LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT
1. WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS :
LG offers you a limited warranty that the enclosed
subscriber unit and its enclosed accessories will
be free from defects in material and workmanship,
according to the following terms and conditions:
1. The limited warranty for the product extends for
TWELVE (12) MONTHS beginning on the date of
purchase of the product with valid proof of purchase,
or absent valid proof of purchase, FIFTEEN (15)
MONTHS from date of manufacture as determined
by the unit’s manufacture date code.
2. The limited warranty extends only to the original
purchaser of the product and is not assignable or
transferable to any subsequent purchaser/end user.
3. This warranty is good only to the original purchaser
of the product during the warranty period as long
as it is in the U.S, including Alaska, Hawaii, U.S.
Territories and Canada.
4. The external housing and cosmetic parts shall
be free of defects at the time of shipment and,
therefore, shall not be covered under these limited
warranty terms.
5. Upon request from LG, the consumer must provide
information to reasonably prove the date of
purchase.
6. The customer shall bear the cost of shipping the
product to the Customer Service Department of LG.
LG shall bear the cost of shipping the product back to
the consumer after the completion of service under
this limited warranty.
2. WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT
COVER :
1. Defects or damages resulting from use of the product
in other than its normal and customary manner.
2. Defects or damages from abnormal use, abnormal
conditions, improper storage, exposure to moisture or
dampness, unauthorized modifications, unauthorized
connections, unauthorized repair, misuse, neglect,
abuse, accident, alteration, improper installation, or
other acts which are not the fault of LG, including
damage caused by shipping, blown fuses, spills of
food or liquid.
3. Breakage or damage to antennas unless caused
directly by defects in material or workmanship.
4. That the Customer Service Department at LG was
not notified by consumer of the alleged defect or
malfunction of the product during the applicable
limited warranty period.
5. Products which have had the serial number removed
or made illegible.
6. This limited warranty is in lieu of all other
warranties, express or implied either in fact or
by operations of law, statutory or otherwise,
including, but not limited to any implied warranty of
marketability or fitness for a particular use.
7. Damage resulting from use of non-LG approved
accessories.
8. All plastic surfaces and all other externally exposed
parts that are scratched or damaged due to normal
customer use.

9. Products operated outside published maximum
ratings.
10. Products used or obtained in a rental program.
11. Consumables (such as fuses).
3. WHAT LG WILL DO:
LG will, at its sole option, either repair, replace or
refund the purchase price of any unit that does
not conform to this limited warranty. LG may
choose at its option to use functionally equivalent
reconditioned, refurbished or new units or parts or
any units. In addition, LG will not re-install or back-
up any data, applications or software that you have
added to your phone. It is therefore recommended
that you back-up any such data or information prior
to sending the unit to LG to avoid the permanent
loss of such information.
4. STATE LAW RIGHTS :
No other express warranty is applicable to
this product. THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MARKETABILITY, IS LIMITED TO
THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY
HEREIN. LG INFOCOMM INC. SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR THE LOSS OF THE USE OF THE
PRODUCT, INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OR ANY OTHER
DAMAGES, DIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL, ARISING
OUT OF THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS
PRODUCT OR FOR ANY BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MARKETABILITY APPLICABLE TO
THIS PRODUCT.
Some states do not allow the exclusive of limitation
of incidental or consequential damages or
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts;
so these limitations or exclusions may not apply to
you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights
and you may also have other rights which vary from
state to state.

Installing the SIM Card
When you subscribe to a cellular
network, you are provided with a SIM
card loaded with your subscription
details, such as your PIN, any
optional services available and
other subscriber information.
1Open battery cover by sliding it
upwards and lifting it up.
2Remove the battery by using the
fingertip cutout at the bottom of the
battery compartment to lift it out.
3Insert your SIM card with the label
side facing up.
4Insert your battery by aligning the
battery contacts with the phone
terminals and pressing it down.
Installing the SIM card and battery
IMPORTANT!
The SIM card can be easily damaged
by scratches or bending. Be careful
when handling, inserting or removing
the card. Keep all SIM cards out of the
reach of small children.

