Safety & Warnings

・Do not operate t is appliance if it as a damaged cord or plug, if it is not
working properly or if it as been damaged or dropped. If t e supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified service agent at t e instruction of
Kogan.com.

Operation
Buzz notification
• T e kettle will buzz twice w en turning on and w en it reac es t e set
temperature.
• T e kettle will buzz once to confirm a button press.
Pre-set temperature indicator lig t:
Temperature indicator lig ts: 50°C, 70°C, 80°C, 90°C. 100°C = all indicators o.
In normal mode: Corresponding indicators are lit; ot ers turn o
In keep warm mode: Corresponding indicators flas ; ot ers turn o
Button operation
1) Start button: Press to start eating; press again to stop
• Press for 3 seconds to enter keep warm mode; press for 1 second to exit.
2) Temperature Pre-set:
In normal mode, t e temperature indicator lig ts lig t to t e set temperature.
In keep warm mode, t e temperatures able to be set are: 50°C > 70°C > 80°C >
90°C > 50°C. In keep warm, buttons ot er t an start will not function.
Kettle body LEDs
• T e kettle body LEDs s ine green for 50°C, blue for 70°C, purple for 80°C,
orange for 90°C and red for 100°C.
• T e LED turns on w ile setting, eating or keeping warm at t e set
temperature. W en finis ed eating, t e LED will turn o.
Working status
Normal mode:
• W en powered on, t e kettle will buzz twice, t e indicator lig ts will all lig t
up for 1 second and t e LEDs on t e kettle body will flas before going into
standby.
• W en powered on, t e default pre-set temperature is 100°C. Press start
button to boiling directly.
• W en t e water temperature reac es 98°C, t e kettle will stop eating after
8-10 seconds, buzz twice and enter standby.
• If a temperature is set but t e start button is not, t e corresponding indicator
lig t will turn o after 15 seconds, and kettle will go into standby.
• W en t e kettle reac es t e set temperature, t e indicator lig t will turn on.
W en t e kettle stops eating, it will buzz twice, t e LEDs on kettle body turn
o w ile t e indicator lig ts are lit. It will go into standby after a minute.
• Boiling water temperature range is +3 degrees.
• During t e eating process, can set temperature t roug pre-set temperature
button.

Keep warm mode:
• W en set to keep warm mode (see “Button operation”), temperature can be
set: t e corresponding indicator lig t turn on. If start is not pressed after 3
seconds, t e indicator lig t will turn o after 15 seconds and t e kettle will go
into standby.
• In keep warm mode, w en t e water temperature reac es t e set
temperature, t e kettle will buzz twice and will not buzz afterwards.
• W en in keep warm mode, t e kettle will eat automatically w en t e
temperature falls below t e set temperature.
• After 30 minutes, t e kettle will go into standby.
• T e temperature range for keep warm is wit in 3°C.
Malfunction
• If a s ort circuit occurs, all t e temperature indicator lig ts will flas , t e
kettle will stop eating and t e buttons will be inoperable.
• If an open circuit occurs, all t e temperature indicator lig ts will turn o, t e
kettle will stop eating and t e buttons will be inoperable.
Cleaning & Care
Cleaning
• Carefully read t e “Safety & Warnings” section before cleaning.
• Remove t e power cord and allow t e kettle to cool down.
• Wipe up t e outside of bottom cover wit a damp clot , and t en dry it wit
a dry clot . Do not use abrasive cleaners, ot erwise it will scratc t e body.
• Soap water and mild cleaning agents can be used. Do not use stronger
corrosive cleaners.
Descaling
• Descale t e water kettle regularly to ensure a longer life.
• Descaling s ould be carried out twice every year in normal use state.
• Fill to t e maximum level wit vinegar (w ic is safe for consumption) and
boil.
• Unplug t e power cord once complete.
• Allow t e boiled vinegar to sit and drain after one nig t.
• Fill to t e maximum level wit water and drain to remove residue.
• Once complete, was as usual wit water.
