Introduction
Read all safety and operation instructions before using the Premium Bluetooth
Sports Headphones.
Warning: To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not expose the product
to water or moisture.
Important Safety Instructions
1. Do not expose the BTH260 to liquid, moisture or areas of high humidity.
2. Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean the BTH260 as they may damage the
unit. Always unplug and power o the unit before cleaning.
3. Do not expose the BTH260 to extremely high or low temperatures.
4. Do not attempt to open or modify the BTH260 in any way.
5. Keep the unit away from direct sunlight.
6. Refer to your State’s driving laws to see if they permit using Stereo
Headphones while driving.
7. To avoid electronic interference and/or compatible conicts, turn o the
BTH260 in any facilities where posted notices instruct you to do so. For
example: Aircraft, Military Base, Hospital or Health Care Facilities.
8. To avoid impairing your hearing in the long-term operation, keep the
playback volume at a moderate level.
9. Keep away from re, water, and high voltage equipments.
10. Store the headphones in a cool dry place.
11. The BTH260 contains a lithium ion battery. Lithium ion batteries are

ammable and can cause re if misused or defective.
12. Always dispose of the packaging and unit in accordance with the local
regulations and in a responsible manner.

Charging
Before using the BTH260 headphones, make sure they are fully charged.
When the headphones are powered on, the voice prompt will say“Battery High”
(100%-70%), “Battery Medium” (70%-20%), or “Battery Low” (20% and lower)
depending on the battery level. To charge the BTH260 headphones, connect
one end of the micro USB power cable to the BTH260 and the other end to a
USB power source. USB power sources include computers, laptops, USB hubs,
USB AC adapters, and USB car chargers.
When the BTH260 is charging, the red light will be lit. When the battery is fully
charged, the red light will turn o. The charging process can take 1.5 to 2 hours
to charge the battery completely.
When the BTH260 has a low battery, the red light will blink intermittently and
the headphones will play an audible tone while powered on. The voice prompt
will say “Battery Low”.
iOS devices such as the iPod, iPhone and iPad will display the battery level of
the BTH260 headphones.
Powering On
Slide the power switch forward. The LED will light up and the voice prompt will
say either “Battery High, Battery Medium or Battery Low”. If the headphones
have not been paired to any device the LED will rapidly blink blue and red as
they enter pairing mode.

To power o the BTH260, slide the power switch backward. The LED will go
out and the voice prompt will say “Lost Connection” if the headphones were
connected to a device.
If music is playing on your device when the headphones are powered o, the
music will pause.
Standby Mode / Idle Feature
When the headphones are powered on and are inactive after several minutes
of use, they will automatically enter standby mode. In this state, the BTH260 will
preserve battery power. To awaken the device, simply play audio with the device
it is connected to or press any button on the BTH260.
Bluetooth Pairing
a. Ensure the headphones are powered on, then enter the pairing mode on
the headphones by pressing and holding the multifunction button for 6
seconds until the blue and red lights start ashing alternatively. The voice
prompt will say “Connected”.
b. Follow the operating instruction of your Bluetooth device to start the
pairing process. When pairing is successful, the voice prompt will say
“Paired”.
For iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch
Navigate to Settings > General > Bluetooth (On), then select the Kinivo BTH260
to pair the headphones.

For Android smartphones
Navigate to Settings > Wireless & networks > Bluetooth settings while Bluetooth
is enabled, then select Scan for devices. Select the Kinivo BTH260 to pair the
headphones.
Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10
a. Make sure your computer is Bluetooth enabled and supports Bluetooth
stereo (A2DP).
b. After putting the BTH260 headphones in pairing mode, right click the
Bluetooth tray icon then select ‘Add a Device’ from the context menu.
Under Windows 8, type “Add a Bluetooth device”
c. Locate the Kinivo BTH260 from the devices list and click the Next button.
d. After your computer has loaded the device and the drivers for the
headphones, you should see that the device has successfully connected.
Continue by clicking Close on the Add a device window and closing the
second information window.
e. Right click the Volume control tray icon then select ‘Playback devices’ from
the context menu.
f. Select the Headphones (Bluetooth Hands-free Audio by left clicking the
device then click ‘Set Default’.
g. Hit OK to close the window. The Kinivo BTH260 headphones should now
play audio from your computer.
Mac OS
a. After putting the BTH260 headphones in pairing mode, click the Bluetooth
tray icon then select ‘Set Up Bluetooth Device’ from the drop down menu.

b. Locate the Kinivo BTH260 from the devices list and click Continue.
c. You should see that the device pairing has successfully completed.
Continue by clicking Quit.
d. To use the headphones as the default audio device, click the Bluetooth tray
icon and hover over the BTH260 option then select ‘Use as Audio Device’.
e. The next time you adjust the volume in the menu bar or play music, the
computer will automatically connect to the headphones.
Answering Calls
a. Press the center Play/Pause button to answer any incoming phone call.
b. Press the same button to cancel any ongoing call.

Factory Reset
WARNING: Performing a factory reset on the BTH260 will delete any previous
pairings and will restore the headphones to factory default settings. Only
perform this if you are experiencing any issues with the product. (This
procedure can only be done while no audio is playing and cannot be

performed during a phone call)
1. Power on the BTH260 headphones.
2. Press the volume - and the multifunction button simultaneously for 8
seconds. A purple LED will ash when the reset is completed.
3. The next time the BTH260 is powered on they will automatically enter
pairing mode.
Note: The factory reset will only work if there are no phone calls in progress or
music playing through the headphones. After factory reset, you will need to
remove the previous BTH260 pairing from your Bluetooth device and repeat the
pairing process.

the product with a replacement product of like quality and size, suitable for the
intended use.
This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the mentioned product
only, is non-transferable and does not extend to any product damaged by

The warranty does not cover or provide for the reimbursement or payment
of incidental or consequential damage resulting from breach of the limited
warranty described above. Except for the limited warranty described above we
