Safety instructions
■ Before use, check the device for visible external damage.
Do not use a device that has been damaged or dropped.
■ This device may be used by children aged 8 over and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under
supervision or have been told how to use the device safely and
are aware of the potential risks. Children must not play with the
device. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be carried
out by children unless they are supervised.
■ Do not make any unauthorised modifications or alterations to the
device.
■ Repairs to the device during the warranty period may only be
carried out by a customer service department authorised by the
manufacturer. Otherwise no additional warranty claims can be
considered for subsequent damage.
■ Ensure that the device is not exposed to dust, dirt, oil or fat.
■ The device must not be exposed to extremes of temperature,
direct sunlight, strong vibrations or severe mechanical forces.
■ Please comply with the legislation in the respective country if
people are to be monitored with this camera.
■ Ensure that all electrical connections and connecting cables
between the devices are correctly installed as described in the
operating instructions.
■ Protect the device from moisture and liquid penetration.
■ If the device is to be used in combination with other equipment,
such as a monitor, ensure that the operating instructions and
safety instructions of these devices are also followed.
■ The connecting cable must not be pinched, kinked or routed over
sharp edges.
■ Route the cable so that there is no danger of tripping and so that
the cable will not get damaged.
■ The connectors for the connecting cables must not be exposed
to moisture. The connectors must therefore (in case of external
installation) be protected against penetration by liquids.
