1. PERFORMANCE AND LIMITATIONS OF USE:
These Winches have been tested in accordance with EN 1496:2017 and have achieved the following performance levels:

3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION OF WINCH AFT730020 ON TRIPOD (AFT710007/AFT710010)

Pull out the handle of the winch
outside and rotate it anti- clock wise
to release the steel wire. Keep on
releasing till you are able to release
enough length such that it can pass
over the pulleys of the tripod and get
suspended vertically downwards.
Place the winch on the mounting
bracket of the tripod leg and insert
the guiding pin into the slot.

5. ADVICE & INFORMATION:
Ÿ
ŸEnsure that the Tripod on to which the winch is fitted is strong enough to withstand a load of 13.5 kN.
ŸEnsure that the equipment is compatible with other items when assembled into a system.
6. WARNING:
ŸEnsure that the Medical condition of the user does not affect his safety in normal and emergency use.
ŸThe equipment shall only be used by a person trained and competent in its safe use.
ŸA rescue plan shall be in place to deal with any emergencies that could arise during the work.
ŸDo not make any alterations or additions to the equipment without the manufacturer's prior written consent and that
any repair shall only be carried out by personnel trained by the manufacturer & duly authorized by him.
ŸThe equipment shall not be used outside its limitation, or for any purpose other than that for which it is intended.
It should not be used in highly acidic or basic environment.
4. INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION OF WINCH AFT730020 ON EXTREME STAINLESS DAVIT (AFT7500)
Locate the
arm that has pre-installed mounting
bracket for installing the winch.
Place the winch on the mounting
bracket of the
arm and insert the guiding pin
into the slot.

7. INSPECTION: Visually inspect the system before each use to ensure that it is in a serviceable condition and is operating
correctly. If during inspection, doubts are raised about the safety of the system or a component, these should be replaced
either by the manufacturer or a competent person.
8. STORAGE AND TRANSPORT: When not in use, store the winch away from heavily acidic or basic environment; Never
place heavy items on top of it. Also ensure that it is stored away from chemically hazardous environment preferably storage
should be in dry environment.
9. REPAIR: If the product becomes damaged, it will NOT provide optimum level of performance, and therefore should be
immediately either replaced or repaired. Never use the damaged product. Repair is permitted, provided that it is either done
by the manufacturer or a competent repair center or individual approved by the manufacturer.
10. CLEANING: In case of minor soiling, wipe the winch with cotton cloth or a soft brush. Do not use any abrasive material. For

intensive cleaning wash in water at a temperature between 30 C to 60 C by using a neutral detergent (pH 7). The washing

temperature should not exceed 60 C. Do not use acidic or basic detergents.
Cleaning and maintenance shall only be conducted in a safe area.
