This air purier is designed solely to clean the
air indoors. The device is designed for do-
mestic use.

device. Use this device only for

facturer cannot be held responsi-

Electric shock
As with any electrical device, this
air purier must be used careful-
ly and with caution to avoid risks
due to electric shocks. Condi-
tions of use for the device:
• use it only at the volt-
age shown on the de-
vice (the rating plate is on
the back of the device),
• never use the device
when it or the accesso-
ries are visibly damaged,
• do not use it dur-
ing a thunderstorm.
If the device is faulty or breaks
down, switch it o and unplug
it immediately. Do not pull on
the power cable or on the de-
vice in order to remove the plug
from the wall socket. Do not hold
and never carry the device by its
power cable. Keep cables away
from hot surfaces. Always switch
the device o before pulling out
the mains plug. Never pull the
mains plug out with damp or wet
hands. Keep the device away
from sources of heat to prevent
the casing melting and causing
a re. Make sure that the open-
ing of the device and the power
cable do not come into contact
with water, steam or other liquids.
Do not use the device close to
highly inammable gas or explo-
sive mixtures. Do not attempt to
retrieve a device that has fallen
into water. Disconnect the device
immediately. Do not use the de-
vice if it or its accessories show
any signs of damage.
Repairs
Only a specialist may repair elec-
trical devices. Any inappropriate
repair may cause a signicant
risk to the user. Contact custom-
er service or an authorised deal-
er for any repairs. The fan should
not be open.
Fire hazard
Any inappropriate use or use that
does not comply with these op-
erating instructions may cause a
re hazard! Therefore never use
the air purier
• if it is covered, for example,
by a blanket, cushions, etc.
• close to petrol or oth-
er ammable materials.

and before it is cleaned. Do not
insert any item into the openings
of the device or into any rotating
parts. Make sure that the mov-
ing parts are always capable of
moving freely. Do not place any
item on the device.
Do not expose the device to high
temperatures. Do not expose the
device to direct sunlight, knock it
or drop it. Do not shake the de-
vice. Place the device on a sta-
ble, horizontal surface. Do not
dismantle the device entirely. Do
not wash the entire unit with wa-
ter and do not immerse it in wa-
ter. Consult the cleaning instruc-
tions in this manual. Do not store
the product for long periods in a
hot or humid environment.
Presentation
Thank you for choosing the Lanaform AV-99C
Connected Air Purier. The AV-99C Air Puri-
er improves indoor air quality by removing
99.95%* of dust, animal hair, cooking odours,
pollen and various bacteria and viruses as well
as harmful gases, using a three-layer H13 HEPA
lter and a built-in UV lamp. The air purier in-
dicates air quality using a four-colour display
system and is fully connected for simple and
eective remote control. Finally, its specic l-
ter means it can contribute to reducing COV-
ID-19 infection**.
* The three-layer lter system with an H13 HEPA lter removes
up to 97% of particles ≥ 0.02 μm in size. 99.95% of particles
≥0.3 μm in size are removed (August 2021 test against EN
1822-1:2019). For the sake of comparison: Viruses are generally
0.02-0.3 µm in size
** According to ndings from a test conducted in March 2021,
based on a modied version of ISO 18184, the AV-99C air
purier lter is acknowledged for its ecacy in reducing the
infectiousness of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
The Lanaform air purier:
• lters the air using a combined lter
(pre-lter that captures the initial dust
and allergen particles, activated
charcoal lter to combat harmful gases
and unpleasant odours, H13 HEPA lter
to remove ne particles such as dust,
smoke, pollen, allergens, etc.)
• includes a UV lamp (eective against
micro-organisms such as microbes,
germs, viruses, bacteria and mildew),
• is quiet and has four power levels,
• has a timer function (two,
four or eight hours),
• is equipped with night and
automatic modes,
• includes a PM2.5 particle sensor
to display indoor air quality
using an indicator light
• is suitable for rooms of approx. 15-20 m2,
• consumes a limited amount of energy,
• switches o automatically as soon
as the casing cover is removed.
Air purier’s operating principle:
01 The air purier’s fan sucks
out the polluted air.
02 The pre-lter lters out large particles
such as dust, dirt and hair.
03 Formaldehyde, petrol and other harmful
gases, as well as unpleasant odours,
are then ltered from the ambient air
using an activated charcoal lter.
04 Fine particles such as pollen,
allergens, dust and smoke are
ltered out by the HEPA lter.

