WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES,
BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE FOLLOWED,
INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
. Carefully read all instructions before using.
. Remove and safely discard any packaging materials and
promotional labels before using the appliance for the first
time.
. To eliminate a choking hazard for young children, remove and
safely discard the protective cover fitted to the power plug of
this appliance.
. WARNING: This appliance must be grounded using a 3-hole
properly grounded outlet. In the event of an electrical short
circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electrical shock.
. Operate appliance only through a professionally installed plug
socket supplying the correct voltage.
. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of
an external timer or separate remote control system.
Do not use extension cables.
. Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the

qualified professional in order to avoid any risk.
. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is
intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still

. Never operate appliance on uneven or wet surfaces.
. Keep the appliance clear of walls, curtains and other heat or
steam sensitive materials.

. Provide adequate space above and on all sides for air
circulation around the appliance.
. Use only fire blankets to extinguish fires on appliances.
. To dispose of the appliance, disable by cutting main cable and
take to an official disposal site.
. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles, knobs or
rubber sleeve.
. Use caution when pouring foamed milk from the appliance,
as both the appliance and hot milk might scald.
. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow to cool before adding or removing parts, and before
cleaning the appliance.
. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug
or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in
any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock

. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, touch hot
surfaces, or become knotted.
. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the
wall outlet. In order to disconnect, turn any control to “Off”
by pressing it again, then remove plug from wall outlet.
. The appliance is not designed for commercial or industrial
use; it is for household use only.
. This appliance has been designed specifically for the purpose
of foaming milk and alternative milk products. It is not
intended for whipping, thickening or heating other food
substances e.g. oil, eggs, butter, heavy cream, whipping
cream, soups, gravies, etc. Do not use appliance for other
than its intended use.
. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the heating/
frothing cycles.
. Keep the appliance and its accessories clean in accordance
with the care instructions provided.
. Do not use harsh abrasives, caustic cleaners or oven cleaners
when cleaning the appliance.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE THE FIRST USE:
• Unpack the box with care, keeping all the packaging
materials until you are satisfied everything is present
and in working order.
• Remove all packaging and any aluminium foil wrapping
and store it for later use. Check if the appliance has
been delivered completely and that it is in perfect order.
• Before using the appliance for the first time please
clean the jug and the accessories, as described under
the “MAINTENANCE” section to remove dust or
production residues.

QUICK TIPS
HERE ARE SOME HANDY HINTS TO HELP YOU GET THE BEST OUT OF YOUR FROTHER.
USAGE
When preparing a beverage, always use your frother first to froth or heat your milk and pour in a mug.
Brew your coffee or hot chocolate over the hot or cold frothed milk and serve immediately to avoid
milk from separating.
After frothing or heating, allow 2 minutes for the thermostat to reset before the frother can be ready
for use again. To shorten this time, rinse the jug with water and wipe dry after each use.
MILK
For best results, use 2% milk.
The frother is designed to heat and froth milk only. Do not put coffee granules, chocolate powder
or other similar flavouring into the frother. Clean immediately and thoroughly after each use.
The milk frother is designed to heat and froth milk. For best results, use milk at about 4–10˚C.
Failure to use the appropriate whisk, or pouring excessive amounts of milk may cause overflow.
TEMPERATURE
The frother can prepare cold frothed milk. During this cycle the temperature of the milk will not change.
It will not heat the milk. The frother cannot be used to cool down milk.
Milk heats to approximately 65˚C. This is the ideal temperature to ensure the flavour of your coffee
is not altered and to reduce wait time before you can start sipping your beverage.
WHISKS
Keep the whisks in a safe place. They are small and can easily be lost.
Rinse and wipe dry after each use.

. Choose the appropriate whisk and set it inside the jug.
(See functions on page 5 for reference.)
. Pour the milk into the jug below the mark.
Use top MAX line for heating milk.
Use bottom MAX line for frothing milk.
. Push one of the buttons to start the machine:
Frothing & Heating / Heating:
Push the upper button.
The indicator light will turn on.
Once the cycle is complete, between 65–130 sec,
the indicator light will keep flashing for 30 sec.
Frothing cold milk:
Push the lower button.
The indicator light will turn on.
Once the cycle is complete, after 60 sec,
the indicator will turn off and then flash for 30 sec.

