Before use, please read and follow these instructions carefully, even if you feel you are familiar with the appliance.
They contain important information concerning the operation, safety and maintenance when using the appliance.
Please retain these instructions for future use and reference.
IMPORTANT This appliance must be installed in accordance with the IEE wiring regulations and current building
regulations. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
• Appliance must not be mounted on a flammable surface
•Ensure the appliance does not come in contact with any combustible materials
•Ensure the appliance is level and securely fixed to the wall using minimum 25mm back boxes
•The appliance should have a minimum air space of 300mm on all sides.
•Before installation or maintenance, ensure the mains supply is switched off
•Check that the total load on the circuit including when this appliance is fitted does not exceed the rating of the
circuit cable and circuit breaker.
•Only install the appliance if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds with the mains voltage.
CAUTION Before commencing any installation or maintenance work, make sure the mains
power supply is isolated.
DISPOSAL
In accordance with European Directive 2002/96/
EG concerning waste electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE), please return any electrical
equipment that you will no longer use to the
collection points provided for their disposal.
This symbol indicates that the appliance cannot be treated
as normal domestic waste, but must be handed to a
collection point for where electric and electronic appliances
are recycled.
Information concerning where the equipment can be
disposed of can be obtained from your local authority.
CARE & CLEANING
1. The appliance should be cleaned regularly.
2. Isolate electricity supply and allow appliance to cool,
wipe with a soft damp cloth. Do not use detergent
or abrasives.
3. Do not scrape the surfaces with sharp hard tools.

INSTALLATION
• Before carrying out the installation, ensure that the mains supply
has been isolated and the appliance power switch is turn off and
the supplied fuse has been removed.
• Please make sure the back box to house this appliance is at least
25mm deep, we recommend the use of a deeper back box for easier
installation. Ensure at least a 300mm air circulation is allowed around
the appliance.
• Connect the incoming mains supply and outgoing load cables to the
relevant terminals according to the markings on the appliance.
Ensure all terminal screws have been tightened correctly.
• This appliance is also provided with 2 pre-installed removable cable
inlets for surface cable entry. These cable inlets have been designed
to accommodate both flat and round cable.
• Finally secure the appliance to the back box with the fixing screws
provided, forming the cables during installation to avoid any
cable damage.

Battery
• This appliance has a built-in non-replaceable rechargeable battery,
the battery will store the pre-set programmes when the appliance is
powered off for up to 20 days.
• Before programming for the first time, it is recommended to connect the
appliance to the mains for at least 15 minutes prior.
• If the screen goes blank or very faint after a long shut down, please
reconnect the appliance to mains power and let the battery recharge.
Reset the timer and re-enter the clock and programmes according.

PROGRAMMING THE TIMER FUSED SPUR
Reset
Prior to programming for the first time or after the battery has been
drained the appliance must be re-set.
This will ensure that any previous programs are cleared and the appliance
will revert back to its factory settings.
To re-set press the re-set button once using a pointed object e.g.
paper clip.
The display will turn off and then flash showing all digits before displaying
the clock as 00:00:00 and the default day as MO (Monday) the timer
status will be OFF.
PLEASE NOTE: The appliance screen will automatically lock if no buttons
are pressed within 60 seconds.
Unlock the Display
• Press down the MODE button on the appliance for 3 seconds
to unlock.
Setting the Clock
PLEASE NOTE: Always set this clock according to Greenwich Mean Time
(GMT) even if installation and setting occurs during British Summer Time
(BST). If time settings are made during BST then use the BST +1hr once set
to GMT. This will allow a much easier adjustment to GMT later.
• Press the “UP” button to enter the clock setting. The days of the week
will flash at the top of the display. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” buttons
to select the current day. These will be displayed as
MO - Monday
TU - Tuesday
WE - Wednesday
TH - Thursday
FR - Friday
SA - Saturday
SU - Sunday
Once the correct day has been selected, press the “MODE” button
to save.
• Once the current day has been saved the Hour digits will start flashing.
Use the “UP” or “DOWN” buttons to increase or decrease the hour.
The Hours are displayed in a 24-hour format:
• Press the “MODE” button to save.
• Once saved the Minute digits will flash press the “UP” or “DOWN”
buttons to increase or decrease the minute.
• Press the “MODE” button to save.
BST +1 hr.
• To deactivate the BST +1 hour during GMT, press and hold both “UP”
and “DOWN” buttons together, the LCD display +1 will disappear and
the appliance clock will decrease by 1 hour, the appliance is now set to
GMT. To activate BST +1 Hour press and hold both “UP” and “DOWN”
buttons together, the LCD will display +1 to show the time is running
in BST mode.
Setting programs/schedules
• Unlock the display by pressing down the “MODE” button
for 3 seconds.
• Press the “DOWN” button to enter program 1 ON setting.
• Press the “MODE” button, the week setting will flash at the top
of the screen.
• Press the “UP” or “DOWN” buttons to choose a programming cycle:
The first cycle will allow you to set a program (MAX 24 ON/OFF per week)
for each individual day MO will flash first. You can cycle through each day
by pressing the “UP” button. Once you have scrolled through all the days
the next cycle displayed will be:
MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, - This allows programs to be set which will be
replicated for Monday – Friday
SA & SU - This allows programs to be set which will be replicated for
Saturday - Sunday
MO, TU, WE, TH, FRI, SA - This allows programs to be set which will be
replicated for Monday to Saturday with no programs for Sunday
MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU - This allows programs to be set which will
be replicated for Monday to Sunday
MO, WE, FR - This allows programs to be set which will be replicated for
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
TU, TH, SA - This allows programs to be set which will be replicated for
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Once the correct day or cycle is selected press the “MODE”
button to save.
• Hour setting flashes, press the “UP” or “DOWN” buttons to increase
or decrease the value, then press the “MODE” button to save.
• Minute setting flashes press the “UP” or “DOWN” buttons to increase
or decrease the value, then press the “MODE” button to save.
• Repeat the process above to set OFF program and for additional
ON/OFF programs.
PLEASE NOTE: when adding additional ON/OFF programs ensure the
same Day or Cycle is displayed at the top of the screen.
• There are up to 24 ON and 24 OFF programs that can be set, you can
terminate the program setting at any time by pressing the “MODE”
button for 3 seconds to return to clock mode.All previous entered
programs will be stored in the appliance.
• To perform a quick delete of a program during the setup, press the
“BOOST” button.
Output mode setting
• Unlock the display by pressing down the “MODE” button
for 3 seconds.
• Press the “MODE” button to choose the control method
of this appliance:
“ON”- the appliance is permanently ON and will remain in this state
until another mode is selected.
“OFF” the appliance is permanently OFF and will remain in this state
until another mode is selected.
“AUTO OFF”- the appliance will remain in its OFF mode until the next
set ON program (Program Skip)
“AUTO ON”- the appliance will remain in its ON mode until the next
set OFF program (Program Advance)

Boost Function
This appliance is fitted with a “BOOST” function, this function allows you
to override the pre-set program and schedules and manage to turn on
the load outside of the pre-set program without interrupting the pre-set
programs and schedules.
The “BOOST” function allows boosts of:
15 minutes – 1st Button Press
30 minutes – 2nd Button Press
1 hour – 3rd Button Press
2 hours - 4th Button Press
When the duration has been selected a count down timer will be
displayed on the appliance screen.
To cancel the Boost function at any time, hold the “BOOST” button
for 3 seconds.
To re-start the Boost duration, press the “BOOST” button once, the count
down will then re-start from your previous chosen duration.
PLEASE NOTE: “BOOST” function only operates in Locked Mode.
