CONSIGNES IMPORTANTES DE SECURITÉ
Lisez attentivement le mode d’emploi avant la première utilisation de votre appareil : une uti-
lisation non conforme au mode d’emploi dégagerait Krups de toute responsabilité.
■ Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être utilisé par des personnes (y compris les enfants) dont les
capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites ou des personnes dénuées d’expérience
ou de connaissance, sauf si elles ont pu bénéficier, par l’intermédiaire d’une personne responsable de
leur sécurité, d’une surveillance ou d’instructions préalables concernant l’utilisation de l’appareil. Il
convient de surveiller les enfants pour s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.
■ Avant de brancher cet appareil dans la prise secteur, vérifiez que la tension d’alimentation de votre
appareil correspond bien à celle de votre installation électrique. Sinon, vous risquez d'endommager
l'appareil ou de vous blesser.
Toute erreur de branchement annule la garantie.
■ Votre appareil est destiné uniquement à un usage domestique et à l’intérieur de la maison.
■ Pour éviter les chocs électriques, n'utilisez jamais l'appareil avec les mains mouillées ou sur une surface
humide ou mouillée. Evitez de mouiller les composants électriques de l'appareil et ne les plongez jamais
dans l'eau.
■ Pour éviter les accidents, ce produit ne doit pas être utilisé par un enfant ou par toute personne n'ayant
pas lu les instructions.
■ Il convient de surveiller les enfants pour s'assurer qu'ils ne jouent pas avec l'appareil.
■ Débranchez votre appareil dès que vous cessez de l’utiliser et lorsque vous le nettoyez ou en cas de
coupure de courant.
■ N’utilisez pas votre appareil s’il ne fonctionne pas correctement ou s’il a été endommagé.
Dans ce cas, adressez-vous à un centre service agréé Krups (voir feuillet «Krups Service Stations»).
■ Mettre l’appareil à l’arrêt et le déconnecter avant de changer les accessoires ou d’approcher des parties
qui sont mobiles en fonctionnement.
■ Toute intervention autre que le nettoyage et l’entretien usuel par le client doit être effectuée par un
centre service agréé Krups.
■ Ne mettez pas l’appareil, le câble d’alimentation ou la fiche dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide.
■ Ne laissez pas pendre le câble d’alimentation à portée de mains des enfants.
■ Le câble d’alimentation ne doit jamais être à proximité ou en contact avec les parties chaudes de votre
appareil, près d’une source de chaleur ou sur angle vif.
■ Pour conserver la garantie de l'appareil et éviter tout problème technique, n'essayez jamais de démonter
ou de réparer vous-même l'appareil et ne laissez aucune personne non qualifiée le faire. Portez l'appareil
dans un service après-vente agréé.
■ Ne déplacez ni ne débranchez jamais l'appareil en tirant sur le cordon d'alimentation pour ne pas altérer
le bon fonctionnement de l'appareil et éviter tout risque d'accident.

■ Si le câble d’alimentation ou la fiche sont endommagés, n’utilisez pas l’appareil. Afin d’éviter tout danger,
faites-les obligatoirement remplacer par un centre service agréé Krups (voir feuillet «Krups Service
Stations») .
■ Pour votre sécurité, n’utilisez que des accessoires et des pièces détachées Krups adaptés à votre
appareil.
■ Pour éviter les chocs électriques, assurez-vous que vos doigts n'entrent pas en contact avec les
broches de la prise lorsque vous branchez ou débranchez l'appareil.
■ Ne laissez pas l'appareil en fonctionnement ou branché sur sa prise lorsque vous vous éloignez, même
pour quelques instants, surtout en présence d'enfants.
■ Ne branchez pas d'autres appareils sur la même prise secteur en utilisant des adaptateurs, afin d'éviter
toute surcharge électrique susceptible d'endommager l'appareil ou de provoquer des accidents.
N’utilisez une rallonge qu’après avoir vérifié que celle-ci est en bon état.
■ Pour votre sécurité, cet appareil est conforme aux normes et réglementations applicables :