the charger in the USB/

WARNING: Do not remove the battery

Calling
Making a call
1Make sure your phone is on.
2Use the keypad to enter the
number. To delete a digit, press the
Right Soft Key Clear.
3Press the Send Key to begin
the call.
4To end the call, press the Power/
End Key .
TIP! To enter + when making an
international call, press and hold .
Making a call from your
Contacts
It’s easy to call anyone whose number
you have stored in your Contacts.
1Press the Left Soft Key
Menu
to open the main menu. Select
Contacts, then select Names.
Or
From the Home screen, press the
down Navigation Key .
2Using the Navigation Keys, scroll
down to the contact you want to
call.
3Press the Send Key to begin
the call.
Answering and rejecting a
call
When your phone rings, press the
Send Key to answer the call.
While your phone is ringing you can
press the Right Soft Key Silent
to mute the ringing. This is useful if
you have forgotten to change your
profile to silent for a meeting.
Press the Power/End Key or
press the Right Soft Key Reject
to reject an incoming call.
TIP!
You can change the settings on your
phone to answer your calls in different
ways. Press the Left Soft Key Menu,
select Settings and choose Call. Select
Answer mode and choose from Press
Send Key or Press Any Key.
Using the speakerphone
During a call, you can activate the
speakerphone by pressing
and you can use the handset for
a hands-free conversation. If the
speakerphone is on, press
again to resume normal handset
conversation mode.

Speed Dials
You can assign a Speed Dial number
to a contact you call frequently.
1Press the Left Soft Key Menu
to open the main menu. Select
Contacts, then select Speed
Dials.
2 Highlight any Speed Dial number
by using the Navigation Keys or by
pressing a number key from the
keypad and press to select the
Speed Dial location.
3Your Contacts list will open.
Highlight the contact you’d like to
assign to that number using the
Navigation Keys and press .
NOTE Your voicemail is preset to
Speed Dial 1 and cannot be changed.
Once you have assigned a Speed
Dial, you can initiate a call by
pressing and holding the Speed Dial
number.
Viewing your Call Log
Press the Left Soft Key Menu
and select Recent Calls. Then choose
Call Log.
Or
Press the Send Key to view your
call logs.
Call Log - View a complete list of all your
dialed, received and missed calls.
Missed Calls - View a list of any calls
you have missed.
Received Calls - View a list of all the
numbers that have called you.
Dialed Numbers - View a list of all the
numbers you have called.
TIP! From any call log, press the Left
Soft Key Options and select
Delete to delete the selected items.
Then press Yes to confirm.
Call Duration - View details of how
long you have spent on your calls both
received and dialed.
To erase a specific call duration
record, press the Left Soft Key
Options and select Clear. To erase
all of the call duration records, select
Clear All. Then enter your Security
Code and press .

Settings
To change your call settings, press
the Left Soft Key Menu,select
Settings and choose Call.
Send My Number - Choose whether
your number will be displayed when you
call someone (Depends on your service
operator).
Answer Mode -
Allows you to set the
answering method. You can choose from
Press Send Key or Press Any Key.
Save New Number -
Selecting this
option will save numbers that are not
already in your contacts upon ending the
call.
TTY -
Allows you to activate TTY Mode to
communicate via TTY device.

Searching for a contact
1Press the Left Soft Key Menu,
select Contacts and choose
Names.
2Using the Navigation Keys, scroll
down to the contact you want to
call.
Or
1Press the Left Soft Key Menu,
select Contacts and choose
Names.
2Press the Left Soft Key
Options and select Search.
3Use the keypad to enter the first
letter(s) of the contact you want
to call.
Or
1Enter the number you wish to
search on the Home screen
and press the Left Soft Key
Options.
2Select Search in the options
menu.
Adding a new contact
1 Press the Left Soft Key Menu,
select Contacts and choose
Names.
2Press the Left Soft Key
Options and select New Contact

fields provided and press the Right
Soft Key Done.

Creating a business card
The Business Card function allows
you to create your own business card.
1Press the Left Soft Key Menu,
select Contacts, and choose My
Business Card.
2Press the Left Soft Key New
and enter your name, phone
numbers, and email address.
3Press the Right Soft Key Done
to save your business card.
Changing your contact
settings
1Press the Left Soft Key Menu
and select Contacts.

