Before you connect this device
In order to use the DS-DAC-10R on Windows (ASIO), you’ll need to
make driver seings.
It is important that you do not connect the DS-DAC-10R to your com-
puter before you have installed the driver.
Carefully read the section entitled “Download and Install,” and down-
load and install the Setup program before you connect the DS-DAC-10R
to your computer.
Introduction
Features
The DS-DAC-10R is a USB DAC/ADC that supports 1-bit DSD native play-
back/record* on Windows (ASIO/WDM) or Mac (Core Audio).
By using it in conjunction with the AudioGate4 HIGH RESOLUTION MU-
SIC PLAYER application, you can enjoy native playback/record of high-
quality 1-bit DSD sound.
* Use AudioGate for DSD native playback/recording. On Windows, this
may also be possible with applications that support ASIO 2.1 DSD.

Download and Install
Windows users
Use the KORG AudioGate and USB Audio Device Setup program to in-
stall the ASIO driver and AudioGate.
Do not connect the DS-DAC-10R to your computer before you’ve fin-
ished installing the driver. If you’ve already connected it, disconnect it;
thenreconnectitafteryou’venishedinstallingthedriver.
Installing the ASIO driver/AudioGate

Access the following AudioGate 4 download page:

Choose “AudioGate and USB Audio Device Setup,” and press the Win-
dowsversionofdownloadbuontodownloadthesetupprogram.

Decompress the downloaded .zip file. In the “KORG AudioGate and
USB Audio Device Setup” folder, run Setup. The KORG AudioGate and
USB Audio Device Setup panel appears.

Click “Install DS-DAC-10R Driver” to install the ASIO driver.

If you want to install AudioGate, click “Install AudioGate” in the KORG
AudioGate and USB Audio Device Setup panel.
Carefully read “Activating AudioGate” which appears during installa-
tion, and then complete the installation.

Click “Finish” to exit the setup program.
If you’re recording with an application other than AudioGate, you’ll
needtousethe“DS-DAC-10RSeingTool”tosettheinputlevel.Click
“InstalltheDS-DAC-10RSeingTool”toinstallit.
• ASIO driver installation procedure
The installation screens shown on your computer may differ somewhat
depending on your Windows version and system, but the procedure is the
same. The explanation that follows will show typical screens in Windows 7.
If, during installation, amessage appearedto conrm whether or notto
continue the installation, click [Install].

In the KORG AudioGate and USB Audio Device Setup panel that you
downloaded, click “Install DS-DAC-10R Driver” to start the installer.

In the language selection menu, choose English; click [OK].

The dialog box will appear; click [Next >].

If you accept the license agreement, click [Install] to begin installation.

If a security warning appears, click [Install].

Preparations for installation are now complete. Click [Finish] to exit the
installer.

Connect the DS-DAC-10R to your computer.
Wait until Windows displays the message “The device driver software
was installed correctly.”
Mac OS users
Use the KORG AudioGate and USB Audio Device Setup program to in-
stall AudioGate. If you’re using AudioGate, it is not necessary to install
the driver.

versionofdownloadbuontodownloadthesetupprogram.

Open the .dmgle. Inthe “KORGAudioGate and USB Audio Device
Setup” folder, run Setup. The KORG AudioGate and USB Audio Device
Setup panel appears.

Click “Install AudioGate” in the KORG AudioGate and USB Audio De-
vice Setup panel.
Carefully read “Activating AudioGate” which appears during installa-
tion, and then complete the installation.

Click “Finish” to exit the setup program.
If you’re recording with an application other than AudioGate, you’ll

The DS-DAC-10R operates on USB bus power. It does not need an AC
adaptor or any other external power supply.
Use the included USB cable to connect the unit to your computer and to
verify that it’s working.
Whenever possible, you should connect this unit directly to a USB port
on your computer. If you cannot avoid using a USB hub, you should use
a USB hub that has its own power supply. A bus-powered USB hub may
be unable to supply enough power.

连接本机之前
为了能够在 Windows 上使用 DS-DAC-10R（ASIO），您需要设置驱动程序。
为了确保能够顺利选择这些设置，安装驱动程序之前请勿将 D S - D A C -
10R 连接至您的计算机。
将 DS-DAC-10R 连接至计算机之前，请仔细阅读标题为“下载并安装”

DS-DAC-10R 是一种 USB DAC/ADC，支持在 Windows（ASIO/WDM）或 Mac（Core
Audio）上进行 1 位的 DSD 原生播放 / 录音 *。
通过配合使用 AudioGate4 HIGH RESOLUTION MUSIC PLAYER，您可以播
放 / 录制高品质原生的 1 位 DSD 声音。

使用 KORG AudioGate 和 USB Audio Device Setup 安装程序安装
ASIO 驱动程序和 AudioGate。
完成安装驱动程序之前请勿将 DS-DAC-10R 连接至计算机。如果已经
连接了，请断开连接；然后完成安装驱动程序之后重新连接。

