Before you begin
Safety Guidelines

permanentfailure.Becarefulwhenusingyourphonenearotherelectronic
devices.

•Never use an unapproved battery that could cause damages to the phone or the battery itself, or even
explode.
•Never place your phone in a microwave oven, as this will result in an explosion of the battery.
•Do not dispose of your battery in fire or with hazardous or flammable materials.
•Make sure the battery does not come into contact with sharp-edged items, such as animal teeth or claws.
This could cause a fire.
•Store the battery in a place out of the reach of children.
•Be careful so that children do not swallow any parts of the phone, such as rubber plugs (earpiece, parts
that connect to the phone, etc.). This could cause asphyxiation or suffocation.
•Disconnect the plug and charger from the outlet when the phone shows that the battery has been fully
charged, because it may cause electric shock or fire hazard.
•When in the car, do not leave your phone, or install a hands-free kit, near the airbag. If wireless
equipment is improperly installed, you can be seriously injured if the airbag is deployed.
•Do not use mobile phone while driving.
•Do not use the phone in areas where its usage is prohibited. (For example: in airplanes).
•Do not expose the battery charger or adapter to direct sunlight, or use it in places with high humidity,
such as bathroom.
•Do not use harsh chemicals (such as alcohol, benzene, solvents, etc.) or detergents to clean the phone.
This could cause fire.

productsprovidedbyotherproviders.
• Onlyauthorizedpersonnelshouldservicethephoneanditsaccessories.
• Installationorservicemayresultinaccidentsandconsequentlyinvalidatethe

• Donotholdorlettheantennacomeincontactwithyourbodyduringacall.

Information about the RF exposure from FCC

InAugust1996,theFederalCommunicationsCommission(FCC)oftheUnited
States,withitsactioninReportandOrderFCC96-326,adoptedanupdatedsafety
standardforhumanexposuretoradiofrequency(RF)electromagneticenergy
emittedbyFCCregulatedtransmitters.Thoseguidelinesareconsistentwiththe
safetystandardpreviouslysetbybothinternationalandU.S.standards.Thedesign
ofthisphonecomplieswithFCCguidelinesandtheseinternationalstandards.

Body effects
This device was tested for typical body operation, keeping a distance of 1.0cm
(0.39inch) between the user’s body and the back of the phone. To comply with RF exposure
requirements of the FCC standards, a minimum distance of 1.0cm
(0.39inch)betweentheuser’sbodyandthebackofthephoneisrequired.
Belt-clips,holsters,andsimilaraccessoriescontainingmetalliccomponentsfromothers
manufacturersshouldnotbeused.Accessorieswornclosetothebody,withoutkeepingaminimum
distanceof1.0cm(0.39inch)betweentheuser’sbodyandthebackofthephone,andthathave
notbeentestedfortypicalbodyoperation,maynotcomplywithFCC’sRFexposurelimitsand
shouldbeavoided.
Class B Compliance under article 15 of the FCC

Avoid damage to your ear
• Damagetoyourhearcanoccurduetoconstantexposuretoexcessivehigh
sound.We,therefore,recommendthatyoudonotturnonoroffthephonenear

Suggestions for a more efficient operation
Foryourphonetooperatemostefficiently:
• Donottouchtheantennaunnecessarily,whenthephoneisinuse.Thecontact
withtheantennaaffectscallquality,andmaycausethephonetooperateata
higherpowerlevelthanotherwisewouldbeneed.
Driving
Checkthelawsandregulationsrelatedtotheuseofwirelessphonesintheareas
whereyoudrive.Alwaysobeytheseregulations.Also,ifusingyourphonewhile
driving,makesureto:
• Payfullattentiontodriving;drivingsafelyisyourfirstresponsibility;
• Usehands-freeoperation,ifavailable;

Electronic Devices
MostmodernelectronicequipmentisshieldedfromRFsignals.
However,certainelectronicequipmentmaynotbeshieldedagainsttheRFsignals
fromyourwirelessphone.
Pacemaker
TheMedicalIndustryManufacturersAssociationrecommendsaminimumdistance
offifteen(15)centimeters,orsix(6)inches,betweenahandheldwirelessphone
andapacemaker,inordertoavoidpotentialinterferencebetweenthem.
Theseadvicesareconsistentwithindependentresearches,andwith
recommendationsbasedonwirelesstechnologyresearch.

• Alwayskeeptheproductmorethansix(6)inchesfromtheirpacemakerwhen
theproductisturnedON.
• Notcarrythephoneinashirtpocket.

• Ifyouhaveanyreasontosuspectthatinterferenceistakingplace,switchoff

Seriousinjuriescouldoccurifwirelessequipmentisimproperlyinstalledintothecar
whentheairbaginflates.

Explosion, Shock and Fire Danger

Precautions when using SIM cards
• DonotinserttheSIMcardintothedevicewiththelabelorsealattached.This
maycausedamage.
• DonotremovetheSIMcardwhileusingthedevice.
• ThismaydamagetheSIMcardorthesystem.
• TakeextracaretoensurethattheSIMcardisnotscratched,bent,ordamaged
bymagnet.ThismaydeletefilessavedontheSIMcardorcausedevice
malfunctions.
Precautions when using memory cards
• Makesurethattheorientationiscorrectwheninsertingthememorycard.
Insertingusingthewrongorientationmaydamagethecard.
Ambient temperatures
Useyourphoneintemperaturesbetween0ºCand35ºC,ifpossible.Exposing
yourphonetoextremelyloworhightemperaturesmayresultindamage,
malfunction,orevenexplosion.

Camera features
Portrait
You can take a sharp portrait by applying the camera lens blur effect.
1 Tap , then tap Portrait.
2 Tap to take a photo.
• To adjust blur strength, drag the slide bar to the left or right.
• Keep the distance to your subject within 1.3 ~ 5.0 feet when using the
rear camera.
• This feature is not available If the surroundings are too dark.
• After applying this feature, tap the desired position on the preview

You can effectively take photos or record videos since the camera
recognises the object when taking a photo or recording a video.
1 Tap , then tap AI CAM.
2 When the object is recognised, the best effect for the scene is applied.
• To apply other effects, tap the scene icon.
• Portrait, pets, foods, sunrise, sunset, scenery, city view, flowers, etc,
total 8 categories can be recognised automatically.
• The result of the scene recognition may differ depending on the
illumination or the location of the subject while taking photos. Keywords
do not appear on the actual photos or videos.
• This feature is available only when the front and rear cameras are in the
Auto mode.