Select Settings. From here you can
adjust the following settings:
Contact List Settings - Choose
whether to view contacts saved to
both your Handset & SIM, Handset
or SIM. You can also select to show
the first name or last name of a
contact first.
Copy - Copy your contacts from
your SIM card to your phone or
vice versa.
Move -
This works in the same way
as Copy, but the contact will only be
saved to the location you’ve moved
it to. If you move a contact from
the SIM card to the phone, it will be
deleted from the SIM card memory.
Clear Contacts - Delete all your
contacts from your handset or
SIM card.
Memory Info. - You can check
how much memory you’ve got left
on your handset or your SIM card.
Your LG325G includes functions
related to SMS (Short Message
Service) and the network’s service
messages. To use these functions,
press the Left Soft Key Menu
and select Messages.

Sending a message

Press the Left Soft Key Menu,
select Messages and choose Create
Message.

Enter your message using the T9
predictive mode, Abc manual mode
or 123 mode. You can switch text
input modes by pressing .

and select Sent To to add a contact.

Options and select Contacts or
Recent List to select the recipient
from your Contacts. Otherwise use
the keypad to enter the recipient.

Press the Left Soft Key Options
and choose Send to send the message.
Entering text
You can enter alphanumeric
characters using the phone’s keypad.
The following text input methods are
available in the phone: T9 mode, Abc
mode and 123 mode. To change
modes, press .
T9 mode
T9 mode uses a built-in dictionary
to recognize words you’re writing
based on the key sequences you
press. Simply press the number key
associated with the letter you want to
enter and the dictionary will recognize
the word once all the letters are
entered.
Using the T9 Mode
1When you are in the T9 predictive
text input mode, start entering a
word by pressing keys to
. Press one key per letter.
- If the desired word is missing
from the word choices list, press
the Left Soft Key Spell and
add it by using the Abc mode.
- Press to change the letter
case of the word you’re entering
(which is highlighted).
2 Enter the whole word before
editing or deleting any keystrokes.
- To delete letters, press the Right
Soft Key
Clear
.
Messages
NOTE Some fields may allow only
one text input mode (e.g. telephone
number in address book fields).

- Complete each word by pressing
.
Abc mode
This mode allows you to enter letters
by pressing the key labeled with the
desired letter once, twice, three or
four times until the desired letter is
displayed.
123 mode
Type numbers using one keystroke
per number. You can also add
numbers while remaining in the letter
modes by pressing and holding the
desired key.
Inserting symbols
If you want to insert symbols, press
, then you can choose a symbol.
Or you can press the Left Soft Key
Options, select Insert, then
choose Symbol.
Changing the language
LG325G supports various languages.
There are two ways to change the
text input language. You can press
the Left Soft Key Options, select
Writing Language, and then set
the language you want. Or you can
simply press and hold . The text
input options may differ depending on
the language you choose.
Message folders
Press the Left Soft Key Menu
and select Messages.
Create Message - Create a new
message.
Inbox -
All of your received messages
are saved in the Inbox.
Drafts -
If you don’t have time to
finish writing a message, you can save
what you have written so far in the
Drafts folder.
Outbox - This is a temporary storage
folder while messages are being sent.
It also stores the messages that have
failed to send.

Message Settings - Your message
settings are pre-defined so that you
can send messages immediately. If
you would like to change the settings,
you can do so in this menu.
Managing your messages
1Press the Left Soft Key Menu,
select Messages and choose
Inbox.
2Use the Navigation Keys to
highlight a message.
3Press the Left Soft Key
Options and choose from the
following options:
Open - Open the selected
message.
Reply - Send a reply to the
selected message.
Delete - Delete the selected
message.
Call sender - Call the person
who sent you the message.
Move to SIM (or Move to Phone)
- Moves the selected message to
the SIM card or Phone.
Forward - Send the selected
message to another person.
Information - You can check the
type, mailbox, sender and received
time for the selected message.
New Message - Creates a new
message, regardless of who sent
you a message.
Mark/Unmark - Mark a message
or multiple messages in order to
perform an action to the selected
messages.
Delete All Read - Delete all of the
read messages.
Delete All Unread Messages -
Delete all of the unread messages.
Delete All - Delete all messages.
If you see the message No space
for SIM message, you should delete
some messages from your Inbox to
create space.
If you see the message No space
for messages, you can delete either
messages or saved files to create
more space.
