will provide you with valuable information necess ary for the proper
care and maintenance of your new product. Thoroughly read the
instructions and familiarize yourself with all the operational aspects
of your new product.
IMPORTANT IN STRUCTIONS
1. R ead ALL ins truc tions before using this unit.
2. C AUTION: R isk of E lectric S hock. DO NOT open or try
to repair the heater yours elf.
3. This heater may get hot when in us e. To avoid burns,
DO NOT let bare s kin touch hot su rfaces . If provided, us e
handle(s) when moving this heater. DO NOT place it
agains t walls, furniture, curtains, etc.
4. Keep combus tible materials, such as furniture, pillows ,
bedding, paper, clothes , and curtains at least 3 ft from the
front of the heater and keep them away from the sides ,
top, and rea r. DO NOT place towels or other objects on
the heater.
5. E xtreme caution is neces sa ry when any heater is used.
6. DO NOT operate any heater with a damaged c ord or
after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or dam-
aged in any manner. R eturn heater to authorized s ervice
facility for examination, elec trical or mechanical adjust-
ment, or repair.
7. This heater is not intended for us e in bathrooms , laundry
areas, s howers or swimming pools and s imilar locations.
NE VE R locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or
other water container. To protect agains t elec trical haz-
ards, DO NOT immers e in water or other liquids .
8. DO NOT touch the control panel or plug with a wet hand.
9. DO NOT run cord under carpeting. DO NOT c over cord
with throw rugs, runners , or similar c overings . Arrange
cord away from traf carea and where it will not be tripped
over.

shock or re, or damage the heater.
11. To prevent a pos s ible re, DO NOT block the air intakes or
exhaus t in any manner. DO NOT us e on soft su rfac es, like
a bed, where openings may bec ome blocked.
12. A heater has hot and arcing or s parking parts inside. DO
NOT use in areas where gasoline, paint, explos ive and/or
ammable liquids are us ed or stored. Keep unit away from
heated surfaces and open ames.
13. Always plug heaters direc tly into a wall outlet/receptacle.
Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap
(outlet/power s trip).
14. To avoid re or shock hazard, plug the unit direc tly into a
120 V AC electrical outlet.
15. To dis connec t heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove
plug from outlet. Pull rmly on the plug, DO NOT unplug
by pulling on the cord.
16. Always unplug the unit before moving or cleaning, or
whenever the heater is not in use.
17. Us e only for intended hous ehold us e as desc ribed in this
manual. Any other use not rec ommended by the manufac -
turer may caus e re, electric s hock, or injury to persons.
The us e of attachments not rec ommended or sold by
unauthorized dealers may cause hazards.
18. Always use on a dry, level surface. Us e on oor only.
19. DO NOT use outdoors.
20. WAR NING : To reduce the risk of re or electric shock,
DO NOT us e this unit with any s olid-s tate speed control
device.
21. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjus t any electrical or
mechanical func tions on this unit. Doing s o will void your
warranty. The ins ide of the unit contains no user service-
able parts.

WARNING
It is normal for the power cord to feel warm to the touch; however, a loose fit between
the outlet and the plug may cause overheating of the plug. If this occurs, try inserting
the plug into a different outlet. Contact a qualified electrician to inspect the original
outlet for damage.
THIS APPLIANCE HAS APOLARIZED PLUG (one blade is
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet.
DO NOTATTEMPT TO MODIFY THIS PLUG OR DEFEAT THIS
SAFETY FEATURE IN ANY WAY.
Tip-Over Safety Feature
This heater is equipped with a shut-off safety feature. Once the
heater is tipped over, an internal switch will automatically shut the
heater off. Once the heater is restored an upright position, the
heater will reset. To continue operation, press the power button
on the control panel or remote control.
Overheat Safety Feature
This heater is equipped with an overheat safety feature. When the
heater’s internal components reach a certain temperature that
could cause overheating and possible fire, the heater will automat-
ically shut off.
• Athermaloverload protectorisbuiltin topreventover-heating. Whenan
“overheat”temperatureis reached,the heaterwillautomaticallyshut off. Operation can
resumeonly whentheuserresetstheunit.
• Toreset theunit,unplugtheheater, ensurethepoweristurnedoff,and wait 15
to20 minutesfortheunittocooldown.
• FollowINSTRUCTIONS FORUSE to returnheatertooperatingmode.

It is normal for the heater to cycle ON and OFF as it maintains
the preset temperature. To prevent the unit from cycling, you
need to change the thermostat setting.

may be present. This is normal and should not occur again unless
the heater is not used for an extended period of time.

1. Place the product on a rm, level surface.
2. Plug the unit directly into a 120 V AC electrical outlet.
3. Rotate the POWER KNOB clockwise to select
between (fan only), (low heat) or (high heat).
LOW position operates the heater at 750 watts conserving
energy and HIGH position operates the heater at a maxium

1500 watts.
Turn the THERMOSTAT KNOB clockwise to the highest
setting.
5. When the room reaches a comfortable temperature,
slowly turn the THERMOSTAT KNOB counter-clockwise
until the heating element clicks OFF.
6. This is the point at which the Thermostat setting equals
the room temperature. At this setting, the Thermostat will
automatically turn the heater ON and OFF to maintain the
selected temperature.
7. Turn the POWER KNOB to OFF and unplug the heater
whe ished using.

MAINTENANCE
STORAGE
1. Turn the POWE R KNOB to the O (OFF) position.
2. Unplug the unit and let it cool completely.
3. To keep the heater clean, t he outer shell may be cleaned
with a soft, damp cloth. A mild detergent can be used if
neces s ary.
4. After cleaning, dry the unit with a soft cloth.
5. Wait until the unit is completely dry before us e.
S tore the heater in a cool, dry location when not in us e. To prevent
dus t and dirt build-up, use the original packaging to repack the
unit.
WARNING
• DO NOT let liquid enter the heater.
• DO NOT use alcohol, gas oline, abras ive powders,
furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the heater.
This may caus e damage or deterioration to the s urface
of the heater.
• DO NOT immerse the heater in water.

If the heater will not operate, pleas e check the following:
1. C heck if the power cord is plugged into an electrical
outlet. If not, plug in unit to appropriate outlet.
2. C heck if elec tricity to the outlet is working
3. E ns ure power is turned to ON pos ition.
4. Make s ure heater is plac ed o solid surface.
5. S ee S AF E T Y FE AT UR ES s ec tion for additional information.
The product is equipped with tip-over switch inside. When the product
tips over abnormally during its use, it can cut o power automatically.
NOTICE
The product is equipped with an overhe a t s a fety fea ture
protec tor whic h will switch off the heater in c as e of acc idental
over heating (ex. Obs truction of air intake and outlet grills,
motor turning slowly or not at all).

1 Year Limited Warranty: Konwin warrants this heater against
defects in materials and workmanship on functional parts, for a
period of one year from the original date of purchase. Your sales
receipt showing the date of purchase of the product is your
proof of purchase. Keep it in a safe place for future reference.
Manufacturer Warranty
All Konwin products are manufactured with the highest quality
materials and are warranted to be free from defects in material
and workmanship at the time of purchase. This limited warranty
applies to products manufactured or distributed by the Konwin
brand name, are delivered in the continental United States, and
extends to the original purchaser, or gift recipient. This warranty

idence of alteration, erasing, or forgery of proof of purchase doc-
uments will be just cause to VOID this limited warranty. Products,
in which the serial number has been defaced or removed, are not
eligible for warranty coverage.
