UsingtheBattery
Battery Capacity
YourphoneisequippedwithaLithiumIon(LiIon)battery.Itallowsyou
torechargeyourbatterybeforeitisfullydrained.Thebatteryprovides
approximately150minutesofcontinuoustalktimeorapproximately
6daysofcontinuousstandbytime.
Whenthebatteryreaches5%ofitscapacity,thebatteryiconblinks.When
thereareapproximatelytwominutesoftalktimeleft,thephonesounds
anaudiblealertevery30secondsandthenpowersdown.
Note: Long backlight settings, searching for service and vibrate mode
affect the battery’s talk and standby times.
Tip: Be sure to charge your phone’s battery and watch your indicator to
ensure your levels are okay.
Installing the Battery
YourphonecomeswithaLiIonbattery.Followthesestepstoinstallit:
1. Placethebatteryintheopeningata45-degreeanglewiththemetal
contactsatthebottom,facingdownward.
2. Gentlypressdownonthebatteryuntilthelatchsnapsintoplace.
Removing the Battery
Toremoveyourbatteryforcharging,orforanyotherreason,followthese
easysteps:
1. Makesurethepowerisoffsothatyoudon’tloseanystorednumbers
ormessages.
2. Pushthebatteryreleaselatchup.

The more lines you have, the stronger your signal.

Press and hold to call your voicemail box.

Tip: Display indicators let you know when you’re off the network
available to you and whether you are operating in digital mode.

Charging the Battery
Yourphonecomeswitharechargeablebattery.Youshouldchargethe
batteryassoonaspossiblesoyoucanbeginusingyourphone.
Keepingtrackofyourbattery’schargeisimportant.Ifyourbatterylevel
becomestoolow,yourphoneautomaticallyturnsoffandyouwillloseall
theinformationyouwerejustworkingon.Foraquickcheckofyour
phone’sbatterylevel,glanceatthebatterychargeindicatorlocatedinthe
upper-rightcornerofyourphone’sdisplayscreen.Ifthebatterychargeis
gettingtoolow,thebatteryicon( )blinksandthephonesoundsa
warningtone.
Alwaysuseanapproveddesktopcharger,travelchargerorvehiclepower
adaptertochargeyourbattery.
Warning! Using the wrong battery charger could cause damage to your
phone and void the warranty.
Using the Desktop Charger
Tousethedesktopchargerprovidedwithyourphone:
1. PlugtheroundendoftheACadapterintothechargerholderandthe
otherendintotheelectricaloutlet.
2. Insertthephone(withthebatteryinstalled)intotheslot.
䊳Aredlightonthechargerletsyouknowthebatteryischarging.
䊳A green light indicates that the battery is at least 80 percent charged.
Ittakesapproximatelythreehourstofullyrechargeacompletely
rundownbattery.WiththeapprovedLiIonbattery,itisokaytorechargethe
batterybeforeitbecomescompletelyrundown.

your call is dropped in an area where you think network service is

Whenusingthisfeature,thenormalairtimerateswillbechargedforeach
ofthetwocalls.
