Steam dispensing
The ideal setting or milk rothing is set in the actory. I additional
adjustments must be made, turn the low adjustment valve (A)
underneath the panel control o the machine:
- counterclockwise: more air > more rothy milk
- clockwise: less air > less rothy milk
Note: even slight turns of the valve (A) can make a great
difference in how the milk is frothed.

MODE 1, STEAM AUTOMATIC STOP
A temperature is set at the T stop steam xxx°C" ield using the "+"
and "-" keys, with "xxx" which ranges rom a minimum o 50°C and
a maximum o 85°C.
Steam dispensing is controlled by the knob (13).
In particular:
- when the knob is turned to the right, the milk is heated.
- When the knob is turned to the le t, the milk is rothed.
Once the knob has been turned (13), it automatically returns to the
"O" position.
The message "T steam xxx°C"
appears on the display, indicating
the temperature read by the probe.
Note: I the milk is rothed, the symbol appears beside "Steam T:
xxx°C". I the milk is warm, the symbol appears beside
"Steam T: xxx°C".
Note: When the set temperature is reached, steam supply stops
automatically and the display continues indicating steam value
for the next 3 seconds.
Steam supply can be interrupted at any time (even if the set
temperature was not reached), by again turning the automatic steam
nob (13) in the same direction used for activating supply.
The message "T steam xxx°C"
appears on the display, indicating
the temperature read by the probe.
MODE 2, STEAM MANUAL STOP
Set the temperature value on item "T stop steam xxx°C" at "000" zero.
Steam dispensing and the choice o milk type are per ormed as in
MODE 1.
Note: The user controls when steam dispensing is stopped.
When the desired temperature is reached, the user will turn the
automatic steam nob (13) in the same direction used to start the
steam dispensing process.
For the next 3" after steam dispensing has stopped, the display
shows the mil temperature that has been reached.
I the thermocouple is mal unctioning, the Error Log will list the ES-
053 error. The latest set temperature value is, however, saved until
thermo-couple operation is restored. The machine works as i it is
in the STOP STEAM mode. You can roth or heat milk, but during the
process, the display will show:

BEVERAGE TEMPERATURE READING
The steam probe also detects the beverage temperature, but only i
it is higher than 50°C. Inset the steam nozzle (15) into the container,
making sure the tip is completely submerged in the milk. A ter a ew
seconds the phrase "T steam: xxx°C", corresponding to the probe
reading, appears.
When the steam nozzle is removed rom the milk, the phrase remains
on the display or the ollowing 3 seconds.
To view the temperature in Fahrenheit degrees, please re er to the
"con iguration menu -Measurement unit" in the technical manual.
The temperature detected by the probe will appear again on the
display once the thermocouple unctions again.
Time out is set at 180" or both the programming modes.
