PA-50HZ Quick Start Guide
Thisguide helps you install and use your PA-50HZ for the first time.
Go to http://www.kramerav.com/downloads/PA-50HZ to download the latest user manual and check if
firmware upgrades are available.

Step 2: Get to know your PA-50HZ

ON LED
Lights green when powered on, orange when in standby.

PROTECT LED
Lights red in case of over-current / short circuit / over-heat.
The device powers down until operational conditions are corrected and automatically
powers up.

INPUT 5-pin Terminal Block
Connector
Connect to a line-level, balanced, stereo audio source.

VOLUME Attenuator
Volume for speaker output.

LINE OUT 5-pin Terminal Block
Connector
Connect to a balanced, stereo audio acceptor (for example, amplified speakers).

Hi-Z Out 3-pin Large Terminal Block
Connectors
Connect Hi-Z and COM to mono Hi-Z speakers.
Speaker can output a mono signal.

48V DC Power Terminal Block
Connector
Connect to the Kramer power adapter.
Step 3: Install the PA-50HZ
Install PA-50HZ using one of the following methods:
•Mount the unit in a rack using an optional RK-1 rack adapter.
•Attach the rubber feet and place the unit on a flat surface.
Step 4: Connect the input and outputs
Always switch OFF the power on each device before
connecting it to your PA-50HZ. For best results,
we recommend that you always use Kramer
high-performance cables to connect AV equipment to
the PA-50HZ.

Step 5: Connect the power
Connect the power cord to PA-50HZ and plug it into the mains electricity.

Caution:
There are no operator serviceable parts inside the unit.

Use only the power cord that is supplied with the unit.
Warning:
Do not open the unit. High voltages can cause electrical shock! Servicing by qualified personnel only.
