Click the power switch, then while the water is heating, you can press the te perature
adjust buttons to regulate the desired te perature. Once set, the display will flash 3
ti es, then the water will heat to the desired te perature before the kettle turns off.
The te perature will default to 100°C, and the te perature adjust button will change
the desired te perature by +/-5°C per press.
Keep warm switch (as shown on previous page)
In standby ode, pressing the keep war button will put the kettle into a keep war
ode, which will default to 50°C. The te perature display will flash 5 ti es and the
keep war ode will be in standby without heating. Press the power button to start
the unit heating. Once the chosen te perature has been reached, the kettle will sound
5 quick successive tones. The kettle will hold this te perature for as long as it re ains
in keep war ode.

Press these buttons to adjust the desired water te perature in the kettle. Each press
will alter the te perature by +/-5°C.
Operation
It is reco ended that upon first use, you operate the kettle several ti es as explained
below, then discard the water to rid the kettle of dust or other aterials fro the
anufacturing process.
1. Open the lid by pressing down the lid release button, then fill the kettle with
water. Then close the lid, as the auto atic cut-off function will not operate once
the water is boiling with the lid open.
Caution: the water level ust be between the “ ax” and “ in” levels as
indicated in the housing. Too little water will cause da age to the heating
ele ent, whereas too uch water ay result in water spilling fro the top
during boiling.
2. Place the kettle onto the power base and connect the base to the power supply.
Place the kettle so that the spout of the kettle is facing away fro you and other
people.
3. Click the power switch and the water will start to heat up. Do not open the lid
while the water is boiling.
Caution: ensure that the switch is clear of obstructions and that the lid is fir ly
closed. The kettle will not turn off if the switch is blocked or the lid is open.
4. Power will cut off once water is boiled.
5. Lift the kettle up fro the base and pour the water.
Note: operate carefully and pour the water away fro you, as boiling water will
scald.
6. If you press the power switch again, the kettle will go into standby ode and will
display the current te perature of the water.
Caution: never operate the kettle while e pty. In the event of this happening, the
ther al cut-off inside the kettle would operate, cutting off the power
auto atically. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down co pletely before
using it again.
Note: ensure the power is turned off when the kettle is not in use.
