro
quando lo si ripone.
6. Scollegare sempre il ferro dalla presa di corrente
quando si riempie o si svuota il serbatoio dell’acqua
e quando non è in uso.
7. Non usare il ferro da stiro se il cavo o la spina sono
danneggiati o se l’elettrodomestico è caduto o è
danneggiato. Per evitare il rischio di folgorazione,
non smontare o cercare di riparare il ferro da stiro,
ma portarlo presso un tecnico qualicato. Un
riassemblaggio non corretto può portare al rischio
di folgorazione quando si usa il ferro.
8. È necessario sorvegliare i bambini quando si
trovano in prossimità dell’elettrodomestico. Non

lasciare il ferro da stiro incustodito quando è in
funzione o quando si trova sull’asse da stiro.
9. Si possono vericare ustioni a contatto con parti
metalliche calde, acqua calda o vapore. Prestare
attenzione quando si capovolge un ferro da stiro
a vapore - potrebbe esserci acqua calda nel
serbatoio.
10. Se l'indicatore di malfunzionamento si accende,
signica che il ferro da stiro non funziona
correttamente. Scollegarlo dalla presa di corrente e
far riparare il ferro da personale tecnico qualicato.
11. Per evitare un sovraccarico di circuito, non
utilizzare un altro apparecchio ad alta potenza sullo
stesso circuito.
12. Se è assolutamente necessario utilizzare una
prolunga, utilizzare un cavo da 10 ampere. I cavi
classicati per minore amperaggio potrebbero
surriscaldarsi. Prestare attenzione a disporre il
cavo in modo che non sia tirato o che non intralci il
passaggio.
NON lasciare usare il ferro da stiro a persone che non
sanno usarlo a meno che non sorvegliati.
NON immergere MAI il ferro da stiro, il cavo o la spina
nell’acqua.
NON appoggiare il ferro da stiro caldo sui tessuti o su
superci altamente inammabili.
NON lasciare il ferro da stiro collegato alla presa di
corrente inutilmente. Scollegarlo dalla presa quando
non è utilizzato.
NON toccare il ferro da stiro con le mani bagnate.

NON tirare il cavo di alimentazione per estrarre la spina
dalla presa.
NON lasciare l'apparecchio esposto alle intemperie
(pioggia, sole, ecc.). L'articolo è destinato
esclusivamente all'uso domestico.
NON lasciare il ferro da stiro incustodito quando è
connesso alla presa di corrente.
NON riempire il serbatoio di acqua prima di estrarre a
spina dalla presa di corrente.
ATTENZIONE!
Non utilizzare additivi chimici, sostanze profumate o
decalcicanti. La non osservanza delle norme sopra
menzionate comporta la perdita della garanzia.

SISTEMA ANTI-CALCARE
• Uno speciale ltro in resina posto all'interno del serbatoio dell'acqua
addolcisce l'acqua e impedisce l'accumulo di calcare nella piastra. Il ltro
in resina è permanente e non deve essere sostituito.
• Si ricorda di:
• Usare solo acqua del rubinetto. L’acqua distillata e/o demineralizzata
rende ine󰀩cace il sistema anti-calcare “Zero-Calc”, alterando le sue
caratteristiche sico-chimiche.
• Non utilizzare additivi chimici, sostanze profumate o decalcicanti. La
non osservanza delle norme sopra menzionate comporta la perdita della
garanzia.
SISTEMA ANTI-GOCCIA
• Con il sistema anti-goccia, è possibile stirare anche i tessuti più delicati.
• Stirare questi tessuti a bassa temperatura. La piastra può ra󰀨reddarsi no
al punto in cui non fuoriesce più vapore, ma potrebbero prodursi delle
gocce di acqua bollente che possono lasciare segni o macchie. In questi
casi, il sistema anti-goccia si attiva automaticamente per prevenire la
vaporizzazione, in modo da poter stirare i tessuti più delicati senza rischio
di rovinarli o macchiarli.
ISTRUZIONI GENERALI
• Quando si utilizza il ferro da stiro per la prima volta, si può notare del fumo
uscire dal ferro e sentire dei suoni emessi dalla plastica in espansione.
Questo è normale e si interrompe dopo poco tempo. Si consiglia inoltre di
passare il ferro su un panno normale prima di utilizzarlo per la prima volta.
PREPARAZIONE
Dividere il bucato da stirare secondo i simboli internazionali sull'etichetta del
capo o, se non ci fosse, in base al tipo di tessuto.

