1. Setting your combination:
There is no preset combination on your KeySafe P500.
Select your own combination.
Each number/letter can only be used once.
Do not use a combination that can be easily guessed.
Use five to seven digits in your combination.
Hold the plastic tab and pull open the weather cover.

Es gibt keine voreingestellte Kombination auf ihrem Key Safe P500. Wählen Sie ihre eigene
Kombination. Jede Zahl/Buchstabe kann nur einmal verwendet werden. Verwenden Sie nicht eine
Kombination, welche leicht zu erraten ist. Verwenden Sie fünf bis sieben Ziffern in ihrer
Kombination. Halten Sie die Plastik-Lasche und öffnen Sie die Wetterschutzabdeckung.
2. Press down on the CLEAR button.
Drücken Sie auf die Schaltfläche Löschen.

3. Turn the OPEN lever clockwise 180° to open the lid.
Drehen Sie den OPEN/ÖFFNEN Hebel 180° im Uhrzeigersinn um den Deckel zu öffnen.
4. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw from the code tamper plate.
Benutzen Sie einen Schraubendreher um die Abdeckung der Codeeinheit zu lösen.

5. Slide the tamper plate towards the hinge of the KeySafe.
Pull out the plate and remove the plastic card from the key cover.
Entfernen Sie die Metallplatte von der Codeeinheit. Ziehen Sie die die Plastikkarte aus dem
Deckel. Die kantige Ecke (Nase) der Karte dient zum Einstellen der Codeschalter.
6. There are ten numbered buttons and two lettered buttons with arrows on the back of the
lid.
Arrows pointing down are not set as part of the combination.
Arrows pointing up are set and are part of the combination.
Auf der Rückseite des Deckels gibt es zehn nummerierte Einstelltasten und
zwei Buchstaben Einstelltasten mit Pfeilen !
Pfeile nach unten = nicht als Teil der Kombination eingestellt. (Pfeil zeigt vom
Deckelscharnier weg)
Pfeile nach oben = Teil der Kombination. (Pfeil zeigt Richtung Deckelscharnier)
Pfeil zeigt seitlich = nicht erlaubt

7. IMPORTANT!
The OPEN lever must be in LOCKED position before the code can be
changed.
With the KeySafe P500 open, turn the open lever counter clockwise 180°, back to the
locked position.
Forcing the setting buttons when in the OPEN position may damage the KeySafe and
void the warranty.

Der OPEN Hebel muss in der Position „ GESPERRT“ sein, bevor der Code
geändert werden kann.
Mit offenem Key Safe Deckel, drehen Sie den Hebel gegen den Uhrzeigersinn um 180° zurück in
die verriegelte Position.
Gewalteinwirkung auf die Einstelltasten während der OPEN Position kann zu einer
Beschädigung des Key Safe und zum Erlöschen der Garantie führen.
Use the code change tool on the plastic card to set the combination.
To add a number or letter to the code, use the code change tool to push in the grooved
arrow by the number/letter you wish to set.
Turn 180° until the arrow pops back up completely and the arrow points in the ON direction.

To remove a number or letter from the code, use the code change tool to push in the
grooved arrow by the number/letter you wish to set.
Turn 180° until the arrow pops back up completely and the arrow points in the OFF
direction.
Verwenden Sie die Plastikkarte um die Kombination zu ändern. Um eine Zahl oder einen
Buchstaben dem Code hinzu zufügen. Drücken Sie in den geschlitzten Pfeil nach unten wo
Sie die/den Zahl/Buchstaben einstellen möchten. Drehen Sie 180° bis der Pfeil wieder
vollständig erscheint und der Pfeil in Richtung ON zeigt. Zum Entfernen einer Zahl oder
eines Buchstaben aus dem Code drücken Sie in den geschlitzten Pfeil der/des
Zahl/Buchstabens welchen Sie ändern möchten. Drehen Sie 180° bis der Pfeil wieder
vollständig erscheint und der Pfeil in Richtung OFF zeigt.
8. Replace the plastic card on the key cover, place the code tamper plate over the back of
the lid and slide into place.
Secure with the anti-tamper screw if you want to make the combination tamper
resistant.
Setzen Sie die Plastikkarte wieder in die Abdeckung, platzieren Sie die Code- Abdeckplatte
auf der Rückseite des Deckels bis sie einrastet.
Sichern Sie die Code- Abdeckplatte mit der Schraube

9. Testing your combination:
Make sure OPEN lever is in the locked position. If not, turn OPEN lever counter-clockwise until it’s
in the locked position.
On the front of the KeySafe, press only the buttons in your combination.
Press each button in until it clicks. If you press the wrong button, push down on the CLEAR button
and enter your code again.
Testen Sie Ihre Kombination:
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Öffnungshebel sich in der verriegelten Position befindet. Wenn
nicht, drehen Sie den Hebel gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, bis er in der verriegelten Position ist.
Auf der Vorderseite des KeySafe, drücken Sie nun die Tasten Ihrer Kombination.
Drücken Sie jede Taste, bis sie einrastet. Wenn Sie die falsche Taste drücken, drücken Sie
auf die Taste CLEAR und geben Sie den Code erneut ein.
Turn the OPEN lever clockwise 180° to open. If the combination is set correctly, the OPEN
lever will turn fully and the locking bolt will retract.
If not, push down the CLEAR button and refer to the section “Setting your combination.”
Drehen Sie den OPEN Hebel im Uhrzeigersinn 180° um zu öffnen. Wenn die Kombination
richtig eingestellt ist, wird sich der Öffnungshebel komplett drehen und der Riegel wird
eingezogen. Wenn nicht, drücken Sie die CLEAR-Taste (Löschen) und gehen Sie zurück zu
den Abschnitt: „ Einstellen Ihrer Kombination“.
