Here’s how.
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Before you begin assembly, read the instructions
carefully. We suggest starting with the subassembly of the pieces before the main
assembly.
IDENTIFY THE PIECES AND HARDWARE. First, lay all the pieces out on the floor
(preferably on carpet) and hardware as you see them in the Parts List. This will
help you locate the right item just as you need it. NOTE: ALL PARTS MAY NOT BE
IDENTIFIED WITH LABELS.

Congratulations!
Lane is making every effort to conserve our precious resources. Therefore, certain
reworked materials have been used in the interior construction and may have a slightly
different appearance. These parts in no way affect the quality of the furniture and will
not be visible once the case is assembled.
And thanks for buying Lane easy-to assemble furniture. You have selected the finest
easy-to-assemble furniture value on the market today. We know you'll get years of
enjoyment out of your new furniture.
When removing part labels, gently rub a soft cloth moistened with a mild household
cleanser (Windex or Pledge) over the part label. Pick a corner of the label and pull
firmly -but smoothly until the label is removed. Dust as needed with a clean, lint-free
absorbent cloth. When cleaning is required, spray furniture polish may be used. In
active families, furniture occasionally receives scratches and nicks. These can be
touched up with a furniture touch-up stick, shoe polish, or a crayon.

step-by-step instructions carefully, and you will have furniture that is both attractive
and functional. The Lane name is your assurance of quality. If you have any questions

• Apply 2 - 3 drops of glue into the (6) dowel holes in each drawer (G). SEE HELPFUL
HINT...

• SEE FIGURE 1...Insert (2) cam housings (CH) into the holes in drawer sides (T1&T).
• Put drawer sides(T1&T) and drawer back(T2) together just like the picture and align
the holes in the boards, then insert the screws (S4) into the holes and tighten them.
• Slide drawer bottom (P) into the grooves in the drawer back(T2) and drawer sides(T&T1).

drawer, using (2) fl at-head screws (S3) in each guide. The lip goes toward the top of

• With a helper, attach shelf (F) and rails (I1), as shown, to left side (D).
• Lock cam housings with a half turn clockwise of a standard flat-head screwdriver.
• Attach right side (C) to shelf (F) and rails (I1).
• Lock cam housings.

• Attach top (A) to left side (D) and right side (C).
• Lock cam housings with a half turn clockwise of a standard fl at-head screwdriver.

• With a helper, place unit face down.
• Position back panel (O) fl ush with the bottom edge of bottom rail (I1) and pilot holes
align with shelf (F).
• Make sure panel (O) fi ts square and even side to side. If it doesn't, adjust unit into
square by pushing or pulling on one corner of the unit until back panel fi ts squarely.
• While nailing into pilot holes, take care to hammer nails in straight.

Cómo Ensamblar el Mueble
LEA LAS INSTRUCCIONES. Lea las instrucciones cuidadosamente antes de comenzar
a ensamblar el mueble. Le sugerimos comenzar con el submontaje de las piezas antes
del montaje principal.
IDENTIFIQUE LAS PIEZAS Y EL HERRAJE. Primero, coloque todas las piezas y el
herraje en el piso (preferiblemente sobre una alfombra) tal como aparecen en la Lista de
Piezas. Esto le ayudará a localizar la pieza correcta según la necesite. NOTA: PUEDE
SER QUE NO TODAS LAS PIEZAS HAYAN SIDO IDENTIFICADAS CON ETIQUETA.

Cuidado del Mueble
Al quitarles las etiquetas a las piezas, frótelas ligeramente con un paño suave,
humedecido con un producto de limpieza suave (Windex o Pledge). Levante una
esquina de la etiqueta y jálela suavemente pero con firmeza hasta quitarla. Desempolve
el mueble según sea necesario con un paño limpio, absorbente y sin pelusas. Cuando
se requiera limpiarlo, se puede usar un lustramuebles en aerosol. En los hogares
activos, los muebles se dañan de vez en cuando con rayas y muescas. Éstas pueden
ser retocadas utilizando un lápiz para el retoque de muebles, o el betún, o un lápiz de
color (crayola).

Con un palillo u objeto similar, unte el pegamento uniformemente dentro de los agujeros.
NO DEJE QUE EL PEGAMENTO SE ACUMULE EN EL FONDO DEL AGUJERO PARA
LA CLAVIJA.
Atornille (2) pasadores roscados (CS) en los agujeros de cada panel delantero (G).
Aplique 2-3 gotas de pegamento en los (6) agujeros para clavijas en los paneles (G).

Aplique pegamento en las juntas esquinadas del panel lateral (T).
Pare el fondo para el cajón (P) en la ranura larga y doble los lados del panel (T) hacia
arriba, uniéndolos al fondo (P).