Iniziare a stirare i capi che richiedono una bassa temperatura.
Questo riduce i tempi di attesa (il ferro impiega meno tempo a riscaldarsi che
a ra󰀨reddarsi) ed elimina il rischio di bruciare il tessuto.
STIRATURA A VAPORE
Riempire il serbatoio
- Staccare la spina dalla presa.
- Spostare il selettore del vapore (D) su “ ” [Fig. 1].
- Aprire lo sportello del serbatoio (C).
- Sollevare la punta del ferro per aiutare l'acqua a entrare nell'apertura senza
che fuoriesca.
- Versare lentamente l'acqua nel serbatoio no alla misura indicata, facendo
attenzione a non superare il livello massimo (circa 280 ml) indicato dal segno
“MAX” sul serbatoio [Fig. 2].
- Chiudere lo sportello del serbatoio (C).
Selezionare la temperatura.
- Mettere il ferro in posizione verticale.
- Inserire la spina nella presa.
- Regolare la manopola del termostato (I) secondo il simbolo internazionale
sull'etichetta del capo [Fig. 3]. La spia luminosa (L) indica che il ferro si sta
riscaldando. Attendere no allo spegnimento della spia di controllo della
temperatura della piastra prima di iniziare a stirare.
Attenzione: durante la stiratura, la spia di controllo della temperatura
della piastra (L) si accende a intervalli, indicando che si sta mantenendo la
temperatura selezionata. Se si abbassa la temperatura del termostato dopo
aver stirato ad alta temperatura, non iniziare a stirare nché la spia di controllo
della temperatura della piastra non si riaccende.

Selezionare il vapore.
La quantità di vapore che fuoriesce è regolata dal selettore del vapore (D).
- Spostare il selettore del vapore a una posizione tra minimo e massimo sulla
base della quantità del vapore desiderato e della temperatura selezionata.
[Fig. 1].
Attenzione: il ferro emette vapore continuamente solo se lo si tiene in
posizione orizzontale. Si può interrompere il getto di vapore continuo tenendo
il ferro in posizione verticale o spostando il selettore del vapore su “
”. Come indicato sulla manopola del termostato (I) e nella tabella iniziale, è
possibile far fuoriuscire il vapore solo quando la temperatura è più elevata. Se
la temperatura selezionata è troppo bassa, l’acqua potrebbe gocciolare sulla
piastra.
- Selezionare il getto di vapore e il vapore durante la stiratura verticale.
- Premere il pulsante del getto di vapore (F) per generare un potente getto di
vapore che può penetrare nei tessuti e stirare le pieghe più di󰀩cili. Aspettare
alcuni secondi prima di schiacciarlo ancora [Fig. 4].
- Premendo il pulsante del getto di vapore a intervalli è anche possibile stirare
verticalmente (tende, indumenti appesi, ecc.) [Fig. 5].
Attenzione: la funzione getto di vapore può essere utilizzata solo a
temperature elevate. Interrompere il getto di vapore quando si accende la spia
di controllo della temperatura della piastra (L), quindi ricominciare a stirare
solo dopo lo spegnimento della luce.
STIRATURA A SECCO
Per stirare senza vapore, seguire le istruzioni nella sezione “stiratura a
vapore”, lasciando il selezionatore del vapore (D) in posizione “ ”.
FUNZIONE SPRAY
Assicurarsi che ci sia acqua nel serbatoio. Premere lentamente il pulsante di
rilascio del vapore (E) per unoa vaporizzazione più densa e velocemente per
una vaporizzazione ad hoc [Fig. 6].
Attenzione: per i delicati, si consiglia prima di inumidire il tessuto utilizzando la
funzione spray (E) o di mettere un panno umido tra ferro e tessuto. Per evitare
macchie, non utilizzare lo spray su tessuti di seta o sintetici.
PULIZIA
• Nota: prima di pulire il ferro da stiro, assicurarsi di staccare la spina

