How to Perform a Search for specific information
in an Electronic PDF document
Here are quick tips to search for a word or a phrase in an electronic PDF document.
Open the PDF document you would like to perform the search.
There are couple ways you can perform the search:
Search through EDIT TAB.
1. Edit ,Search. A search
screen on the right hand side
will appear.
2. Type in the word or the phrase
you would like to search for on
the search field.
3. The results will be listed on the
right hand side of the screen.
4. When you click on a search
result, the screen consisting that
word or phrase will appear.
Search using CONTROL
+F
(on your keyboard)
You can also perform a search of a
word or phrase in an electronic PDF
document through this key combination.
1. When you click on Control + F simultaneously, asearch toolbar will appear.
2. You can type the word or the
phrase you would like to find out
and then click next.
3. Every time you click Next, the screen that contains the word

The bizhub C360, C280 and C220, the latest additions to the bizhub
family, replace the award-winning C353 series. These new multifunctional
products offer new features and functions along with the many prized
Konica Minolta technologies, for more efficient operation and easier workflow.
This new series offers speeds of 36 ppm, 28 ppm and 22 ppm, making
itpossible to address any workgroup user’s diverse multifunction needs.
The C360 series is designed to be the “solution” for everyday office needs
providing all the copy, print, scan, fax, security and management features
with high impact image quality at an affordable price.
There are many new features available with the C360, C280 and C220:
PRODUCT DESIGN
The C360 series is the most compact MFP series in the bizhub family featuring
the InfoLine design. The InfoLine system provides the users with an at-a-glance
look at the information flow at the MFP while offering productivity and efficiency.
The series also offers Konica Minolta’s exclusive Simitri®HD toner technology
for exceptional color-quality.
The easy to use 8.5" Control panel has been carried over
with added functionality:
• Animation Guidance for easy troubleshooting.
• Easier attachment of the Control Panel saves time and reduces costs.
• Additional placement option for the Control Panel – the Side Panel
Kit. In addition toplacing the control panel
inthe front of the MFP,
it can also be mounted
on the Side Panel Kit for
space-saving purposes.
The Side Panel Kit acts as
another type of Working Table
offering space for the Control
Panel and security options
such as AU-102 orAU-201H.

The compact design of C360 series is reflected in the finishing options aswell,
making the whole system easy to place in any environment:
• FS-527 50-sheet Floor Finisher supports Saddle Stitcher Kit
SD-509, Punch Kit PK-517 and a Job Separator (3rd Output Tray)
JS-603 for any booklet or hole-punch needs.
• FS-529 50-sheet Inner Finisher supports stapling and electronic sorting.
• JS-505 Job Separator helps to sort copy, print and fax output.
Another improvement in the design of these new MFPs, is the placement
of the standard USB ports and the ability to plug in a thumb drive in the right
side-front of the MFP. The number of the USB ports is increased on the bizhub
C360 series. These remaining ports are easily accessible on the rear side of the
device. All the USB features and functions that were supported with the previous
models also are available with the C360 series plus:
• Export files from User Box to a USB.
• Import files from USB to a User Box.
• External Keyboard for easier typing experience.
• Special port for easy firmware download directly from USB (service only).
The paper drawers are enhanced for optimal user experience. The smooth pull
drawers can be easily opened with even one finger.
The compact design isalso reflected in the consumables. The new consumable
system allows having alower CPC and TCO as well as an extended life-time
ofthese consumables.

CONTROLLER
The C360, C280 and C220 are equipped with the exclusive Emperon Print
System that supports network printing (PCL 6, PS3 and native XPS printing),
digital copying and network scanning (Email, FTP, SMB, HDD/User Box, WebDAV,
TWAIN) as well as variety of security functions. Optional fax is also available
with these series. The MFPs support standard 2 GB memory and 250 GB HDD
for fast processing. There are many new technologies available with C360 series:

PAPER HANDLING
The bizhub C360, C280 and C220 offer a standard paper capacity of 1,150 sheets
with two 500-sheet universal drawers and a 150-sheet multi-bypass tray. The paper
capacity can be increased to 3,650 sheets. There are several different options
available as additional paper drawers: PC-107 a 500-sheet tray with a storage
drawer; PC-207 a 2x500-sheet tray, and PC-408, a 2,500-sheet tray for letter-
size paper only. A Copy Desk (DK-507) is also available in order to bring the
products toanoperational height, to attach a finisher or for storage purposes.
The series can handle up to 271 gsm (100 lb. cover) and 12" x 18" size paper.
Thehigh-performance RADF (DF-617) provides high scan speeds up to 70 opm.

Gartner —Market Information (April 2009)
Gartner Dataquest acts as a global adviser to technology vendors such
as Konica Minolta. They collect and analyze data that is used by manufacturers
to study market data and market trends. Among the services that they provide
is a yearly forecast of the upcoming months as well as a yearly comparison
of sales by segment by manufacturer.
Gartner reported that for 2009 the forecast for Color MFPs is for an overall unit
growth of 2.5% over 2008. The market is expected to see continuous growth over
the next few years. The forecast period (2008-13) will end with a CAGR of 4.0%
with the highest growth rates in 2012 and 2013, 5.0% and 5.1% respectively.
The 21-30 ppm segment is expected to have negative unit sales CAGR of 1.8%.
With small year-over-year declines throughout the 5 year period. The decrease
inthis segment is mostly attributed to A3 (a product that supports up to 11" x 17"
media) MFPs. A4 (a product that supports up to 8.5" x 14" media) machines will see
a growth and by 2013 will account for 25% of this segment, up from 17% in 2008.
The 31-40 ppm segment will benefit from the upstream movement of the 21-30ppm
products and is expected to see a positive 5.8% CAGR. The introduction of more
A4 MFPs to this segment is expected to be a growing trend in the next 5 years.
