adjust or operate the appliance.

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should al ays be follo ed to reduce the risk
of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the follo ing:
1. Read all instructions before using.
2. In case of emergency, immediately remove the plug from po er outlet.
3. Check the voltage indicated on the rating label on the appliance does in fact match that of your
electrical system.
4. This appliance is not intended to for use by persons (including children) ith reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, and kno ledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play ith the appliance
5. Do not operate the appliance ith a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions,
has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to authorized service facility
for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
6. Al ays unplug the appliance hen not in use or before cleaning. Allo to cool before adding or
removing parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
7. To protect against fire, electric shock and personal injury, do not immerse cord, plug or
appliance in ater or other liquid. Never clean the appliance or the po er cord if those are humid.
Avoid touching the appliance ith et hands.
8. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord ith thro rugs, runners or similar
coverings. Arrange cord a ay from a high-traffic area, here it ill not be tripped over.
9. Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may over heat and cause a risk
of fire. If it is necessary to have use of an extension cord, the cord shall be rated not less than
2,000 atts. Only use an earthed socket to connect the appliance.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. It is normal for the plug to feel arm to the touch; ho ever, a loose fit bet een the po er
socket and plug may cause over heating and distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician
to replace loose or orn outlet.
12. Use the appliance only as the described in this manual. Any other use or accessory
attachments not recommend by the manufacture may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to
persons.
13. Do not put fingers inside capsule housing (bre ing chamber), due to sharp edges.
14. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use levers or knobs.
15. For indoor domestic use only.
16. Hot ater, steam, spout and capsule holder are hot. There is serious danger of burning

injuries. Do not put steam or hot ater to ards the body.
17. Heat up drinks: Dip the steam nozzle deep into the liquid in order to avoid hot ater or steam
splashes.
18. Do not operate the appliance hen the drip tray and the grill are not in place.
19. Use only ater in the appliance! Do not put any other liquids or foods in the Water Reservoir.
20. Steam nozzle is very hot after steaming, be cautious not to touch it by hand. Move only ith
the rubber handle.
21. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, it’s service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
22. WARNING: The ater reservoir filling aperture must not be opened during use.
23. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar application such as:
- Indoor & domestic use only.;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other orking environments;

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS………………………… …………
1. Start up
Fill the ater tank ith fresh clean ater, pure ater is strongly recommended to avoid scale in the
machine. The ater level should no lo er than the Min. position and no higher than the Max.
Position. S itch the machine on at the On/Off s itch, hen the machine ill then preheat. Check
the belo procedure of coffee/ espresso bre ing or inside system cleaning before first use.
2. Coffee/Espresso bre ing
When machine is s itched on at the On/Off s itch, it starts preheating. Turn the Coffee/Steam
knob clock ise to the coffee position. When the blue indicator is blinking sho s the machine is
preheating; hen the blue indicator stops blinking, the machine is ready.
Insert the capsule into the capsule holder by moving the sliding cover to open and close.
Press the front control button to get coffee ith a desired volume.
Press the front control button again or turn back the knob to 0 position to stop outputting the
coffee; the round blue indicator ill then turn off.
In the case of the coffee knob being turned back to the 0 position, ithin several seconds the
capsule ill drop into the aste capsule collection container automatically.

When blinking, the system is preheating for beverage/coffee
4. To get hot ater
Just repeat the coffee bre ing procedure ithout inserting a capsule, you ill get hot ater.

5. Notes
Do not move the ater tank a ay from the machine hen the hydraulic system is still moving.
The volume of the aste capsule collection container is limited so please remove the aste
capsules after every fe uses.
Use only ater in the appliance! Do not put any other liquids or food in the Water tank (Reservoir).
TROUBLE SHOOTING…………………………………….… ……
Problem Solution
On/Off S itch not on Check plug, main s itch and fuses
No coffee dispensed Make sure the capsule properly positioned, capsule slot not
obstructed, bre ing chamber cover properly closed, ater tank
full and properly placed.
Coffee not hot enough
Preheat cup(hot ater ithout capsule), descale if necessary.
Noisy pump Repeat the priming procedure. Make sure the ater tank is full
and properly placed.
Capsule area leaking
( ater in capsule container)
Position capsule correctly.
If leakage continues: contact Kogan customer support.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE……………………… …….….
1. System Cleaning
To cleanse the inside parts of the system, you can choose to repeat the procedure of dispensing
hot ater several times, and you can also brush the inside bre ing chamber capsule holder ith a
soft brush. Clean the casing ith a soft damp cloth. The ater tank, drip tray and used capsule
collection container can be ashed in arm ater.
Note:
Before attempting to clean the appliance, remove the plug from the po er outlet. Do not immerse
the machine, and/or po er cable in ater or other liquids. Allo the machine to cool before starting
the cleaning procedure.
2. Descaling
Choose the recommended decalcifier or scale remover from your machine provider and repeat the
same procedure as coffee bre ing and steaming ithout inserting any capsule.
