•Pleaseread carefullythe instructionsand labels on the surfaceof the
batterybeforeusing it.
•Charge yourbatteryinacoolandwell-ventilated room. Charging at
overheatambient temperaturemaymakethe batteryheat, fume, burn,
deformoreven explode.
•The batteryfeaturesspecialprotection circuitsand devices. Donot
disassemblebattery,orshort-circuit orelectrolyteleakagemayoccur. If
electrolytesplashesintoyoureyes,youmayhavethe riskof getting blind. In
this case, rinseyoureyeswithclean water(neverrub the eyes)and see a
doctorimmediately.
•Squeezing ofbattery, mechanicalvibration orshaking of batteryoruseof
short-circuited batteryis strictlyprohibited, becausesuchvehaviorwill
damage the batteryorcomponentsconnected withit. Short circuitmay
result fromdirect connection of the positivepoleand the negativepoleof the
batterybymetalobjects, suchasacoin, pen, orpaperclip, sokeep the

•Keep metalcontactsand the batteryclean.
•Neverusedamaged orexhaustedbatteries.
•Replacethe batterywhen it fails tomeet the performancerequirements. A
batterycan be recharged forhundredsoftimesuntil replacement is
necessary.Asconsumergoods, abatterycan be chargedanddischarged
forhundredsof times, but itscapacitywilldecreasegradually.Ifyounoticea
significant decreaseinoperation time(talktimeand standbytime), it is
probablytimetobuyanew battery.
•Neverexposeyourbatterytodirect sunlight orheavy smog ordust. Never
useyourbatteryinahigh humidityenvironment, suchasinabathroom.

The deviceis not waterproof,sokeepyourphoneawayfromrainordamp.
•Donot placethebatteryplaceswheretemperaturesis too high ortoolow.
Temperatureabove55 orbelow -10 will affect batteryperformance.
•Neverdisposeof batteriesinafiretoavoidexplosion.
•Donot throwyourbatteryintowater,otherwiseinternalshort circuit may
occur, whichwill makethe batteryheat, fume, deform, damage oreven
explode.
•Disposeof batteries(e.g. recycling)inline withregulations. Donot dispose
of batteriesashouseholdgarbage toavoidexplosion orpollution.
•The batterycan onlyuseadedicated charger, and timeforcontinuous
charging is not allowed toexceed 12 hours.
•Keep yourbatteryinasafeplaceoutof the reachof children toavoidany
danger.
Pleasefollowtheprecautionsbelowto use thecharger.
•Pleaseread theinstructionsand the labels on the surfaceof the charger
carefullybeforeusing it.
•Donot trytodisassembleormodifythe charger. Neverusethecharger
when powercordis damaged, otherwise, electric shock, fireand charger
damage mayoccur.
•Nevertouchthechargerwithawethand. If yourchargercomesintocontact
withwaterorotherliquids, switchoff the powerimmediately.
•Donot short-circuit yourcharger.Mechanicalvibration orshaking ofyour
chargeris prohibited. Donot exposureyourbatterytostrong sunlight. It is
prohibited touseyourphoneunderhigh humidityenvironments, suchasin
the bathroom. The deviceis not waterproof,sokeep yourphone awayfrom
rainordamp.
•Donot useyourchargerinthevicinityof electronic devicessuchasTVor
radio.
•Holdfirmthe chargertounplug. Neverpull the wire, otherwisethe wire
might be damaged.
•Keep yourchargerinasafeplaceout ofthe reachofchildren toavoidany
danger.
Pleasefollowtheprecautionsbelowto use theheadset(you may need
to buyaheadsetseparately).
•Pleasekeepappropriatevolumewhen using the headset toavoiddamage
toyourhearing.
•Donot pull the headset wireforcefullytoavoidanycrack.
•Long termuseof headset inplaceswithhigh temperatureorhigh humidity

can easilylead toheadsetdamage orshorterservicelife.
•Donot useheadset whiledriving, riding abikeorwalking on theroad in
caseof anytraffic accident.
•Keep the headset inasafeplaceout of thereachof children toavoidany
danger.

2. Installation and Charging
2.1Installationofbattery
Follow stepsbelow forinstallation of the battery:
Align the metalcontact of batterywiththe metalcontact ofbattery
compartment, and get the batterystuckintothebatterycompartment;
Placethe batterycoverontothe phone bodyasshowninfigure(2)below,
and gentlypushthebatterycoverinthe direction of arrow until it rightlyfits
the phone body;
2.2Removal ofthebattery
Follow stepsbelow forremovalof the battery.
Slide opensthe batterycoverasshowninfigure(1)below
Removethe batteryinthe direction asshowninfigure(2)below.

Warn: be suretopoweroff the phoneand removeexternalpower
beforeremoving the battery. Neverremovethebatterydirectlywhen
the phone is on,otherwisethe SIMcardand phonemaybedamaged.
2.3Batterycharging
Plug the chargerintopoweroutlet.
Plug the interfaceofthe chargerintothe chargersocket onthe side ofthe
phone.
Then, indication of powerlevelwill be scrolled out on theicon area of the
phone screen system; if the phone is powered offwhilebeing charged, the
charging indication animation willappearonthescreen,indicating the phone
is being charged, asshowninthe figure:

Note: Pleasebecarefulwiththe operation. Donot forciblyunplug
chargerfromcharging interface, otherwisephone orchargermaybe
damaged.
Pleasecompletelycharge thebatterybeforeuse.
Donot removethe batteryorthe SIMcardwhilecharging the battery.
If the batteryis used up, the phone will automaticallyshutdown.
2.4InstallationofSIMCard
Metalcontact surfaceof SIMcardis easilyscratched. Beforeassembly,you
must removeit carefully.
Turnoff the phone,and removethe batteryand otherexternalpower
supplies.
Insert SIMcardintoSIMcardholderinthe direction of arrow.