dell’apparecchio dalla presa di corrente.
• Eventuali depositi, residui di amido rimasti sulla piastra possono essere
rimossi con un panno umido o un detergente liquido non abrasivo.
• Evitare di gra󰀩are la piastra utilizzando pagliette d'acciaio o oggetti
metallici.
• Le parti in plastica possono essere pulite con un panno umido, passandoci
poi sopra un panno asciutto.
FUNZIONE AUTOPULENTE
La funzione autopulente permette di pulire l’interno della piastra, rimuovendo
le impurità. Si raccomanda di usare questa funzione ogni 10-15 giorni.
Istruzioni:
-Riempire il serbatoio no al livello massimo indicato e regolare il selettore del
vapore (D) su “ ”.
- Impostare la manopola del termostato (I) alla temperatura massima e
attendere che la luce (L) si spenga.
- Estrarre la spina dalla presa e tenere il ferro da stiro in orizzontale sopra il
lavandino.
- Tenere premuto il pulsante di attivazione della funzione auto-pulente (J) no
a quando fuoriescono tutta l'acqua bollente, il vapore e le impurità [Fig. 7].
- Quando la piastra si è ra󰀨reddata, è possibile pulirla con un panno umido.
USO SENZA FILI
• Oltre che al tipico utilizzo con il cavo, è anche possibile usare il ferro da
stiro a vapore senza cavo per un breve periodo. Basta staccare il cavo dal
ferro da stiro. Per separare il ferro da stiro a vapore dalla base del cavo,
far scorrere l'interruttore in posizione di sblocco. In questo modo il ferro a
vapore può essere usato senza il cavo.
• Nota: il ferro da stiro non può essere riscaldato senza la base del cavo,
quindi può funzionare solo per un breve periodo senza il cavo.
• Ricollegare il ferro da stiro alla base del cavo non appena il getto di
vapore diminuisce.
• Per ricollegare il ferro da stiro a vapore con la base del cavo, inserire il
ferro da stiro a vapore nella base del cavo e far scorrere l'interruttore in
posizione di blocco.
ATTENZIONE: il vapore della piastra è caldo. Prestare sempre la
massima attenzione durante l'uso del ferro senza li, durante le operazioni di
connessione e disconnessione.

- Staccare la spina del ferro dalla presa.
- Svuotare il serbatoio capovolgendo il ferro e scuotendolo delicatamente.
- Lasciare ra󰀨reddare il ferro.
- Arrotolare il cavo di alimentazione con l’avvolgicavo [Fig. 8].
- Mettere sempre il ferro in posizione verticale.
CONSIGLI PER UNA BUONA STIRATURA
• Si consiglia di utilizzare la temperatura più bassa con tessuti con niture
insolite (lustrini, ricami, ecc .).
• Se il tessuto è misto (ad esempio 40% cotone, 60% sintetico), regolare il
termostato sulla temperatura del tessuto che richiede la temperatura più
bassa.
• Se non si conosce la composizione del tessuto, scegliere la temperatura
adatta eseguendo un test su un angolino del capo che non si vedrà una
volta indossato. Iniziare con una temperatura più bassa e aumentare
gradualmente no a raggiungere la temperatura ideale.
• Non stirare mai aree con tracce di sudore o altri segni: il calore della
piastra ssa le macchie sul tessuto, rendendole impossibili da eliminare.
• La dimensione è più e󰀩cace se si utilizza un ferro da stiro a temperatura
moderata: il calore in eccesso lo brucia con il rischio di lasciare un segno
giallo.
• Per evitare di lasciare dei segni sui capi lucidi in seta, lana o sintetici, è
necessario stirarli al rovescio.
• Per evitare di lasciare dei segni sui capi lucidi in velluto, è necessario
stirarli in una sola direzione (seguendo le bre) e non schiacciare il ferro.
• Più viene caricata la lavatrice, più i capi vengono fuori spiegazzati. Questo
succede anche quando la velocità della centrifuga della lavatrice è troppo
alta.
• Molti tessuti sono più facili da stirare quando non sono completamente
asciutti.
• Per esempio, la seta dovrebbe sempre essere stirata quando il tessuto è
umido.

separata. Il simbolo sopra indicato e riportato sull’apparecchiatura indica che il riuto
deve essere oggetto di “raccolta separata”. I dispositivi elettrici ed elettronici non
devono essere considerati riuti domestici. Pertanto, il prodotto alla ne della sua vita
utile, non deve essere smaltito insieme ai riuti urbani. L’utente dovrà conferire (o far