05 The UV lamp combats micro-or-
ganisms such as microbes, germs,
viruses, bacteria and mildew.
06 The clean air is thrown out into the
ambient air through the exhaust vent
onto the top of the air purier.
Please note
The H13 HEPA lter’s performance is 99.95%. In
other words, 99.95 % of the particles (for example,
bacteria, viruses and ne dust) can be ltered.
Unltered polluted air may have the follow-
ing eects:
• it may cause infections and dis-
eases of the respiratory tract,
• it has a negative impact on health
caused by harmful gases.
“Lanaform Connect” app
Connect the air purier to your smartphone
over Wi-Fi. All you need to do so is to down-
load the free “Lanaform Connect” app. The “La-
naform Connect” app is available on the App
Store (iOS) and on Google Play (Android™).
The “Lanaform Connect” app includes the fol-
lowing functions:
• Air quality checking and assessment.
• Displays levels of ne PM2.5 particles.
• Displays the air quality level.

01 Stop/Start button:
Starting/stopping the device.
When the light marked “Filter Re-
set” ashes, replace the lter. Once
you have replaced the lter, keep
pressing the Stop/Start button to re-
set the ‘change lter’ display.

Area of use
Take out the air purier
Open the cardboard packaging.
Remove the device upwards, leaving the pro-
tective lm behind.
Now remove all the protective lm.
Check that the device, mains adapter and ca-
ble are not damaged.

Install the air purier
Put the air purier on a at, solid surface so that
it does not vibrate or make a noise.
Please note
Leave a space of approximately 30cm at least
around the air purier.
Make sure that the air inlets and exhaust are
never blocked.
Instructions
Connect the air purier to
the “Lanaform Connect” app
The basic functions of the air purier can be used
without the “Lanaform Connect” app. Addition-
al functions, such as displaying the temperature,
ne PM2.5 particle values and the percentage
of time remaining before the three-layer an-
ti-viral lter needs to be changed can only be
accessed from the “Lanaform Connect” app.
Switch on the air purier
01 Follow the instructions in
the “Area of use” section.
02 Plug the device into the mains.
Position the power cable so
that nobody trips over it.
03 Press the Stop/Start button to
switch on the air purier.
Note
The Wi-Fi symbol ashes.
To connect the air purier to the “Lanaform
Connect” app:
• Make sure your smartphone is
connected to the Wi-Fi network.
• Download the free “Lanaform Connect”
app from the App Store (iOS) or
from Google Play (Android™).
• Launch the “Lanaform Connect”
app and follow the instructions.
• Click Connect a New Device or press
the + button at the top of the screen.
Follow the on-screen instructions to
connect the air purier to your network.
Note
Depending on your smartphone’s settings, the
internet connection or data transmission may
incur additional costs.
This only applies when you congure the air pu-
rier for the rst time.
Note
When it is rst used, all the LEDs will light up
to begin with. The air purier is set at the low-
est ventilation speed.
When the “Filter Reset” light beside the Stop/
Start button ashes, change the combined lter.
To do this, follow the instructions in the chap-
ter on “Changing the lter”.
Ventilation speed
The air purier has four ventilation speeds: I
(low), II (average), III (high) and IV (Turbo).
To move from one ventilation speed to another,
press the ventilation speed button.
The ventilation speed indicator as currently
congured will light up on the control panel.
UV lamp/Automatic
mode/Night mode
Press this button once to switch on the UV light.
Press this button a second time to switch on au-
tomatic mode. When the automatic function is
activated, the ventilation speed automatically
adapts to the ambient air quality. In other words,
the worse the air quality, the more the ventila-
tion speed increases automatically. Press a third
time to switch o the UV lamp, and a fourth time
to switch o automatic mode. Long press (3-5
seconds) to activate night mode. All indicators

will turn o and the ventilation speed is set to
the minimum. Press any button to switch on
the machine and standby mode will switch o.
Information on air
quality display
The purier has a PM2.5 sensor that detects
small particles up to 2.5 μm in size. The air pu-
rier displays the colour that corresponds to
the concentration of particles in the ambient
air near the device.

