Deployment area of the vehicle air bags must be cleared. Do not install this product or
route any electrical wires near the air bags deployment areas. Refer to your vehicle
owner’s anual for the air bag deployment area. Products or wires mounted in the air
bag deployment area will damage, reduce the effectiveness of the air bag, or even act
as a projectile which may cause serious injury or death. The user/installer of this
product assumes full responsibility in determining the proper mounting location while
prioritizing the safety of all passengers in the vehicle.
This product contains strobe light(s), halogen light(s), high-intensity LEDs, or a
combination of these components. Do not look directly into the lights. Momentary
blindness and/or injury to the eyes could result.

Installer of this product must have a good understanding of automotive electronics,
systems, and procedures.
In the case that holes must be drilled in order to properly mount the product, the
installer must examine both sides of the mounting surface before drilling begins. It is
the installer’s responsibility to be sure that no vehicle components or vital parts could
be damaged by the drilling process. De-burr any holes in order to remove metal shards
and remnants. Use grommets in all wire passage holes.
If this manual states that this product may be mounted with suction cups, magnets,
tape, or Velcro®, clean the mounting surface and dry thoroughly prior to applying any
adhesives for maximum adhesion.
Do not attempt to activate or operate this product under hazardous driving situations.

YELLOW – Synchronization and Pattern Selection
Connect YELLOW of all units together to enable synchronization.
Apply YELLOW to BLACK for a brief second will advance unit to the next flash
pattern.
Apply YELLOW to BLACK for 3-5 seconds will advance the unit to Steady Mode.
Apply YELLOW to BLACK for more than 5 seconds will advance the unit to Off Mode.

WARNING! All customer supplied wires that connect to the positive
terminal of the battery must be sized to supply at least 125% of the
maximum operating current and FUSED at the battery to carry that load.
DO NOT USE CIRCUIT BREAKERS WITH THIS PRODUCT!
Mounting Options:
The SBLS series can be mounted permanently or via suction cups. The mounting brackets
can be secured on to the light bar with a flexible swivel angel of 117 degrees or in a fixed
position with the mounting surface side of the mounting bracket being perpendicular to the
LED lenses of the light bar.
Mounting
CAUTION! Permanent mounting of this product will require drilling. It is
absolutely necessary to make sure that no other vehicle components could
be damaged by this process. Check both sides of the mounting surface
before starting. If damage is likely, select a different mounting location.

Permanent Mounting:
Permanent Mounting Diagram:
Secure the mounting brackets onto the strobe light unit by using the bolt, split
washer, and washer provided. Do NOT tighten the hardware all the way.
Place the mounting brackets against the desired mounting surface.
Mark the area where the mounting holes are to be drilled. Confirm that no vehicle
parts could be damaged by the drilling process.
Using a drill bit of appropriate size, drill three mounting holes. Thoroughly de-burr
all hole(s).
Secure the mounting bracket to the desired mounting surface by using the
mounting screws provided.
Adjust tilt angle of the light bar prior to tightening the hardware securing the
mounting brackets to the light bar.

Mounting with Suction Cups:
Please note that the suction cups are designed to hold the light bar in position to
prevent it from moving horizontally while the unit is rested against a surface; such
as the headrest of the back seat of pickup trucks or rear deck of a coupe/sedan. The
suction cups are not designed to suspend or support the entire weight of the light
bar off of the window/glass. Do note that the defroster lines present on the rear
window of most vehicles may interfere with how well the suction cups can latch
onto the window.
Install the suction cups onto the mounting brackets.
Secure the mounting brackets onto the strobe light unit by using the bolt, split
washer, and washer provided. Do NOT tighten the hardware all the way.
Adjust tilt angle of the light bar prior to tightening the hardware securing the
mounting brackets to the light bar.

Mounting with Surface Mount Accessory:
Remove one of the end cap at the end of the light bar by untightening the
hardware.
With the bolt inserted through the surface mount accessories, slide the surface
mount accessories into the slide grooves located on the housing of the light bar.
Replace the end cap removed on step No. 1.
Adjust the position of the surface mount accessory alongside the housing of the
light bar.
Lock the surface mount accessory into desired position by using the two screws
included.
Place the light bar against the desired mounting surface and mark the area where
the holes for the through-bolt will need to be drilled.
Using a drill bit of appropriate size, drill the holes for the mounting bolt. Make sure
no other vehicle components could be damaged from the process. Thoroughly
de-burr all holes.
Proceed on surface mounting the light bar to the desired mounting location using
the hardware provided.

Replacing Light Modules:
The SBLS series are composed of replaceable 4W LED light modules. The light modules can
be replaced in the case of it becoming defective and in the case which the user wishes to have
a different color/module layout than the factory default. Please note that more than one
module may need to be removed in order to access the water tight quick disconnect plugs.
Functions:
Power unit on/off via rocker switch with LED indicator light.
Select flash patterns via momentary rocker switch.
Advance light bar to traffic advising directional mode by selecting one of the functions.

Place the bail bracket of the controller against the desired mounting surface.
Mark the area where the mounting holes are to be drilled. Make sure no other vehicle
components could be damaged during the installation process.
Using a drill bit of appropriate size, drill the pilot holes for the mounting screws.
Thoroughly de-burr all holes.
Mount the bail bracket onto the mounting surface using the fasteners provided.
Mount the controller onto the bail bracket using the fasteners provided.
