INTENDED USE
This Kyutec™ alcohol tester is intended to
measurealcoholinhumanbreath.Thishigh
qualityproducthasabuilt-insensorwith
class-leadingaccuracy.Itsadvancedbreath
sampling technology quickly measures the
presenceofalcoholinbreath.Theunique
Smart LED / LCD system indicates your BAC
(BloodAlcoholContent)bothnumericallyand
audibly.
CONSIDERATIONS BEFORE USE
• Allow at least 20 minutes after drinking,
smokingandeatingbeforetesting.
• Avoid testing in strong winds, in a closed
room with a heavy amount of smoke, or
where alcohol is present.
• Donotblowcigarettesmoke,foodorliquid
into the unit.
• Only use the unit in a temperature range of
10-40°C.Operationaboveorbelowthis
range may affect the results.

• For more accurate results, it is
recommendedtohavetheunitrecalibrated
every 6 months or 300 tests. Contact your
dealer for details.
• Do not store or use the unit in extreme
conditions to protect the sensor.
• Do not use the unit as a tool to determine
whether or not you should operate a
vehicle or machinery.
• Do not let yourself or anyone else drink
and drive. Always appoint a designated
driver when you or anyone else drinks
alcohol.
• The BAC result displayed is for reference
only. BAC changes over time depending
on many factors. BAC at one time can
differ from BAC a few minutes later.
• You cannot use the results of this product
in court.

GETTING STARTED
• Removethebatterycoverlocatedonthe
backoftheunit.
• Install 2 x 1.5V AAalkalinebatteries
matching the correct polarity and replace
thebatterycover.
IMPORTANT!
Wait 20 Minutes No Drinking No Eating No Smoking
Wait 20 minutes after the subject drinks,
smokes or eats before testing. Failure to wait
for 20 minutes can lead to inaccurate BAC
readings.
HOW TO USE
Mouthpiece: Flip up the folded mouthpiece
located on the left side of the unit. Attach an
additional mouthpiece.
Note: Six additional mouthpieces are
providedfortestingmultiplesubjects.
Using a straw: Flip up the folded mouthpiece
and insert an additional mouthpiece. Then
insert a straw (with similar diameter of the
additional mouthpiece) (not provided) into the
additional mouthpiece.

POWER ON: Press the power
buttontoswitchontheunit.The
unit initiates sensor warm-up and
auto-cleansing process. Timer
counts down from 99 to 0.
Blow
READY: Wait until “Rdy” (Ready)
appearswithasingle“beep”to
indicate that the unit is ready
to use.
BAC
BLOWING: Blow STEADILY into
the mouthpiece or the straw for 5
secondsUNTILa“beep”sounds
to signal completion of the test.
The unit analyses the sample
and shows the measured Blood
Alcohol Content (BAC) on the
LCD display. Depending on the
version of your product, BAC
value will be displayed in ‰ BAC
/ % BAC / mg/L.
Retesting: Simply switch off the unit and
switch it on again to perform a retest. It is
recommended to wait for at least 1 minute to
get the most accurate result among multiple
tests.
Alert system
Smart LED alert:
The LED light, located
abovetheLCDdisplay,
asheswhenthealcohol
concentrationlevelisabove
the legal limit of 0.5‰ BAC
/ 0.05% BAC / 0.08% BAC
(depending on the version
of your product). It serves
as a quick warning alert to
the user.

Note: The permitted legal alcohol level limit
may vary depending on the country of your
residence. Before using this product make
sure you know the legal limits.

apply in cases such as accidental damage,
however caused, wear and tear, negligence,

product. When a refund is given, the
product for which the refund is provided
