yourFreestanderitwillbeboxed
andwrappedinseveralparcels.Your
Freestandercomesasstandardwith
chestplateincludingexiblelaterals,
kneeplate,pelvicstrap,activitytray
andbowl,basewithcastors,inner
polesandsandals.
TheTotstanderissuppliedwithout
castors,trayandwithacheststrap
insteadofasolidchestplate.Carefully
removealltheparcelsfromthebox
andcheckyouhaveallthepartsyou
haveordered.

arms.Thisisbestdonewherepractical
inalyingposition,onamat.Theheight
betweenthetopofthechestplate,and
sandalsshouldbesettotheequivalent
ofthisdistance.Thiswillalwaysbethe
rstadjustmentyouneedtocarryout.
Toadjusttheheightofthechest
plate,loosenthebolts B ,adjusttothe
requiredposition,thenre-tightenthe
bolt A securely.
Thechestplatehasanumberofother
adjustmentsthatarecarriedoutby

thattheyarefacingoutwardsto
maximiseproductstability.Makesure
thestrapsonthechest,hipsupport
harnessesandsandalsarereleased
andoutofthewaytofacilitate
transfer.

TheFreestanderexiblelateral
supportscanbeadjustedinandout
bylooseningtheboltsAontheback
ofthechestplate.Oncethesebolts
havebeenloosened,theexible
lateralsupportscanbeadjusted
totherequiredpositionandonce
inpositiontheboltsshouldbere-
tightenedsecurely.Theexiblelaterals
alsohaveasmallamountofheight
adjustment.Toaltertheheightloosen
theallenboltsB ,positionthelateral
asrequiredandthenre-tightenthe
allenboltsBsecurely.Theexible
lateralsupportsaresecuredaround
theuserbytighteningthesafetystrap
intoposition.Fastenthesafetystrap
immediately.
Alwaysusecautiontoensure
ngersdonotbecometrapped
whenadjustingthelateral
supports.

tohelpfacilitategoodhandfunction.
Thetraywillcomecompletewithatray
coverandabowlmeaningthatyoucan
usethetraywithaatcoveranduse
thebowlforplayactivities.

Thepelvicbandshouldbeattached
totheuserrst,againifpracticalon
amat.Thepelvicstrapsareattached
aroundtheuser’spelvis,thelonger
strapsarethenslippedthroughthe
outerpolesoftheframeandsecured
rmlybehindtheuserwiththeVelcro
onthebelt.Toensurethatyoucan
easilyidentifythestrapthatgoes
aroundtheuserandtheonethat
attachestotheframe,aLeckeylabelis
sewnontotheonethatgoesaround
theframe.
How to maintain
Whencleaningwerecommendthat
youuseonlywarmwaterandanon-
abrasivedetergent.Neveruseorganic
solventsordrycleaninguids.
Upholstery and fabrics

CLEANING & CARE
INFORMATION
1. Theupholsteryandfabricscanbe
cleanedbyhandwhilstinplace.
Whencleaningwerecommend
thatyouuseonlywarmwaterand
anonabrasivedetergent.
2. Thebestcleaningmethodisa
‘wipe&dry’technique.
3. Stainingshouldberemovedas
quicklyaspossiblewithabsorbent
cloth,towelsorasponge.Routine
soapandwarmwaterspongingis
effectiveforordinarysoilingand
minorspills.Becarefulnottoover
wetthefabric,asthiswillcausethe
stainingtospread.
4. Antisepticcleaningagents
canbeusedonmorestubborn
stains.Thesemayrequireasafe
solventsuchasIsopropylAlcohol
orMineralSpirit.Ahalfcupof
householdbleachto5litresof
watercanalsobeusedasauseful
disinfectant.