- Matériaux en contact avec les aliments
■ Ne touchez pas les fouets, les malaxeurs, le fouet multibrins (selon modèle) lorsque
l’appareil est en fonctionnement. Ne laissez pas pendre les cheveux longs, les écharpes, etc
au dessus des accessoires en fonctionnement.
■ Toujours déconnecter l’appareil de l’alimentation si on le laisse sans surveillance avant
montage, démontage ou nettoyage.
■ Ne positionnez pas des accessoires de fonction différente en même temps
PRECAUTIONS D’EMPLOI
■ Vérifiez toujours que le sélecteur de vitesse est en position « 0 » avant de mettre l’appareil sous tension.
■ Pour éviter tout accident, veillez à ce que vos cheveux, vos vêtements ou autres objets ne se prennent
pas dans les parties mobiles de l'appareil.
■ Ne touchez pas les fouets ou les malaxeurs lorsque l’appareil est branché et n'introduisez aucun objet
(couteau, fourchette, cuillère, etc.) dans les orifices, afin d'éviter de vous blesser, de provoquer des
accidents pour autrui ou d'endommager l'appareil. Vous pouvez utiliser une spatule uniquement lorsque
le produit n'est pas en fonctionnement.
■ Afin d’éviter d'endommager l'appareil, ne jamais mettre l'appareil et ses accessoires au congélateur, au
four traditionnel ou au microondes.
■ Les fouets et les malaxeurs sont conçus pour la préparation de produits alimentaires. Ne les utilisez
pas pour mixer d'autres produits.
MISE EN SERVICE
■ Avant la première utilisation, sortez les accessoires de leur emballage et nettoyez-les à l’eau chaude

UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL
■ Vérifiez que le sélecteur de vitesse (b) est en position « 0 ». (fig 1)
■ Introduisez les tiges des fouets (c) ou des malaxeurs (d) ou le fouet multibrins (selon modèle) (e) dans
les orifices prévus à cet effet. Le fouet multibrins (selon modèle) peut être positionné indifféremment
dans l’orifice gauche ou droite du corps de l’appareil.
Une fois en place, les deux fouets doivent avoir la même longueur. Ils sont correctement fixés et insérés
lorsque vous entendrez un «clic ».
■ Branchez l’appareil.
■ Selon la quantité à préparer, placez les ingrédients dans un récipient approprié (bol ou gobelet de
préférence creux).
■ Plongez les fouets dans la préparation avant de mettre en marche l’appareil, vous éviterez ainsi les
éclaboussures.
■ Mettez en marche l’appareil à l’aide du sélecteur de vitesse (b), d’abord en vitesse 1 puis 2 puis 3 à
mesure que la préparation s’épaissit (fig 3)
Votre appareil est équipé d’une commande Turbo qui vous permet par une simple pression de disposer
instantanément de toute la puissance. (fig. 4).
A la vitesse maximale ou en position "turbo", n'utilisez pas l'appareil pendant plus de 10 minutes avec les
fouets ou plus de 4 minutes 30 avec les crochets à pâte.
■ Avant de sortir les fouets de la préparation, arrêtez l’appareil (vous éviterez les éclaboussures). Remettez
la commande en position 0. (fig 5)
■ Débranchez l’appareil.
■ Dégagez les fouets, les malaxeurs ou le fouet multibrins (selon modèle) en appuyant sur la commande
d’éjection (b) (fig. 5).
NETTOYAGE
■ Débranchez l’appareil.
■ Ejectez obligatoirement les fouets, les malaxeurs ou le fouet multibrins (selon modèle) avant de les
nettoyer. (fig 5)
■ Nettoyer les fouets, les malaxeurs ou le fouet multibrins (selon modèle) immédiatement après l’utilisation
pour éviter que les restes de mélange d’oeufs ou d’huile ne restent collés ou séchés.
■ Vous pouvez nettoyer les fouets, les malaxeurs ou le fouet multibrins (selon modèle) avec une éponge
et du liquide vaisselle. Ils peuvent être mis au lave-vaisselle.
■ Nettoyer le corps de l’appareil uniquement avec une éponge humide et séchez soigneusement.
■ Ne jamais laver l’appareil au lave-vaisselle.
■ N’utilisez pas d’éponges abrasives ou d’objets contenant des parties métalliques.
■ Ne plongez jamais le corps de l’appareil dans l’eau. (fig 6)