2.5Removal ofSIMCard
When you need toremovetheSIMcard, pleasepoweroff phone first, then
removeotherexternalpowersuppliesand battery, and pushSIMcardinthe
direction of arrow toremovethe SIMcard.
Note: TheSIMcardisacomputerchipthatcontainsprotocol
details, securityinformation and personal phonebook.
2.6Installationofmemorycard
Your LenovoP707 phone supports T-FLASH (MicroSD) multi-functional
memorycard. You can storevideos, photos, pictures, MP3, audioclipstoa
memorycard.
Installation and removal of thememorycard
Follow stepsbelow forinstallation of the memorycard:
Pull open SD cardholdercoverinthe direction of arrow asshownin

figure(1)below, and flipovertheSD cardholdercoverinthe direction of
arrow asshowninfigure(2);
Getsthe memorycardstuckintothe cardholderwiththe metalsurface②
keeping downward;
Flipdownthe SD cardholdercoverinthe direction of arrow as③
showninfigure(3)below, and fastenthe SD cardholdercoverinthe
direction of arrow asshowninfigure(4)below.
Note: pleasebe carefulwhen you install the memorycard, as
operating withforcemaylead todamage of the memorycardholder
orblocking of the memorycardonceit is inserted. If the memorycard
is blocked orinclineswhen it is being inserted, do notoperateby
force, and makesureifyourmemorycardis correctlyinstalled.

Note: pleasepowerphoneoff beforeinstallation orremovalof
memorycard, otherwiseit maycausefileloss and abnormalusing of
the phone.
Follow stepsbelow forremovalof the SD card:
Pull open SD cardholdercoverinthe direction of arrow asshownin
figure(1)below, and flipovertheSD cardholdercoverinthe direction of
arrow asshowninfigure(2)below;
Removethe memorycard;②
Flipdownthe SD cardholdercoverin③the direction of arrow as
showninfigure(3)below, and fastenthe SD cardholdercoverinthe
direction of arrow asshowninfigure(4)below.
2.7Installationofstylus
Pass the loop attached tothe stylusthrough the lanyardholeasshownin
the figurebelow, then bucklethe batterycover;

2.8Poweronandoffthephone
Makesurethe batteryhasbeen installed properly. Poweron the phone and
press and hold[Powerkey] until the screen showspower-on animation.
SomeSIMcardsmayhavePIN code protection.If thereis prompt toinput
PIN code, pleaseenteryourPIN codeand then press [OKkey]. The initial
passwordforPIN code is 1234.
If the SIMcardinserted is valid, the phonewill automaticallysearch
availablenetworkafterpower-on, otherwiseit will prompt you toinsert the
SIMcard.
Topoweroff the phone, press and holdthe [Powerkey] until the power-off
animation appearson the screen.
2.9Securitypassword
You can usethe access passworddescribed inthis section toprevent
unauthorizeduseofyourSIMcard.
2.9.1PINcode
PIN code is used topreventyourSIMcardfromillegaluse. If the PIN code

protection function is activated,the screen will displaythe prompt for
entering PIN code.If wrong PIN codesareentered forthree timesin
succession, the SIMcardwill be automaticallylocked. Youmust enterPUK
code tounlocktheSIMcard. PIN codeis related tothe SIMcardinstead of
the phone andprovidedbythe networkoperator.
2.9.2PUKcode
PUKcode is personalunlocking code that is used tounlockSIMcardlocked
due toentering wrong PIN codes.If wrongPUKcodesareentered forten
timesinaccumulation, the SIMcardwill becomeinvalid. PUKcodesare
provided bythenetworkoperator.

The phone offersmp3 music playfunction, and you candownloadmp3

4.2Camera
Camerainterfacecan be accessed via[Camera]. [Camera] can achieveHD
pixelcameraeffects. Adjust parameterstofind aview, and then press [Side
Camera] keytotakeaphoto.Youcan view photossavedin[Album]
submenu.
4.3USBconnectionfunction
The phone offersUSBconnection, andyoucan select storage devices,
networkcamerasorserialport/PC Sync/Internet access.
4.3.1Mass Storage
Oncethe phone is connected toaPC viadatacable, select Mass Storage to
achievethe USB connection between the phoneand PC.
Note:
Whiletransmitting filesusing the USB connection, pleasewait
patiently, asit is relativelyslow totransmit filestothe phone. Toexit
USB connection, pleaseshut downthe USB deviceon PC first. Only
when the PC promptsthat the USBdevicecan be safelyremoved
fromthe systemcan the USB connection between thePC and the
phone bedisconnected, otherwiseit maylead tofileloss during the
transmission orexception of thephone.
Ifexception occurstofilessavedinthe phone,pleaseselecttoformat
the storage card.3.USBrelated function modules
