Before You Begin
-Shut off the main water supply.
-Observe all local plumbing codes.
-If possible, install this faucet before installing the sink.
-If the supply tubes must be cut, allow for required penetration into
the shut-off valve.
-Inspect the supply lines for damage. Replace as necessary.
-Kohler reserves the right to make revisions in the design of faucets
without notice, as specified in the price book.

1. Spout/Handspray Installation
NOTE:Before applying plumbers putty to the escutcheon, make
sure the O-ring is in place in the groove on the interior surface.
-Apply a bead of plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside of
the escutcheon according to the putty manufacturer’s instructions.
-Thread the nut and washer onto the bottom of the shank.
-Insert the shank from the bottom of the sink, slide the escutcheon
over the shank, and thread the spout onto the shank.
-Back the spout off 1/8 turn after the spout bottoms out.
-Tighten the nut and washer to secure the shank to the sink.
-Slide the provided gasket onto the spray holder.
-Slide the spray holder through the mounting hole from above.
-From under the sink, securely hand tighten the nut.
-Insert the handspray hose through the spray holder, and attach the
hose to the shank tee, using thread sealant.

2. Valve Body/Tee Installation
-Apply thread sealant to the coupling nut threads of the flexible
hoses, and thread the flexible hoses to the valve body outlets.
-Tighten securely, but do not overtighten.
-Apply a bead of plumbers putty or other sealant to the undersides of
the handle escutcheons according to the putty manufacturer’s
instructions.
-Insert the valve bodies into the mounting holes from the top of the
sink. Make sure the hot valve body (marked red) is installed in the
left-hand hole (as viewed from the front of the sink).
-Install a washer and nut to the bottom of the valve bodies.
-Align the valve bodies so the copper tubing faces to the outside.
-Wrench tighten the nuts.
-Remove any excess plumbers putty.
-Connect the hoses to the shank tee, and tighten.

3. Handle Installation
-Rotate the valve stem to the closed position and thread the bonnet
onto the escutcheon.
-Lever Handle: Insert the stem extension into the bonnet and press it
onto valve stem. Properly align the lever handle, press onto the stem
extension, and secure with the screw.
-Six-Prong Handle: Insert the stem extension into the bonnet and
press it onto the valve stem. Secure the stem extension with the screw.
Press the handle onto the stem extension with the text on the ceramic
button properly aligned. Secure with the setscrew.

4. Supply Installation
-If the sink is not yet installed, install it at this time.
-Slide the coupling nuts and ferrules onto the supply tubes.
-Carefully insert the supply tubes into the valve inlets and shut-off
valve outlets (if used) and secure with coupling nuts.
-Carefully position the round end of the supply tube squarely to the
valve inlet and supply stop.
-Tighten all coupling nuts.
5. Installation Checkout
-Ensure that all coupling nuts are tight.
-Ensure that both faucet handles are turned off (hot = clockwise close,
cold = counterclockwise close).
-Turn on the water and check for leaks.
-Remove the aerator.
-Open both the hot and cold valves and run water through the spout
for about a minute to remove any debris.
-Repair as required.
-Check for leaks.
-Remove any debris from the aerator.
-Turn the water off, and re-install the aerator.

Avant de commencer
-Couper l’arrivée d’eau principale.
-Respecter les codes de plomberie locaux.
-S’il est possible, installer le robinet avant d’installer l’évier.
-Si l’on doit couper les tubes d’arrivée d’eau, prévoir la longueur de
pénétration requise dans la sortie du robinet d’arrêt.
-Vérifier si les conduites d’arrivée d’eau sont endommagées.
Remplacer les conduites au besoin.

1. Installation du bec verseur et de la
douchette
REMARQUE :Avant d’appliquer le mastic d’étanchéité sous
l’applique, s’assurer de bien loger le joint torique dans la rainure à
la surface intérieure.
-Appliquer du mastic d’étanchéité ou un produit semblable sur le
dessous de l’applique selon la notice du fabricant du mastic.
-Visser l’écrou et la rondelle au bas de la queue.
-Introduire la queue, à partir du bas de l’évier, enfiler l’applique sur
la queue et visser le bec verseur sur la queue.
-Dévisser sur 1/8e de tour après la fin du serrage du bec verseur.
-Serrer l’écrou et la rondelle pour fixer la queue contre l’évier.
-Enfiler la bague d’étanchéité fournie sur le porte douchette.
-Introduire le porte douchette dans le trou de montage à partir du
dessus.
-Par dessous l’évier, serrer l’écrou à la main et à fond.
-Introduire le flexible de douchette dans le porte douchette et visser
le flexible sur le Té de la queue en utilisant du ruban d’étanchéité
pour filets.

2. Installation du corps de valve et du Té
-Appliquer du ruban d’étanchéité sur les filets de raccordement des
flexibles et visser ces derniers dans le corps des valves.
-Ne pas trop serrer.
-Appliquer du mastic d’étanchéité ou un produit semblable sur les
dessous des appliques des valves selon la notice du fabricant du
mastic.
-Introduire les corps de valve dans les trous de montage par le dessus
del’évier.S’assurerdemettrelavalved’eauchaude(marquéeen
rouge) à gauche, lorsqu’on fait face à l’évier.
-Installer une rondelle et un écrou sur l’extrémité des corps de valve.
-Aligner les corps de valve de manière à orienter les tubes en cuivre
vers l’avant.
-Serrerlesécrousàlaclé.
-Enlever tout excédent de mastic.
-Raccorder les flexibles au Té de queue et serrer les raccords.

3. Installation des poignées
-Tourner la tige de valve vers la position fermée et visser l’enjoliveur
sur l’applique.
-Poignée à levier : introduire la rallonge de tige dans l’enjoliveur et
l’appuyer contre la tige de valve. Aligner correctement la poignée à
levier, l’appuyer contre la rallonge de tige et la fixer à l’aide de la vis.
-Poignée à six branches : introduire la rallonge de tige dans
l’enjoliveur et l’appuyer contre la tige de valve. Fixer la rallonge de
tige à l’aide de la vis. Appuyer la poignée contre la rallonge de tige en
s’assurant d’aligner correctement le texte gravé sur le bouton en
