1 Fit the blender sealing ring
into the blender blade unit -
ensuring the seal is located
correctly in the grooved area.

Turn clockwise to lock

Fit the filler cap to the lid and
push down to secure.
5 Place the blender onto the
power unit and turn clockwise
to lock .
lThe appliance will not work
if the blender is incorrectly
fitted.
6 Select a speed (refer to the
Recommended Usage).
Hints and Tips
lGlass Blender - To blend
dry ingredients - cut into
pieces, remove the filler
cap, then with the machine
running, drop the pieces
down one by one. Keep
your hand over the opening.
For best results empty
regularly.
lThe processing of spices is
not recommended as they
may damage the plastic
parts.
lWhen making mayonnaise,
put all the ingredients,
except the oil, into the
blender.
Glass Blender - Remove the
filler cap.
Plastic Blender - Pour
through the drip feed in
the lid.
Then, with the appliance
running, add the oil slowly
through the hole in the lid.
lThick mixtures, e.g. pâtés
and dips, may need scraping
down. If the mixture is
difficult to process, add
more liquid.

bottle up to the 400ml level
mark.
lFor best blending
performance always add ice/
frozen ingredients to the
bottle first.
lWhen adding frozen
ingredients (i.e. frozen fruit,
yoghurt, ice cream or ice) do
not blend more than 60g or
3 ice cubes.
lDo not blend frozen
ingredients without liquid.
2 Fit the sealing ring to the
blade unit, ensuring the seal
is located correctly in the
grooved area. Then clip to
the base.
lLeaking will occur if
the seal is damaged or
incorrectly fitted.
3 Hold the underside of the
blade unit and lower it onto
the bottle, blades down.
4 Screw the blade assembly
onto the bottle. Refer to the
graphics on the underside of
the blade unit as follows:
- open
- close
lShake to disperse the
ingredients.
lPlace the blender onto
the power unit and turn
clockwise to lock .
5 Select maximum speed.
Allow the ingredients to
blend until smooth.
lOnce your drink has reached
the desired consistency,
you can use the pulse ‘P’ to
ensure all ingredients are
thoroughly blended.

Using the drinking lid
1 Fit and lock the lid by
turning clockwise.
2 When you want to drink,
simply flip open the lid
cover. The drink can be
consumed straight from the
bottle.
Blender Recommended Usage
Do not operate your appliance for longer than the times
specified below without a rest period. Processing continuously
for longer periods can damage your appliance.
Do not blend more than the maximum capacity stated on the
goblet.
Do not fill below the minimum capacity marking on the goblet.

Hints and Tips
lNote that when the bottle is filled to max capacity (400ml),
this is approximately two servings.
lEnsure your drink is thin enough to be able to drink from the
dispensing lid. To make a thinner drink add more liquid.
lAfter blending, some drinks may not be completely smooth
due to seeds or the fibrous nature of ingredients.
lWhen drinking through the lid, take care that the drink is
smooth and fully processed. Some experimentation may
be necessary when processing firm or unripe ingredient to
achieve the desired result.
lSome drinks may separate on standing, therefore it is best to
drink them straight away or stir before drinking.
lWhen the dispensing lid is fitted always keep the bottle
upright.

Hints and Tips
lFor optimum performance when processing spices we
recommend that you do not process more than 40g at a time in
the mill.
lWhole spices retain their flavour for a much longer time than
ground spices so it is best to grind a small quantity fresh at a
time to retain the flavour.
lTo release the maximum flavour and essential oils whole spices
are best roasted prior to milling.
lBaby food/purees - allow cooked food to cool to room
temperature before processing in the mill.

2 Do not touch the sharp blades
– brush them clean using
hot soapy water, then rinse
thoroughly under the tap. Do
not immerse the blade unit in
water.
3 Leave to dry upside down.

Carrot and Coriander
Soup
25g butter
50g onion chopped
1 clove garlic crushed
400g carrot cut into 11⁄2cm cubes
cold chicken stock
10-15ml (2-3tsp) ground
coriander
salt and pepper
1 Melt the butter in a pan, add
the onion and garlic and fry
until soft.
2 Place the carrot into the
blender, add the onion and
garlic. Add sufficient stock to
reach the 1000ml level marked
on the goblet. Fit the lid and
filler cap.
3 Blend on maximum speed for
5 seconds for a coarse soup
or longer for a finer result.
4 Season and simmer the soup
for 30-35 minutes or until
cooked. Add extra liquid if
required.

l Het apparaat lekt als de
afsluitring beschadigd is of
niet goed is aangebracht.
2 Schroef de messeneenheid
op de beker – zorg dat de
messeneenheid goed is
vastgedraaid. Zie de volgende
symbolen onder op de
messeneenheid:
- open
- dicht
3 Plaats de ingrediënten in de
beker.
4 Plaats het deksel.
A: Kunststof blender
Draai naar rechts om te
vergrendelen
B: Glazen blender
Plaats de vuldop in het deksel en
druk deze naar beneden om het
goed vast te zetten.
5 Zet de blender op het
motorblok en draai deze
rechtsom om te vergrendelen
.
l Het apparaat werkt niet
als de blender niet goed
bevestigd is.
6 Kies de snelheid (zie de tabel
voor aanbevolen gebruik).
Tips
lGlazen blender - Droge
ingrediënten mengen –
in stukken snijden, de
vuldop verwijderen, en de
stukken één voor één op
het draaiende mes laten
vallen. Houd uw hand
over de opening. Voor het
beste resultaat moet u het
apparaat regelmatig legen.
l De verwerking van
specerijen wordt afgeraden;
dit kan de plastic
onderdelen beschadigen.
l Voor mayonaise, alle
ingrediënten behalve de olie
in de blender doen.
Glazen blender: Verwijder
de vuldop.
Kunststof blender: Door
de druppelopening in het
deksel gieten. Voeg dan,
terwijl het apparaat draait,
de olie langzaam toe via de
opening in het deksel.
l Bij dikke mengsels, zoals
patés en dips, moet u de
wand van het apparaat
misschien schoonschrapen.
Als het mengsel moeilijk
verwerkt kan worden, voegt
u meer vloeistof toe.

1Voeg ingrediënten aan
de beker toe, tot aan de
niveaumarkering voor 400 ml.
l Voor de beste prestaties
doet u altijd ijs/diepgevroren
ingrediënten als eerste in de
beker.
l Wanneer u diepgevroren
etenswaren toevoegt (bijv.
diepgevroren fruit, yoghurt,
roomijs of ijsblokjes) mag
u niet meer dan 60 g of
3 ijsklontjes per keer mengen.
l Verwerk bevroren
ingrediënten altijd met een
vloeistof.
2 Plaats de afdichtring op het
meselement, en zorg ervoor
dat de ring goed in de groef
ligt. Klip het dan vast op het
onderstel.
lAls de afsluitring niet goed
is geïnstalleerd, zal de
machine lekken.
3 Houd de onderkant van het
meselement vast en zet het op
de beker met de messen naar
beneden gericht.
4 Draai het meselement op de
