This Cover Top is not free-standing. If not properly anchored it will collapse. Anchor your Cover Top properly at all times to
reduce the risk of loss or injury to the Cover Top or tent occupants.
CAMPSITE CHOICE
Carefully consider the possibility of falling rocks or tree limbs, lightning strikes, flash floods, avalanches, strong winds, and
other hazards when choosing a campsite to reduce the risk of loss or injury to the tarp or occupants.

Do not leave children unattended inside a tent or camp. Do not allow children to assemble or disassemble. Do not allow

Setup Instructions
When attaching the Cover Top to your Flex Bow tent,
it’s best to start while your tent is on the ground (not
raised). After assembling the roof portion of your tent
(flex rods inserted into T-pole, ridge poles connected
and tensioned), layout your Cover Top on top of the
flattened tent.
Each corner of the Cover Top attaches to the ends of
the 4 flex rods. On each end of the Cover Top, there is
a sleeve pocket (Figure 1), and a hook & loop closure
pocket (Figure 2). Insert the flex rod into the sleeve
pocket first, then on the same end of the tent, insert
the other flex rod into the hook & loop closure pocket.
Repeat this process on the other end of the tent.
NOTE: When assembled, the Cover Top is a tight fit. When
inserting the flex rods into the Cover Top pockets, it may
help to apply some additional pressure to the flex rod—
flex it more—to get it into the Cover Top pockets. Figure 3
shows the flex rod inserted into the hook & loop pocket.
After the Cover Top is secured to the flex rods in the 4
corners of the tent, go ahead and raise the tent as usual.
After the tent is raised and secured, attach the Cover
Top guy ropes to each end of the tent.
a. Tie the loose end of the guy rope to the webbing
loop on the end of the Cover Top (Figure 4).
b. Secure the guy rope through the tent stake loop at
the bottom of the tent upright pole, then use the guy
rope tensioner to secure the rope and Cover Top
(Figure 5).
c. Repeat this process at the other end of the tent.
The use of protective gloves and eyewear is recommended during set up.

VERY IMPORTANT—Your Cover Top must be completely dry before storage! STORING A WET OR DAMP COVER TOP, EVEN FOR A
SHORT TIME, CAN RUIN IT AND VOID THE WARRANTY.
If you must break camp when the Cover Top is wet, that is okay. Just be sure when you get back to unroll it, open it up and / or hang
it out to completely dry. The sooner the better. Periods of time exceeding 48 hours could allow mold to grow.
• To clean, hose down with water and wipe with a cloth. Do not use soaps and detergents as they can damage the water-repellant
treatment of the Cover Top fabric.
• Do not spray insecticides or bug repellant directly on the fabric. This may damage the water-repellant treatment.
• For long-term storage, store in a cool, dry location that is not exposed to direct sunlight.
