FIXING THE PRESSURE CUFF
1. Sit down on a seat with your feet on the ground and your arm (heart side) resting on a
table. Relax your arm as much as possible.
2. Put the cuff around your wrist “HEART SIDE” with the palm of your hand facing up. The

top of your wrist (Figure 5).
4. Pass the tape around your wrist so that it fits comfortably. Your wrist should not be
compressed.
PLEASE NOTE: It is natural for blood pressure to vary from one hand to the other, so always
take your blood pressure on the same arm to ensure the two readings are comparable.
5. Rest your arm on the storage box and make sure that the monitor is at the same level as
your heart (Figure 6).

Blood Pressure Monitor 13
Note:
Systolic pressure (SYS): When the heart contracts, empties and “pushes” blood into the
arteries, heavy pressure is exerted on the artery wall. This is referred to as systolic pressure.
Diastolic pressure (DIA): After the heart contracts, it relaxes. It draws blood back into its
chambers, no longer pumping blood into the circulation. The blood pressure is lower during
this relaxation phase. This minimum pressure is the diastolic pressure.
3. Once the measurement is displayed, it is automatically stored in the memory. When
measurement is complete, you simply press the stop/start button again in order to turn
your device off. If you forget to turn it off, it will stop automatically after two minutes.
PLEASE NOTE: it may take a few seconds for the measurements to disappear.
Inaccurate readings will be recorded if you move when measurements are being taken.
SETTING THE MEMORY
Memory recall
- This monitor can store up to 60 readings in its memory. You can therefore create a
statement with your doctor of the various measurements taken.
- To turn on the memory, press the “M” button. The first measurement displayed corresponds
to an average of all the measurements recorded. The letters AVG will appear on the screen
(Figure 7).

EN
14 Version 02 of 15/01/2013
- After the average reading is displayed on the screen, you can press the “M” button again to

- Press Time Set button « » to recall historical records backwards, i.e. from record 60 to
record 1.