Ce produit est réparable par KRUPS, pendant et après la période de garantie.
La Garantie
Ce produit est garanti par KRUPS (adresse et contacts dans la liste des pays de la Garantie
Internationale KRUPS) contre tout défaut de fabrication ou de matière, pendant 2 ans à partir de
la date d'achat et dans les pays précisés, tel que définis dans la liste en dernière page du mode
d'emploi.
Cette Garantie Internationale du fabricant KRUPS vient en complément des droits des
consommateurs.
La Garantie Internationale du fabricant couvre tous les coûts de remise en état d'un produit
reconnu défectueux pour redevenir conforme à ses spécifications d'origine, par la réparation, la
main d'œuvre, et le remplacement éventuel de pièces défectueuses. Au choix de KRUPS, un
produit de remplacement peut être proposé à la place de la réparation du produit défectueux.
Les obligations de KRUPS dans le cadre de cette garantie se limitent exclusivement à cette
réparation ou ce remplacement.
Conditions & Exclusions
La Garantie Internationale de KRUPS ne s'applique que pendant la période définie pour les pays
cités dans la Liste des Pays jointe, et n'est valable que sur présentation d'un justificatif d'achat.
Le produit peut être déposé directement chez un réparateur agréé, ou peut y être envoyé en
recommandé après avoir été emballé de manière adéquate. La liste complète des réparateurs
agréés dans chaque pays, avec leurs coordonnées complètes, est disponible sur le site de
KRUPS (www.krups.com), ou en appelant le numéro du Service Consommateur précisé dans la
Liste des Pays.
KRUPS n'a aucune obligation de réparer ou d'échanger un produit qui ne serait pas accompagné
d'un justificatif d'achat
Cette garantie ne couvre pas les dommages qui seraient le résultat d'une mauvaise utilisation,
d'une négligence, du non respect des instructions d'utilisation et de maintenance, de l'utilisation
avec une alimentation électrique non conforme à celle spécifiée sur la plaque signalétique, ou
d'une modification ou d'une réparation non autorisée du produit. Elle n'inclut également pas l'usure
normale du produit, ni la maintenance ou le remplacement de pièces consommables, ni les cas
suivant :
- utilisation d'une eau ou d’un consommable non adapté
- entartrage (tout détartrage doit être réalisé conformément aux instructions dans le
mode d'emploi)
- entrée d'eau, de poussière, d'insectes … dans le produit
- dommages dus à un choc, ou une surcharge
- tous accidents liés à un feu, une innondation, la foudre …
- usage professionnel ou sur un lieu de travail
- verre ou céramique endommagé

Cette garantie ne s'applique pas aux produits choqués, ou aux dommages résultant d'une
utilisation impropre ou sans entretien, aux problèmes d'emballage ou de transport pendant
l''expédition du produit par son propriétaire.
La Garantie Internationale de KRUPS couvre exclusivement les produits achetés dans un des
pays listés, et utilisé à des fins domestiques également dans un des pays listés dans Liste des
Pays. En cas d'utilisation dans un pays différent du pays d'achat :
a) La Garantie Internationalde de KRUPS ne s'applique qu'en cas d'adéquation du
produit avec les standards et normes locales, tels que le voltage, la fréquence
électrique, le type de prise électrique, ou toute autre spécification locale.
b) Le traitement de la Garantie Internationale peut prendre un temps supérieur aux
conditions locales de réparation si la référence du produit n'est pas elle-même
commercialisée par KRUPS dans le pays d'emploi
c) Au cas où le produit ne serait pas réparable dans le pays d'emploi, la Garantie
Internationale de KRUPS est limitée au remplacement par un produit équivalent
ou un produit alternatif de même valeur si c'est possible.
Droits des Consommateurs
Cette Garantie Internationale de KRUPS n'affecte ni les droits légaux dont bénéficie tout
consommateur localement, qui ne sauraient être exclus ou limités, ni les droits légaux envers un
distributeur auprès de qui aurait été acheté un produit. Cette Garantie donne au consommateur
des droits spécifiques, et le consommateur peut par ailleurs bénéficier des droits particuliers en
fonction du Pays, de l'Etat ou de la Province. Le consommateur peut faire usage de ces droits
de son seul fait.