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using your at iron, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
1. Use iron only for its intended use.
2. The iron is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
3. To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not
immerse the iron in water or other liquids.
4. The iron should always be turned to‘ O󰀨 ’before
plugging or unplugging from outlet. Never yank cord
to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and
pull to disconnect.
5. Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Let iron cool
completely before putting away. Loop cord loosely
around iron when storing.
6. Always disconnect iron from electrical outlet when
lling with water or emptying and when not in use.
7. Do not operate iron with a damaged cord or if the
iron has been dropped or damaged. To avoid the risk
of electric shock, do not disassemble the iron take it
to a qualied serviceman for examination and repair.
Incorrect reassembly can cause a risk of electric
shock when the iron is used.
8. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance
being near children. Do not leave iron unattended
while connected or on an ironing board.
9. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot
water, or steam. Use caution when you turn a steam
iron upside down – there may be hot water in the
reservoir. If the malfunction indicator goes on, the
atiron is not operating normally. Disconnect from

the power supply and have the atiron serviced by
qualied service personnel.
10. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another
high wattage appliance on the same circuit.
11. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a
10-ampere cord should be used. Cords rated for less
amperage may overheat. Care should be taken to
arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped
over.
DO NOT let untrained persons use the appliance
without supervision.
NEVER immerse the iron, cable or plug in any liquid.
DO NOT leave the hot iron touching fabrics or very
inammable surfaces.
DO NOT leave the appliance unnecessarily plugged in.
Disconnect the plug from the mains when the appliance
is not being used.
NEVER touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
DO NOT use the power cord or the appliance in order
to pull the plug out of the socket.
DO NOT leave the appliance exposed to the weather
(rain, sun, etc. ). The item is meant for domestic use
only.
DO NOT leave the iron without supervision when it is
connected to the power supply.
DO NOT ll the reservoir with water before removing
the plug from the socket.

ANTI-CALC SYSTEM
• A special resin lter inside the water reservoir softens the water and
prevents scale build-up in the plate. The resin lter is permanent and does
not need replacing.
• Please note:
• Use tap water only. Distilled and/demineralised water makes the
“Zero-Calc” anti-calc system ine󰀨ective by altering its physicochemical
characteristics.
• Do not use chemical additives, scented substances or decalciers. Failure
to comply with the above-mentioned regulations leads to the loss of
guarantee.

ANTI-DRIP SYSTEM
• With the anti-drip system, you can perfectly iron even the most delicate
fabrics.
• Always iron these fabrics at low temperatures. The plate may cool down
to the point where no more steam comes out, but rather drops of boiling
water that can leave marks or stains. In these cases, the Anti-drip system
automatically activates to prevent vaporization, so that you can iron the
most delicate fabrics without risk of spoiling or staining them.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
• When using the iron for the rst time, you may notice a slight emission of
smoke and hear some sounds made by the expanding plastics. This is
quite normal and it stops after a short time. It’s also recommended to pass
the iron over an ordinary cloth before using it for the rst time.
PREPARATIONS
Soft the laundry to be ironed according to the international symbols on the
garment label, or if this is missing, according to the type of fabric.

Start ironing the garments requiring a low temperature.
This reduces the waiting times (the iron takes less time to heat up than to cool
down) and eliminates the risk of scorching the fabric.
STEAM IRONING
Filling the reservoir
- Check that the plug is disconnected from the socket.
- Move the steam selector (D) to “ ” [Fig. 1].
- Open the Filler door (C).
- Raise the tip of the iron to help the water enter the opening without

overowing.
- Slowly pour the water into the reservoir using the special measure and
taking care not to go over the maximum level (about 280ml) indicated by
“MAX” on the reservoir [Fig. 2].
- Close the Filler door (C).
Selecting the temperature.
- Put the iron in a vertical position.
- Put the plug in the socket.
- Adjust the thermostat knob (I) according to the international symbol on the
garment label [Fig. 3]. The plate indication light (L) indicates that the iron
is heating up. Wait until the plate temperature control light goes o󰀨 before
ironing.
Warning: during ironing, the plate temperature control light (L) comes on at
intervals, indicating that the selected temperature is maintained. If you lower
the thermostat temperature after ironing at a high temperature, do not start
ironing until the plate temperature control light comes on again.
Selecting the steam:
The quantity of steam is regulated by the steam selector (D).
- Move the steam selector to a position between minimum and maximum
depending on the quantity of steam required and the temperature selected
[Fig. 1].
Warning: the iron gives o󰀨 steam continuously only if you hold the iron
horizontally. You can stop the continuous steam by placing the iron in a
vertical position or by moving the steam selector to “ ”. As indicated on
the thermostat knob (I) and in the initial table, you can only use steam at the
highest temperatures. If the selected temperature is too low, water may drip
onto the plate.
- Selecting Shot-steam and steam when ironing vertically.
- Press the shot-steam button (F) to generate a powerful burst of steam that
can penetrate the fabrics and smooth the most di󰀩cult and tough creases.
Wait for a few seconds before pressing again [Fig. 4].
- By pressing the shot-steam button at intervals you can also iron vertically
(curtains, hung garments, etc.) [Fig. 5].
Warning: the shot-steam function can only be used at high temperatures.
Stop the emission when the plate temperature control light (L) comes on, than
start ironing again only after the light has gone o󰀨.

