Note: Ground fixing to asphalt is not recommended
(concrete or paving slab base recommended)
Using a hand drill, turn the bin base over and
drill through the ground fixing locators as
shown.
Turn the base over, remembering to position in the
correct orientation. Use the masonry drill to drill
though each location hole marking the ground.
Drill 12mm holes in all 3 marked locations.
Remove the debris from the holes.
PPE Always wear appropriate PPE
equipment and follow safety guidelines.

Tighten the bolts to 22.0Nm torque for concrete.
Tightening the bolts will fan out the bolt sheath
in the hole holding the bolt secure.
Using a mallet drive the bolts home.
Re-position the bin over the drilled holes. Add
washers to bolts and push through moulded
holes locating into drilled ground holes beneath
Replace liner and hood. With hood resting on base
rotate hood clockwise until it will rotate no
further. Push lock in to engage
Remove the ballast from the bottom of the bin.
Remove the plug and fill with a suitable material. Spread the ballast material by hand or by tipping
the base in order to reinsert ballast plug as
shown.
