STEP 1
Take each of the (3) legs and bolt them
to the fire pit (as shown in the diagram to
the left) using (6) washers and (6) nuts.
Tighten securely!
STEP 4
Take each of the (3) cooking grate pins and
thread them into the nuts welded on the
inside of the fire pit. Do not over tighten!
If you would like to grill, place
the cooking grate on cooking
grate pins.
PLEASE NOTE: Please
remove cooking grate when
not grilling.
STEP 5
Place spark guard on cooking grate pins.
The spark guard purpose is to keep sparks
contained in the fire pit. PLEASE USE at
all times.
• ADDING SAND TO THE BOTTOM OF BIG SKY HELPS PROTECT
AGAINST THE CORROSIVE NATURE OF THE ASHES AND WILL
EXTEND THE LIFE OF THE PIT.
• BURN YOUR BIG SKY 3 TIMES BEFORE USING TO COOK ON.
• IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO USE BIG SKY FOR A LONG PERIOD
OF TIME, STORE AWAY OUT OF THE WEATHER AND ELEMENTS.
• DO NOT LET YOUR BIG SKY FILL WITH WATER.
• DO NOT DUMP ASHES WHERE THEY COULD START A FIRE.
• DISPOSE OF ASHES IN PROPER RECEPTACLE ONLY AFTER
ASHES HAVE COOLED.

STEP 6
Before using you must place 5 lbs of sand
on the bottom of the fire pit. The sand
insulates the area below the pit and protects
against the corrosive nature of the ashes.

STEP 2
Assemble (1) ring section to the fire pit using
(2) bolts, only loosely tighten the bolts.

Repeat STEP 2 for the remaining (2) ring
sections. Make sure the (3) ring sections
fit together to form a continuous ring.

MULTI-PURPOSE POKER
The poker can be used not only for
shifting and tending the fire, but also
for removing the cooking grate, lifting
off the spark guard or pulling Big Sky to
another location.