Les accessoires, consommables, et autres pièces remplaçables directement par l'utilisateur,

Lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes aufmerksam
durch: Eine nicht der Bedienungsanleitung entsprechende Verwendung befreit Krups von
jeder Haftung.
■ Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür vorgesehen, von Personen (oder auch Kindern) mit verringerten körperlichen,
sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Personen, die keine entsprechende Erfahrung oder
Kenntnisse besitzen, verwendet zu werden, außer wenn sie von einer für ihre Sicherheit verantwortlichen
Person überwacht werden oder zuvor hinsichtlich der Nutzung des Geräts eingewiesen wurden. Kinder
müssen überwacht werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
■ Versichern Sie sich, bevor Sie dieses Gerät an das Stromnetz anschließen, dass die Betriebsspannung

■ Ziehen Sie nach der Benutzung und vor der Reinigung oder bei Stromausfall den Gerätestecker aus
der Steckdose.

einer Kundendienstwerkstatt von Krups ausgeführt werden.
■ Lassen Sie das Stromkabel nicht in Reichweite von Kindern herunterhängen.
■ Das Stromkabel darf nicht in die Nähe von sich drehenden Teilen des Gerätes geraten oder mit ihnen
in Berührung kommen; es muss von Hitzequellen und scharfen Kanten fern gehalten werden.
■ Damit die Garantie gültig bleibt und um technische Probleme zu vermeiden, sollten Sie niemals
versuchen, das Gerät selbst zu zerlegen oder zu reparieren und keine unqualifizierte Person damit
beauftragen. Bringen Sie das Gerät in eine autorisierte Kundendienstwerkstatt.
■ Das Gerät darf nicht durch Ziehen am Stromkabel transportiert oder ausgesteckt werden, andernfalls
könnte es nicht mehr richtig funktionieren oder ein Unfallrisiko entstehen.

■ Wenn das Stromkabel oder der Stecker beschädigt sind, darf das Gerät nicht benutzt werden. Um
jedwede Gefahr auszuschließen, darf das Stromkabel nur in einer autorisierten Kundendienstwerkstatt
von Krups ausgetauscht werden (siehe Liste „Krups Service Stations“).
■ Verwenden Sie zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit nur für Ihr Gerät geeignete Zubehör- und Ersatzteile von
Krups.
■ Achten Sie zur Vermeidung von Stromschlägen darauf, dass Ihre Finger beim Ein- und Ausstecken nicht
mit den Metallteilen der Steckdose in Berührung kommen.
■ Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht eingeschaltet oder an der Steckdose angeschlossen, wenn Sie sich, auch
nur für wenige Momente, entfernen, besonders wenn Kinder anwesend sind.
■ Benutzen Sie zur Vermeidung von elektrischen Überlastungen, die Ihr Gerät beschädigen oder Unfälle
hervorrufen könnten, keine Adapter, um weitere Geräte an derselben Steckdose anzuschließen.
Verwenden Sie nur Verlängerungskabel, von deren einwandfreiem Zustand Sie sich zuvor überzeugt
haben.