. Insert the larger whisk inside
the milk frother jug.
Pour milk in the frother without
exceeding the lower MAX line.
Start the appliance by pressing
the top button, following the instructions.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
• Keurig® coffee maker
• 1 Van Houtte® Colombian Dark coffee K-Cup® pod
• Cold 2% milk. We recommend this type of milk to obtain a rich and creamy froth
• Your choice of sweetener: white or brown sugar, honey, maple syrup, etc. (optional)
The perfect combination of creamy froth and rich, intense coffee, easily prepared in less than 2 minutes.
Makes one serving.
SERVING SUGGESTION
. Once milk is frothed, pour it in a 12 oz. (355 ml) mug.
. Brew the Van Houtte® Colombian Dark
coffee K-Cup® pod over the milk choosing the
4 or 6 oz (110 ml or 170 ml) brew size of your
Keurig® coffee maker.
Sweeten to taste, stir and enjoy!

MAINTENANCE
THE FROTHER JUG AND THE WHISK SHOULD BE CLEANED AFTER EACH USE TO AVOID BUILDUP.
THE FROTHER AND WHISK WILL BE VERY HOT IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE, PLEASE USE CAUTION.
. Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
. Remove the jug from the power base.
. Remove the lid (and silicon ring) from the jug.
Separate the lid and silicon ring and clean in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
. Remove the whisk from the jug and clean in warm soapy water.
Dry and store in a safe place. Do not place whisk in the dishwasher.
. Rinse the jug and clean the inner walls using warm soapy water and a non-abrasive cloth.
If the frother will no longer be used for the rest of the day, clean the gap under the shaft sleeve
of the motor using warm soapy water and a soft brush.
Rinse and wipe dry with a soft cloth. Do not place the appliance in the dishwasher.
. Wipe the body exterior with a soft damp cloth.
Thoroughly wipe dry with a soft cloth.
. Clean the base with a soft cloth.
Never immerse the base in water.
NOTE
• Never immerse the milk frother body, power base, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Never allow moisture to come in contact with the power base, cord or plug.
Thoroughly dry the body before placing on the power base.
• Never use abrasive cleaning agents, a hard nylon brush or metal brush to avoid scratches
on the stainless steel surface.

TROUBLESHOOTING
INDICATOR LIGHT DOES NOT WORK,
JUG DOES NOT WORK
• Plug might not be inserted properly. Re-insert plug.
• Jug and power base might have poor contact.
Remove and replace jug on power base.
• Check electric circuit as there might be no power
in the jack.
• There might be a problem with one of the components
of the milk frother. If you completed the above
procedure and this situation persists, contact
Customer Service at 1-800-361-5628.
JUG CEASES TO WORK AFTER STARTING OPERATION
• Jug temperature might be too high. Rinse jug with
cold water to cool down.
• The milk frother might be damaged from immersion
in water. The milk frother might need repair. If you
completed the above procedure and this situation
persists, contact Customer Service at 1-800-361-5628.
MOTOR DOES NOT WORK
• Jug might not have been cleaned right after use and
milk might be locking the mechanism. Ensure you
clean and move the whisk support at the bottom of
the jug to remove any residue.
• Motor might be damaged. If you completed the
above procedure and this situation persists, contact
Customer Service at 1-800-361-5628.
THE MILK FROTHER DOES NOT HEAT MILK
• There might be a problem with one of the components
of the milk frother, contact Customer Service at
1-800-361-5628.
CHARRING
• Dosage of milk is either too high or too low. Ensure
you follow the recommended milk dosage according to
the whisk you are using.
• Jug might have been reused without cleaning. Ensure
you clean the jug after each use using warm soapy
water and a non-abrasive cloth.
• The voltage might be lower than specified voltage.
Ensure you use the appropriate voltage (120V~60Hz).

