Descaling procedure
Please read the instructions before starting
1. Turn off the machine at main plug or rear switch
2. Remove and empty the dreg drawer of pods and water and reinsert
3. Pour exactly 1.5 litres of warm water into the water tank. Do not fill
4. Carefully empty 1 sachet of Expressokleen powder into the water. This is
available free from Bluepod. Do not use other descaling products, you
may damage the machine
5. Carefully stir, make sure the powder is fully dissolved
6. Press and hold .While pressing, turn the machine back on
7. The machine will say ‘Date & Time’. Now release
8. Press until ‘4. Descale’ is displayed
9. Press to display ‘4.1 Qty to Descale’
10. Press until ‘4.3 Do it now’ is displayed
11. Press sequentially followed by and finally
12. The machine may display ‘Cooling’ or ‘Warming’
13. When ‘Insert descaler’ is displayed, press to start
14. This stage will take approx 30 minutes..

15. ‘Ventilate fill with water’ will appear
16. Empty water from dreg drawer then replace in machine
17. Empty and rinse any remaining descale solution from the water tank
18. Fill the water tank with plain cold water to at least ¾ full
19. Press to begin rinse process
20. Wait approx 5 minutes for ‘Descale executed’ to display
21. Turn the machine off and on at the switch
22. Follow any onscreen prompts if necessary
23. Finally remove drawer and empty rinse water then replace in machine
24. Your machine is ready for use - Enjoy a cup of coffee!
