CAT5 Connection Schedule
Station Configuration
SW1 –CAPx Signal Selection
Each E-Flex relay panel (EFRP) has four discrete CapT signal inputs (CAP1-4) while the E-Flex room controller (EFRC) supports three
signal inputs (CAP1-3) which are then assigned to control selected zones. These input connections are made over a single Cat5 cable;
wires 3 thru 6 carry the CAPx signals (See CAT5 schedule above). The selection of which CAPx input a station will be connected to will
be made at the station using a rotary switch, SW1.
Note: Multiple stations can be set to connect to the same CAPx signal and stations can be connected to more than one E-Flex panel or
room controller.
SW2 –Preset Bank Select, LED Tracking
SW2 dip switch is used to select preset banks on select stations. The standard CapT2-7 (shown above) provides four preset banks 1-
4, 5-8, 9-12, and 13-16. This dip switch is also used to enable /disable LED tracking on the station. When enabled, the button LED
indicators track the last button pressed. When disabled the button LED indicators are lit only while pressed.
*CapT2-5 Button 1 Function.
CapT2 wall stations for the E-Flex Lighting and Energy control system provide a
capacitive touch button interface in a Decora frame. CapT2 wall stations include button
layouts with up to 7-buttons for simple ON/OFF to a 4-preset recall with OFF, and
raise/lower control. The standard 4-preset recall layout is bank selectable via a dip
switch on the rear of the station and can be configured to recall presets 1-4, 5-8, 9-12,
or 13-16 from an E-Flex relay panel or E-Flex room controller. Station interconnects
using standard CAT5 cable.