Timer function
The air purier has a timer function with which
you can decide on the number of hours after
which the device must stop. The air purier has
three timer periods: 2HRS (two hours), 4HRS
(four hours) and 8HRS (eight hours).
To move from one timer speed to another, press
the timer button. The timer length indicator as
currently congured will light up on the con-
trol panel. The air purier then switches o au-
tomatically after the number of hours dened.
To switch o the timer, press the timer button
until no light is lit above the button. The air pu-
rier will then run with no time limit.
Changing the air lter
You must replace the three-layer lter after 4,320
hours of use. The blue “Filter Reset” LED beside
the Stop/Start button ashes after 4,320 hours
of use. To replace the lter, proceed as follows:
• Turn the purier upside down.
• Unscrew the bolt under the
base followed by the base.
• Remove the dirty lter and insert
the new lter into the device.
• Plug in the device and press the On/
O button for 3 to 5 seconds. The
program will reset the lter usage time.
Put the base back in place and x it using the
fastening nut.
Replacing the UV light
The UV light has a life of 20,000 hours.
• Unscrew the UV light’s holder:
• Gently remove the cover and
unscrew the UV light.
• Insert a new UV light then
put the cover back on.
• Note: Do not look at the
UV light when it is lit.
Troubleshooting
The air purier does not switch on.
The casing cover has not
been installed properly.
Make sure that the casing
cover is in the right position.
The three-layer lter has not
been installed properly.
Make sure that the three-layer
lter is the right position.
The mains adapter is not connected.
Plug the mains adapter into
a suitable power socket.
There is insucient
throughput of air
The lters are clogged.
Clean the lters (see the chapter
on “Maintenance and Storage”).
The air inlet/exhaust is blocked

Maintenance
Cleaning the Purier
Before cleaning the device, check that the air
purier’s power supply is fully disconnected.
Clean the air purier’s casing with a slightly
damp cloth (with water or a gentle cleaning
solution). Do not use thinner or other corrosive
or abrasive cleaning products because the sur-
face might get damaged.
Cleaning the lter
Only the pre-lter is washable. Check that it is
dry before xing to the HEPA lter and activat-
ed carbon lter.
The lter needs to be cleaned regularly (once
a month) for ecient and hygienic use. Clean
the three-layer lter with the nozzle of a vacu-
um brush. For a full clean, remove the pre-l-
ter, then clean the carbon lter and the HEPA
lter with the nozzle of a vacuum brush. Then
replace the pre-lter on the HEPA lter.
The three-layer lter must be replaced after
4,320 hours of use (see chapter on “Changing
the air lter”).
Storage
If you do not use the device for a prolonged
period, we recommend that you store it once
cleaned in its original packaging and do not
put anything on top of it.

Data transfer
This product uses Bluetooth® Low Energy and
Wi-Fi technologies, on the frequency band 2.4
GHz to 2.4835 GHz, at a maximum Bluetooth
transmission power® of 6 dBm and maximum
Wi-Fi of 18 dBm. It is compatible with smart-
phones/tablets equipped with Bluetooth® 4.0
technology.
Advice regarding
the disposal
of waste
All the packaging is composed of materials
that pose no hazard for the environment and
which can be disposed of at your local sorting
centre to be used as secondary raw materials.
The cardboard may be disposed of in a paper
recycling bin. The packaging lm must be tak-
en to your local sorting and recycling centre.
When you have nished using the device, please
dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way
and in accordance with the law.
Limited warranty
Lanaform guarantees this product against any
material or manufacturing defect for a period
of two years from the date of purchase, except
in the circumstances described below.
The Lanaform guarantee does not cover dam-
age caused as a result of normal wear to this
product. In addition, the guarantee covering
this Lanaform product does not cover dam-
age caused by abusive or inappropriate or in-
correct use, accidents, the use of unauthorized
accessories, changes made to the product or
any other circumstance, of whatever sort, that
is outside Lanaform’s control.
Lanaform may not be held liable for any type
of circumstantial, indirect or specic damage.
All implicit guarantees relating to the suitabili-
ty of the product are limited to a period of two
years from the initial date of purchase as long as
a copy of the proof of purchase can be supplied.
On receipt, Lanaform will repair or replace your
appliance at its discretion and will return it to
you. The guarantee is only valid through Lana-
form’s Service Centre. Any attempt to maintain
this product by a person other than Lanaform’s
Service Centre will render this guarantee void.
