1 General
This supplementary operating manual accompanies the installation/operating
manual. All information contained in the installation/operating manual must be
observed.

1.1 Adjusting the eccentric
DANGER
Oil level in bearing bracket too low
Explosion hazard!
Damage to the rolling element bearings and outer rotor!
▷Fit and adjust the eccentric as described.
▷Correctly set the oil level.
NOTE
An excessively high oil level can lead to a temperature rise and to leakage of the
fluid handled or oil.

üBearing bracket lantern 344 and bearing bracket 330 have been horizontally
aligned following maintenance work.
1. Wrap the stud end of eccentric 62-1.49 with sealing tape to seal the threads.
2. Screw eccentric 62-1.49 into bearing bracket 330.
3. Provide a common reference plane for determining dimensions B and C (e.g. by
placing an adequately sized flat bar underneath).
4. Determine dimension C (see Fig.: Determining the adjusting dimensions), taking
care to measure outside of the key area.
5. Determine adjusting dimension B in accordance with the Table: Determining the
adjusting dimensions.
6. Adjust the socket end of eccentric 62-1.49 to dimension B by turning the disc of
eccentric 62-1.49 with an open-end engineer's wrench (WAF 26). Take care to
ensure that the connection between bearing bracket 330 and the stud end
remains tight.
7. Wrap the stud end of constant level oiler 638 with sealing tape to seal the
threads.
8. Screw constant level oiler 638 into the socket end of eccentric 62-1.49, taking
care to ensure that dimension B is not altered. Use an open-end engineer's
wrench to hold the disc of eccentric 62-1.49 in position if necessary.
NOTE
If it is not possible to provide a common reference plane, the eccentric can also be
positioned via adjusting dimension A.
9. Horizontally align the top of the glass reservoir of constant level oiler 638.
10. Check adjusting dimension B and adjust as necessary.
