Mounting
instructions
On LV1 Mounting bracke
 Secure the ackplate and the Aluminium mounting frame to
the LV1 mounting bracket by using the 2 wall mounted
screws
 Connect the Reader Pro to the cabling in place (Cat 6 or low
voltage wires)
 Insert the Reader Pro inside the aluminum mounting frame
and then slide up the Reader Pro
 Secure the Reader Pro by installing the security screw (hex
key provided).

 Drill a hole of at least 7/8 inch (22.2mm) of diameter in the
metallic prole
 Secure the Aluminium mounting frame to the metallic prole
using the 2 self tapping screws
 Connect the Reader Pro to the cabling in place (Cat 6 or low
voltage wires)
 Insert the Reader Pro inside the aluminum mounting frame
and then slide the Reader Pro in the upper direction
 Secure the Reader Pro by installing the security screw (hex
key provided).

Wiring
Using Po
Connect a CAT6 cable to the Reader Pro 2 pigtail
Using Low- oltage and Wi
Connect the 2 low voltage wire (12 DC) to the 2 wires of the
Reader Pro: Red for +12 DC in and Black for Ground
Important note for the wiring
connect both a CAT6 cable and 2 low voltage wires at the
same time to the Reader!
The Reader Pro only needs to be powered either using PoE or
low voltage 2 wires