■ Verwenden Sie nicht Zubehörteile mit unterschiedlicher Funktion gleichzeitig.
VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN BEIM GEBRAUCH
■ Überprüfen Sie stets, ob der Stufenschalter auf der Position „0“ steht, bevor Sie das Gerät an das
Stromnetz anschließen.
■ Achten Sie zur Vermeidung von Unfällen darauf, dass sich Ihre Haare, Ihre Kleidung oder andere Objekte
nicht in den beweglichen Teilen des Geräts verfangen.
■ Berühren Sie die Rührbesen oder Knethaken nicht, wenn das Gerät angeschlossen ist, und führen Sie
keine Objekte in die Öffnungen ein (Messer, Gabel, Löffel, etc.), um Verletzungen, Unfälle anderer
Personen oder eine Beschädigung des Geräts zu vermeiden. Nur wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist,
dürfen Sie eine Spachtel benutzen.
■ Stellen Sie das Gerät und seine Zubehörteile niemals in die Gefriertruhe, den Ofen oder die Mikrowelle,
um Beschädigungen des Geräts zu vermeiden.
■ Die Rührbesen und Knethaken sind für die Zubereitung von Lebensmittelprodukten vorgesehen.
Verwenden Sie sie nicht, um andere Produkte zu mixen.
INBETRIEBNAHME
■ Nehmen Sie die Zubehörteile vor der ersten Verwendung aus ihrer Verpackung und reinigen Sie sie mit
heißem Wasser.
■ Trocknen Sie sie sorgfältig ab.

VERWENDUNG DES GERÄTS
■ Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Stufenschalter (b) auf der Position "0" steht. (fig. 1)
■ Stecken Sie die Enden der Rührbesen (c) oder der Knethaken (d) oder den Schneebesen (je nach
Modell) (e) in die hierzu vorgesehenen Öffnungen. Der Schneebesen (je nach Modell) kann entweder
in die linke oder die rechte Öffnung des Gerätekörpers gesteckt werden.
Nach dem Einsetzen müssen die beiden Rührbesen/Knethaken dieselbe Länge besitzen. Sie sind richtig
eingesetzt und eingerastet, wenn Sie ein „Klick“ hören.

Verwenden Sie das Gerät bei maximaler Geschwindigkeit oder auf der „Turbo“-Position nicht länger als
10 Minuten mit den Rührbesen oder länger als 4 Min. 30 Sek. mit den Knethaken.
■ Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, bevor Sie die Rührbesen aus der Zubereitung nehmen (um Spritzer zu
vermeiden). Stellen Sie den Schalter wieder auf die Position 0. (fig 5)
■ Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Stromkkreis.
■ Entfernen Sie die Rührbesen, Knethaken oder den Schneebesen (je nach Modell), indem Sie auf die
Auswurftaste drücken (b) (fig. 5).
REINIGUNG
■ Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Stromkreis.
■ Entfernen Sie unbedingt die Rührbesen, Knethaken oder den Schneebesen (je nach Modell), bevor Sie
sie reinigen. (fig. 5)
■ Reinigen Sie die Rührbesen, Knethaken oder den Schneebesen (je nach Modell) sofort nach der
Verwendung, um zu vermeiden, dass Reste von Eiern oder Öl daran kleben oder trocknen.
■ Sie können die Rührbesen, Knethaken oder den Schneebesen (je nach Modell) mit einem Schwamm
und Spülmittel reinigen. Sie sind spülmaschinenfest.
■ Reinigen Sie den Gerätekörper nur mit einem feuchten Schwamm und trocknen Sie ihn sorgfältig ab.
■ Waschen Sie das Gerät niemals in der Spülmaschine.
■ Verwenden Sie keine Scheuerschwämme, Lösungsmittel oder Objekte mit Metallteilen.

Die internationale KRUPS Herstellergarantie ist ein zusätzlicher Vorteil, der die gesetzlichen

Die internationale Herstellergarantie deckt alle Kosten ab, die zur Wiederherstellung der

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

START-UP
■ Before using your appliance for the first time, remove the accessories from their package and wash
them in warm water.