WARRANTY
LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY
Keurig warrants that your milk frother will be free of
defects in materials or workmanship under normal home
use for one year from the date of purchase. Keurig will,
at its option, repair or replace a defective milk frother
without charge upon its receipt of proof of the date of
purchase. If a replacement milk frother is necessary to
service this warranty, the replacement milk frother may
be new or reconditioned. If a replacement milk frother is
sent, a new limited one year warranty will be applied to
the replacement milk frother.
This warranty only applies to a milk frother operated in
Canada. This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
and you may also have other rights that vary from
province to province.
Keurig cannot guarantee that a milk type other than
2%milk will work in the Keurig® milk frother. Any damage
to or malfunction of your milk frother resulting from
the use of another milk type may not be covered by this
warranty or may result in a service fee if the damage or
malfunction is determined to be caused by such use.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE LIMITED WARRANTY?
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER CONSEQUENTIAL
OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES SUCH AS PROPERTY
DAMAGE AND DOES NOT COVER INCIDENTAL COSTS
AND EXPENSES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF
THIS WARRANTY, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE.
Some provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitations
of incidental or consequential damages, so the above
limitation or exclusion may not apply to you depending
on the province of purchase.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by the use
of a milk type other than 2% milk, services performed
by anyone other than Keurig or its authorized service
providers, use of parts other than genuine Keurig® parts,
or external causes such as abuse, misuse, inappropriate
power supply, or acts of God.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ANY
OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY, WHETHER WRITTEN OR

DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT
TO YOUR KEURIG® MILK FROTHER, INCLUDING ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR
FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Some provinces do not allow disclaimers of such implied
warranties or limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to
you depending on the province of purchase.

with proper care, are intended to provide years of
satisfying performance. However, should the need arise
for warranty servicing, simply call Keurig Customer

Please do not return your milk frother for servicing
without first speaking to Keurig Customer Service to
obtain an Authorization to Return number (ATR). Keurig®
milk frothers returned without an ATR number will be
returned to the sender without servicing.

Please dispose of the packaging according
to your local waste regulations.
Cardboard, paper and aluminium (potentially recyclable)
can be sent to recycling facilities.

instructions d’entretien fournies.

nettoyants pour le four lors du nettoyage de cet appareil.
CONSERVER CES INSTRUCTIONS
AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION :

VOICI QUELQUES TRUCS POUR TIRER LE MAXIMUM DE VOTRE MOUSSEUR À LAIT.
UTILISATION
Avant de préparer toute boisson, mousser ou chauffer d’abord le lait. Infusez le café ou le chocolat chaud sur le lait
moussé, chaud ou froid; servir immédiatement pour éviter que le lait et la mousse ne se séparent.
Après avoir moussé ou chauffé le lait, attendre 2 minutes que le thermostat se réinitialise avant d’utiliser l’appareil
de nouveau. Pour réduire ce délai, rincer le pot à l’eau et le sécher après chaque utilisation.
LAIT
Pour des résultats optimaux, utiliser du lait 2%.
Le mousseur est conçu uniquement pour chauffer et mousser du lait. Ne pas utiliser de café soluble, de poudre de
chocolat ni d’autres produits aromatisants. Bien nettoyer le pot après chaque utilisation.

4–10 °C. Utiliser le mauvais fouet ou verser du lait au-delà de la ligne MAX peut entraîner un débordement.
TEMPÉRATURE
L’appareil permet de mousser du lait froid. Durant ce cycle la température du lait demeure la même
(le lait n’est pas chauffé). Le mousseur ne peut pas être utilisé pour refroidir du lait.
L’appareil chauffe le lait à environ 65 °C. C’est la température idéale pour ne pas altérer le goût du café
et pour réduire au minimum le temps d’attente avant la première gorgée.
FOUETS
Conserver les fouets en lieu sûr. Comme ils sont petits, il est facile de les égarer.
Rincer et sécher après chaque usage.
