PLEASE READ BELOW INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO SWITCHING MACHINE ON
The machine will only work with a Lavazza Pod. If you attempt to use any other product
the machine will be damaged and cease to work.
HOW TO FILL MACHINE
1. Insert key and rotate ¼ turn clockwise. Lift top lid upward. Rotate the front door open to the left side. You can now access the
water tank and powdered milk container.
2. Fill the water tank with cold water. It is preferable to use a jug to fill the water tank. Alternatively the tank can be removed by
lifting upward. Place back firmly in machine.
3. Open the powdered milk container cover and fill with milk powder. Use only Blue Pod milk powder, the machine has been
designed for this product to give optimum results. Other milks can damage the mixing mechanism. Close the powdered milk
container cover firmly.
4. Close the front door then the top lid. Ensure both are fully closed and relock. It may be necessary to push down on the right
side of the top lid to close.
5. Insert power cord into socket at rear of machine and turn the adjacent power switch on. Ensure switch at wall socket is on.
6. The machine will now warm up and become ready in only a few seconds. The display will read ‘LB2500 Plus Ready Select
Beverage’
HOW TO MAKE A DRINK
1. Pull out the Capsule Insertion drawer. Insert one Lavazza BLUE capsule with the coloured foil facing down. Push the drawer
closed firmly.
2. Place an appropriate cup on the support rack and make your drink selection. For Hot Chocolate, please insert a hot chocolate
capsule.
DAILY CLEANING PROCEDURE
1. At the end of each working day place an empty cup under the dispensing nozzle. Hold down the ‘Espresso’ and ‘Caffé Latte –
Cup’ buttons together. Release the buttons once the rinse cycle begins.
2. Taking care not to spill, pull out the cup support rack/drip tray assembly. Separate the two sections by lifting the used capsule
drawer upward. Empty and clean both sections. Do NOT clean any part using a dishwasher. Refit in reverse order.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
1. Energy Saving is displayed - press any button, the machine will warm up and become ready for use in only a few seconds.
2. Fill Water Tank is displayed - unlock and open top lid, refill water tank.
3. Capsule Drawer is displayed - Remove and empty used capsule/liquid waste drawer. If already empty, remove drawer for 10
seconds then replace.
4. Close Front is displayed - Ensure front door and top lid are both shut AND lock is fully engaged.
5. If there is no milk in the drink, please refill the powdered milk container with Blue Pod milk powder.