• ASIO 驱动程序安装步骤
如下所示计算机安装屏幕可能根据您的 Windows 版本和系统的不同而
有所不同，但是步骤是相同的。以下讲解说明了 Windows 7 中的常见屏幕。
如果在安装期间，系统询问您是否继续安装，请单击 [Install]。

在所下载的 KORG AudioGate 和 USB Audio Device Setup 面板中，
单击“Install DS-DAC-10R Driver”启动安装程序。

在语言选择菜单中选择 English；单击 [OK]。

系统将显示以下对话框；单击 [Next >]。

如果您接受授权许可协议，则单击 [Install] 开始安装。

如果显示安全警告，单击 [Install]。

安装准备工作完毕。单击 [Finish] 退出安装程序。

将 DS-DAC-10R 连接至计算机。
等待 Windows 显示两次“The device driver software was
installed correctly”消息。
Mac OS 用户
使用 KORG AudioGate 和 USB Audio Device Setup 安装程序安装
AudioGate。如果您正在使用 AudioGate，则无需安装驱动程序。

DS-DAC-10R 使用 USB 端口提供的总线电源；不需要 AC 适配器或任
何外部电源。
使用随附的 USB 线缆将本机连接至您的计算机，验证其是否工作正
常。
如有可能，请将本机直接连接至您计算机的 U S B 端口上。如果您只
能使用 USB 集线器，您应该使用自己拥有电源的 USB 集线器。总线
供电的 USB 集线器可能无法提供足够的电源电量。

本機を接続する前に
Windows（ASIO）で DS-DAC-10Rを使用する場合は、ドライバーの設定が必要です。
設定を円滑に行うため、ドライバーのインストール前に本機とコンピューターの接続
を行わないでください。

Windowsの場合
ASIOドライバー、AudioGateのインストールをKORG AudioGate and USB
Audio Device Setupプログラムで行います。
ドライバーのインストール完了前にDS-DAC-10Rをコンピューターに接続しない
でください。既に接続してしまっている場合は一旦取り外してドライバーのイン
ストール完了後に接続し直してください。

タンを押して、Setupファイルをダウンロードしてください。

ダウンロードしたZIPファイルを解凍して、“KORG AudioGate and USB Audio
Device Setup”フォルダー内のSetupを実行し、KORG AudioGate and USB
Audio Device Setupパネルを表示します。

“DS-DAC-10R ドライバーのインストール”をクリックしてASIOドライバーをイ
ンストールしてください（次項「• ASIOドライバーのインストール手順」参照）。

続けてAudioGateをインストールするときは、KORG AudioGate and USB
Audio Device Setupパネルの“ AudioGateのインストール”をクリックしてくだ
さい。
インストール中に表示される“ AudioGateのアクティベーションについて”をよく

“終了”をクリックし、Setupプログラムを終了してください。
AudioGate以外で録音する場合にはインプット・レベルを設定するDS-DAC-10R
Setting Toolが必要です。“DS-DAC-10R設定ツールのインストール”をクリック
してインストールしてください。
• ASIOドライバーのインストール手順
Windowsのバージョンや環境によってコンピューターに表示されるインストール画
面は多少異なりますが、手順は一緒です。ここではWindows 7の標準的な画面で説明
を行います。
インストールの途中で、インストールするかしないかを尋ねるダイアログが表示され
た場合には【インストール】をクリックしてください。

ダウンロードしたKORG AudioGate and USB Audio Device Setupパネルの
“ DS-DAC-10R ドライバーのインストール ”をクリックして、インストーラーを起
動します。

言語の選択ダイアログが現れるので、「日本語」を選び、【OK】をクリックします。

ダイアログが現れるので、【次へ（N） >】をクリックします。

使用許諾契約の条項に同意したら、【インストール】をクリックして、インストール
を開始してください。

セキュリティ警告が表示されたら【インストール】をクリックします。

インストールの準備が完了しました。【完了（ F）】をクリックしてインストーラーを
終了させます。

本機とコンピューターを接続してください。
“デバイス ドライバー ソフトウェアが正しくインストールされました。”という
Windowsからのメッセージが表示されるまでお待ちください。
Macの場合
AudioGateのインストールをKORG AudioGate and USB Audio Device Setup
プログラムで行います。AudioGateを使用する場合はドライバーのインストールは不
要です。

本機はUSBポートからのバス・パワー電源で動作します。ACアダプターなどの外部
電源は不要です。
初期設定、動作確認時には付属のUSBケーブルをお使いください。
できるだけパソコン本体のUSBポートへ直接接続してお使いください。やむを得
ずUSBハブを使う場合、電源付きのUSBハブをお使いください。バス・パワー・タ
イプのUSBハブでは十分な電力を確保できない可能性があります。
