IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ASSEMBLY AND USE.
•
Proper installation of this product requires the installer to have a good understanding of
automotive electronics, systems, and procedures.
• If mounting this product requires drilling holes, the installer MUST be sure that no vehicle
components or other vital parts could be damaged by the drilling process. Check both sides of
the mounting surface before drilling begins. Also de-burr any holes and remove any metal
shards or remnants. Install grommets into all wire passage holes.
•
If this manual states that this product may be mounted with suction cups, magnets, tape or
Velcro®, clean the mounting surface and dry thoroughly prior to apply adhesive for maximum
adhesion.
•
Do not attempt to activate or control this device in a hazardous driving situation.
•
Do not install this product or route any wires in the deployment area of your air bag. Equipment
mounted or located in the air bag deployment area will damage or reduce the effectiveness of
the air bag, or become a projectile that could cause serious personal injury or death. Refer to
your vehicle owner’s manual for the air bag deployment area. The User/Installer assumes full
responsibility to determine proper mounting location, based on providing ultimate safety to all
passengers inside the vehicle.

This product contains either strobe light(s , halogen light(s , high-intensity LEDs or a
combination of these lights. Do not stare directly into these lights. Momentary blindness and/or
eye damage could result.

Mounting
CAUTION! Permanent mounting of this product wi require dri ing. It is
abso ute y necessary to make sure that no other vehic e components cou d
be damaged by this process. Check both sides of the mounting surface
before starting. If damage is ike y, se ect a different mounting ocation.
1. Prepare to assemble the unit by removing the two mounting bolts, nuts, and washers that
are used to affix the unit to the mounting bracket from the mounting hardware set.
2. Insert the mounting bracket to the back of the light unit so the groove for the mounting bolt
on the mounting bracket aligns with the two holes for the mounting bolt located on the two
sides of the light unit.
3. Lay the unit on its side.
4. Slide a nut into the groove on the back of the unit so the nut aligns with the groove for the
mounting bolt on the mounting bracket and the hole for the mounting bolt on the light unit.
Refer to Fig. 1 for additional details.
5. Proceed on inserting and tightening the mounting bolt and washer to the nut. Do NOT fully
tighten the hardware yet.
6. Select a desired mounting location. Make sure there is at least 5” of clearance in order for
the light to fit properly over the mounting location.
7. Place the mounting bracket over the desired mounting surface.
8. Mark the area where the mounting holes are to be drilled. Confirm that no vehicle parts
could be damaged by the drilling process.
9. Using a drill bit of appropriate size, drill a mounting hole for the mounting bolt. Thoroughly
de-burr all hole(s .
10. Secure the mounting bracket onto the mounting surface using the included hardware. Refer
to Fig. 2 for additional details.
11. Adjust the light unit to the desired tilt angle prior to fully tightening all the hardware.

Wiring
WARNING! A customer supp ied wires that connect to the positive termina
of the battery must be sized to supp y at east 125% of the maximum
operating current and FUSED at the battery to carry that oad.
RED – To 9 - 36 VDC Power Source
BLACK – To Chassis Ground
Butt Splice Connector, Ring Terminal, and Heat Shrinks are optional accessories that can be used
during the wiring portion of the installation process. A crimper and heat gun may be required in
order to achieve a neat and secure connection.
Cubus Connector Set
1. Multiple Cubus can be connected together horizontally or vertically using the Cubus
connector set.
2. This is an optional mounting method which can be utilized when surfacing mounting of
additional units is not an option.