DRY IRONING
To iron without steam, follow the instructions in section “steam ironing”, leaving
the steam selector (D) on position “ ”.
Spray Function
Make sure that there is water in the reservoir. Press the spray button (E)
slowly (for a dense spray) or quickly (for a vaporized spray) [Fig. 6].
Warning: for delicate fabrics, it’s recommended to moist the fabric beforehand
using the spray function (E), or putting a damp cloth between the iron and the
fabric. To avoid staining, do not use the spray on silk or synthetic fabrics.
CLEANING
• Note: before cleaning the iron in any way, make sure that the appliance
plug is not connected to the socket.
• Any deposits, starch residue or size left on the plate can be removed
using a damp cloth or an unabrasive liquid detergent.
• Avoid scratching the plate with steel wool or metallic objects.
• The plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth then wiped over with a
dry cloth.
SELF-CLEANING
The self-cleaning feature cleans inside the plate, removing impurities. It’s
recommended to use it every 10-15days.
Directions:
-Fill the reservoir up to the maximum level indicated and set the steam
selector (D) to “ ”
-Set the thermostat knob (I) to the maximum temperature and wait for the light
(L) to turn o󰀨.
-Pull the plug out of the socket and hold the iron horizontally over the sink.
-Hold the cleanout button (J) setting until all the boiling water, steam,
impurities come out [Fig. 7].
-When the soleplate has cooled down, you can clean it with a damp cloth.
CORDLESS USE
• In addition to the typical utilization with a cable, it’s also possible to
separate the steam iron from the cable base and use it for a short period.
• To separate the steam iron from the cable base slide the switch into the
unlock position. The steam iron could now be used without cable,
• Note: the steam iron cannot be heated up without the cable base, so it can
work only for a short period without the cable base. Reconnect the steam
iron with the cable base as soon as the steam blast or the ironing quality
diminishes.
• To reconnect the steam iron with the cable base, insert the steam iron into

WARNING: steam iron plate is hot. Always pay maximum attention during
cordless use, connecting and disconnecting operations.
STORAGE
- Disconnect the plug of the iron from the socket.
- Empty the reservoir by turning the iron upside down and gently shaking it.
- Leave the iron to cool down completely.
- Roll up the power cord with the rewinder [Fig. 8].
- Always put the iron away in a vertical position.
ADVICE FOR GOOD IRONING
• It’s recommended to use the lowest temperatures with fabrics that have
unusual nishes (sequins, embroidery, ush, etc.).
• If the fabric is mixed (e.g. 40% cotton 60% synthetics), set the thermostat
to the temperature of the bre requiring the lower temperature.
• If you don’t know the composition of the fabric, determine the suitable
temperature by testing on a hidden corner of the garment. Start with
a low temperature and increase it gradually until it reaches the ideal
temperature.
• Never iron areas with traces of perspiration or other marks: the heat of the
plate xes the stains on the fabric, making them irremovable.
• The size is more e󰀨ective if you use a dry iron at a moderate temperature:
excess heat scorches it with the risk of forming a yellow mark.
• To avoid marking silk, woolen or synthetic garments shiny, iron them inside
out.
• To avoid marking velvet garments shiny, iron in one direction (following the
bre) and do not press down on the iron.
• The heavier the washing machine is loaded, the more garments come
out creased. This also happens when the spin drying revolutions are very
high.
• Many fabrics are easier to iron if they are not completely dry.
• For example, silk should always be ironed damp.
