2. Electrical Safeguards

!warning
1) Do not operate with a damaged power supply cord or plug, after a malfunction, or after it has been
damaged in any manner.
2) Unplug the pouch laminator before moving it, or when it is not in use for an extended period of time.
3) Do not overload electrical outlets beyond their capacity as this can result in fire or electrical shock.
4) The pouch laminator must be connected to a supply voltage corresponding to the electrical rating of the
machine as indicated.
5) Do not alter attached plug. The plug is configured for the appropriate electrical supply.
6) Keep hands dry while operating the machine.
7) The machine is intended for indoor use only.
3. Safety Precaution

!warning
1) Use/store the laminator in a clean and dry environment, and keep away from flammable/combustible

items.
2) Do not allow neckties, scarves, or other objects near the machine, as they could get caught by the
rollers and be pulled inside, causing serious personal injury.
3) Ensure your electrical source is properly grounded for safety.
4) Do not open the cover (or back) without an authorized technician.
5) Use a soft cloth with alcohol to clean rollers. Do not use lubricants, thinners, or rough surfaces to rub
the rollers.
6) Connect the machine to the nearest power outlet that is easily accessible. Disconnect the plug from
both the machine and power outlet when moving the machine.
4. Laminating Precautions

1) Insert pouches with the sealed side first
2) Only use standard film sizes
3) Do not use film that has been cut

Lamination not clear: Increase temperature or decrease speed.
Lamination warped: Decrease temperature or increase speed.

*If using a carrier, increased temperature will be required.
*All settings are suggested. Temperature & speed adjustments may be required
for different paper thicknesses, pouches, or carriers.

8. How to Use
1) Hot Lamination

a. Turn on the Power Switch located on the rear of the machine
b. Use the temperature guide on the front of the machine to select the recommended temperature & speed
based on the thickness of your pouch. The display screen will read 'Ready' when the temperature is
reached.
c. Insert laminating pouch with the sealed edge first. If not satisfied with laminating result, adjust the
speed and temperature to achieve the desired result.
Notes: Always insert the laminating pouch into the center of the machine with the sealed edge first to
avoid jams and creases.
2) Cold Lamination
a. Turn on the Power Switch located on the rear of the machine. The temperature for cold laminations
should remain at the default 32°F.
b. Adjust the speed according to the recommendation
for your cold laminating pouch.
Note: If you shift to cold lamination from hot
lamination, please wait approximately 20 to 30mins
for the temperature to cool down below 140°F before
starting cold lamination.
Turn off the machine: Press the COLD button to begin
cool down. Periodically hold the MEAS button to
ensure current temperature of machine reaches 140°F
or below before turning off the Power Switch.
9. Auto Sleep Mode
1) Set to Auto Sleep: Hold the COLD button for 5 seconds until the control panel reads SLP. The motor
and cooling fans will keep running until the machine reaches below 140°F before automatically entering
sleep mode.
2) The machine will automatically enter into Sleep Mode after 2 hours of no operation. The control panel
will read SLP and the motor and cooling fans will keep running until the machine reaches below 140°F
before entering Sleep Mode.
3) Turn on from Sleep Mode: Press the COLD button and the control panel will turn on.

Do not turn off the Power Switch before cooling down the machine. Following instructions will increase
the longevity of rollers and machine.

10. Trouble Shooting Guide

WARRANTY
Lamination Depot warrants the TL-600 against any defects for 12 months from the date of original purchase. Warranty does not cover
normal wear and tear, nor damage caused by operator error or misuse. Should any defect appear within 12 month warranty from date of
purchase we will gladly repair or replace the machine. To start a warranty claim within 12 months from date of purchase please contact our
customer service team by calling [phone] or by email [email protected].
To process your warranty claim, the machine must be returned in its complete original packaging to avoid incidental damages in transit by
the carrier of your choice. Lamination Depot does not cover shipping costs for claims nor is responsible for any damages caused by the
carrier.

Upon evaluation of the machine and determination of the actual defect, the machine will be restored to its original factory specifications and
will be shipped back to you free of charge using the carrier of our choice. If the machine cannot be restored, a replacement will be provided.
This warranty covers all defects incurred in the normal use of the equipment except in the following cases:
• Damage to the equipment due to improper operation, abuse, mishandling or failure to follow the operating instructions.
• Removal or alteration of the serial number.
• Service or modification done by anyone other than a certified technician authorized by Lamination Depot.
This warranty is valid only within the United States or its provinces/territories and Canada.