USE
■ Make sure that the speed selector switch (b) is on position “0” (fig. 1).
■ Insert the shafts of the beaters (c) or the dough hooks (d) or the balloon whisk (certain models only)
(e) into the specially designed holes. The balloon whisk (certain models only) can be inserted either
into the left or the right hole of the appliance.
Once inserted, the two beaters should have the same length. When they are properly fixed and inserted,
you will hear a “click”.
■ Plug in the appliance.
■ According to the quantity of food to be processed, place the ingredients into an appropriate container
(preferably a deep bowl or tumbler).
■ Immerse the beaters into the food before turning on the appliance so as to avoid splatters.
■ Turn on the appliance with the help of the speed selection switch (b), first on speed 1, then on speed
2, and then on speed 3 as the processed food gets thicker and thicker (fig. 3).
Your appliance is equipped with a Turbo switch which enables you to reach the maximum speed with
only one push of the switch (fig. 4).
Do not keep the appliance running on maximum or “turbo” speed for more than 10 minutes when using
the beaters or more than 4 minutes 30sec when using the dough hooks.
■ Turn off the appliance before removing the beaters from the processed food (in this way you will avoid
splatters). Return the speed selector switch to position “0” (fig. 5).
■ Unplug the appliance.
■ Remove the beaters, the dough hooks or the balloon whisk (certain models only) by pressing the eject
button (b) (fig. 5).
CLEANING
■ Unplug the appliance.
■ Make sure you always eject the beaters, the dough hooks or the balloon whisk (certain models only)
before cleaning (fig. 5).
■ Clean the beaters, the dough hooks or the balloon whisk (certain models only) immediately after use so
as to avoid residue of egg or oil mix sticking to or drying up on the accessories.
■ You may clean the beaters, the dough hooks or the balloon whisk (certain models only) by using a
sponge and some washing up liquid. You may also clean them in a dishwasher.
■ Clean the body of the appliance with a damp sponge only and dry thoroughly.
■ Do not wash the appliance in the dishwasher by any means.
■ Do not use abrasive sponges or objects containing metal parts.
■ Do not immerse the body of the appliance into water by any means (fig. 6).

The Guarantee
This product is guaranteed by KRUPS (company address and details included in the country list
of the KRUPS International Guarantee) against any manufacturing defect in materials or
workmanship for a period of 2 years starting from the initial date of purchase.
The international manufacturer's guarantee by KRUPS is an extra benefit which does not affect
consumer's Statutory Rights.
The international manufacturer’s guarantee covers all costs related to restoring the proven
defective product so that it conforms to its original specifications, through the repair or
replacement of any defective part and the necessary labour. At KRUPS’s choice, a replacement
product may be provided instead of repairing a defective product. KRUPS’s sole obligation and
your exclusive resolution under this guarantee are limited to such repair or replacement.
Conditions & Exclusions
The international KRUPS guarantee only applies within the guarantee period and for those
countries listed in the Country List attached and is valid only on presentation of a proof of
purchase. The product can be taken directly in person to an authorised service centre or must
be adequately packaged and returned, by recorded delivery (or equivalent method of postage),
to a KRUPS authorised service centre. Full address details for each country’s authorised service
centres are listed on KRUPS website (www.krups.com) or by calling the appropriate telephone
number as set out in the Country List to request the appropriate postal address.
KRUPS shall not be obliged to repair or replace any product which is not accompanied by a valid
proof of purchase.
This guarantee will not cover any damage which could occur as a result of misuse, negligence,
failure to follow KRUPS instructions, use on current or voltage other than as stamped on the
product, or a modification or unauthorised repair of the product. It also does not cover normal
wear and tear, maintenance or replacement of consumable parts, or the following:
-using the wrong type of water or consumable
-scaling (any de-scaling must be carried out according to the instructions for use);
-ingress of water, dust or insects into the product;
-mechanical damages, overloading

This guarantee does not apply to any product that has been tampered with, or to damages
incurred through improper use and care, faulty packaging by the owner or mishandling by any
carrier.
The international KRUPS guarantee applies only for products purchased in one of the countries
listed, and used for domestic purposes only in one of the countries listed on the Country List.
Where a product purchased in one listed country and then used in another listed country:
a) The international KRUPS guarantee does not apply in case of non conformity of
the purchased product with the local standards, such as voltage, frequency, power
plugs, or other local technical specifications
b) The repair process for products purchased outside the country of use may require
a longer time if the product is not locally sold by KRUPS
c) In cases where the product is not repairable in the new country, the international
KRUPS guarantee is limited to a replacement by a similar product or an alternative
product at similar cost, where possible.
Consumer Statutory Rights
This international KRUPS guarantee does not affect the statutory rights a consumer may have or
those rights that cannot be excluded or limited, nor rights against the retailer from which the
