1 a. Switch off power at circuit.
b. Remove the front panel from
the body by removing the four
corner xing screws.
c. Take out the xings bag from
the inside of the unit.

PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
2 a. Drill out the intended cable
Ø20mm entry hole suitable for
your installation.
b. Secure the luminaire to the
mounting surface at the Ø4mm
screw points indicated using the
supplied self tapping screws.

4a. Connect to mains power in accordance
with current wiring regulations, the mains
connector is located on the lower right of
the circuitboard (see wiring diagram).
b. Mark installation date on battery and
connect battery cable.

5a. Ret the front panel to the body with the
screws from part 1b.
b. Switch on the power at circuit.
3 a. Fit the waterproof connector to
the entry point and pass the mains
supply into the luminaire.
b. Pass the mains cable through the
cable retention bracket and tighten.
c. Wire the luminaire to mains in
accordance with current wiring
regulations, the mains connector
is located on the lower right of the
circuitboard.

TESTING
24hrs Initial charge time required.
The emergency lighting must be inspected and tested regularly in accordance
with local codes of practice:
note: for safety reasons tests should be carried out during daylight hours.
AFTER INSTALLATION
Allow 24 hours to ensure full battery charge and then interrupt the supply; the
maximum duration time is 3 hours check that LEDs are still lighting.
FUNCTIONAL TEST (Short)
Monthly, interrupt mains for a short period and check LED lights.
DURATION TEST
Full duration test should be carried out annually, interrupt mains and check LED
lights. LEDs will light and should last for a minimum 3 hours operation:
batteries must be replaced when they can no longer support 3 hour operation.
LED STATUS COMMENT
Green Standby, system ok Mains operation, battery charging
Off Battery Operation Emergency mode:
Mains disconnected or Mains failure
